In honor of this precious slot on the calendar, 826LA is auctioning off ten different children’s books signed by individual cast members from Glee to raise money for their free writing programs. Great and good, but what everyone really want to know is which Glee stars are soldiers-in-arms against Christmas-hating Progressives.

Can we take a moment to chortle hard at the name “The Learning Channel”? OK, great. Onto the horror show.

Kate Gosselin joined Sarah Palin on her show Temptation Yukon (AKA Sarah Palin’s Alaska ) last night, and the bleary-eyed TLC vet sent a message to the Palin family with a single stare: “This is what you want, Sarah? A reality show? I have a reality show, and I am downtrodden . I am a seething divorcee with a haircut like a circular saw. I am a sack of quilted vests. You don’t want to do this, Annie Oakley. Get out while you can. Use your optimism to fly away. Move quickly. Or I’ll crash this floatplane with all of us in it. Ahehe! Oh, let me .” Let’s review.

Sure, no one whacked halibuts silly this week, and Bristol didn’t even titillate us with her skeet-shooting prowess, but that’s no reason to turn your back on television’s finest hour. After all, we did witness a couple of fishing trips and the slow rise of Track, the eldest Palin child. Wheee! Ascent in the ranks! Sigh. Fight off your yawns and join us on a picture journey of last night’s highlights.
