L.A. Lakers’ Jordan Clarkson Enjoyed Chantel Jefferies Company During All-Star Weekend Looks like another one may have bitten the dust for Chanel Iman , the Sports Illustrated model who suffered a failed relationship with Tyga and a broken engagement with A$AP Rocky before moving on with Lakers baller Jordan Clarkson. But it looks as if that is now a wrap. The couple stopped sharing photos of each other a few months ago and it looks like Iman hasn’t been to a Lakers game in about the same period of time. Clarkson seems to be rebounding just fine. While Iman was in Miami for the big Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover reveal show, Jordan was in Toronto for All-Star weekend and he wasn’t alone! Our insiders saw Clarkson coupled up with stunner Chantel Jeffries , who has been previously linked to Desean Jackson and Justin Bieber. Clarkson was spied by BOSSIP insiders trying to keep a low profile while huddling close to Jeffries as they returned to the Thompson Hotel Friday and the pair were later spied at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre for Saturday night’s festivities. You can imagine her frustration, then, when Kim Kardashian urged Caitlyn Jenner to go … and this decision was made public no less. That led to an ugly phone call in which Kendall laid down the law. She also laid the smack down on Kylie Jenner for a different reason. When Kylie asked if she could uninvite Tyga from Kendall’s party due to one of their many fights, Kendall shot her down. She invited him. Fortunately, if you know anything about Kyga, you know they make up as quickly as they break up, and such was the case here, too. Brandi Glanville on Kim Richards: She’s Sober!

According to Brandi Glanville, Kim Richards has used a recent tragedy to turn her life around. On January 24, Richards’ ex-husband, Monty Brinson, passed away after a long battle with cancer. Richards and Brinson shared both a child and a strong connection to each other, even if they had not been married since 1988. In a farewell message to Brinson the day after he died, Richards referred to her ex-husband as the “best friend” she ever had. Considering Kim’s well-documented battle with addiction, it would have been easy for her to fall even further off the wagon as a result of this sad development.  But Brandi Glanville offered a positive update on her friend during a recent appearance on Theo Von and Matthew Cole Weiss’ podcast Allegedly . “Kim is great. I just saw her,” Glanville said. “She is sober, day by day. She is doing really well.” Brandi admits that she “didn’t know what to expect” from Richards after Brinson’s passing… and also admits that she may not have helped the cause. Glanville drank alcohol at Brinson’s wake, saying that if one wants to “be sober” and “can’t handle being around someone who drinks, then don’t do it.” Ah, yes. There’s the nice and sensitive Brandi Glanville we’ve grown not to love. View Slideshow: 20 Really Big Real Housewives Scandals Still, Brandi claims she’ll be there for Kim if her former The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills castmate falls into trouble down the line. “I hope [Kim] will [stay sober], but she doesn’t even know if she will,” the reality star told Von and Weiss. “She’s really at this point of saying ‘It’s day by day and I’m not going to make any promises to anyone else,’ and I think that is what she should’ve said the whole time.”

Nelly Furtado BUTCHERS Canadian National Anthem

Nelly Furtado may want to make like a bird right about now. She may want to just get up and fly away. The Canadian-born singer had the honor on Sunday night of singing her country's national anthem prior to the NBA All-Star game, walking up to midcourt, taking a microphone… and totally butchering her rendition of “Oh, Canada.” Remember Lady Gaga's Star-Spangled Banner performance at Super Bowl 50 the weekend before? This was just like that. Except the total opposite in how it was received by the viewing public. The artist chose to perform a far more melodic version of the song than most are used to, accompanied by a single flute throughout… which probably hurt her new more than it helped in the end. Those in attendance in Toronto cheered, of course, but those behind their computers did not. “O'Canada is an awesome song. No need to change the notes,” wrote one Twitter user, while another shared a photo of Klay Thompson’s ear bleeding and wrote that the shooting guard had just listed to Furtado sing. A local sports reporter, Erin Hawksworth, meanwhile, sadly summed up the feelings of many listeners by writing: “As a Canadian, I am embarrassed by what Nelly Furtado just did. Who signed off on that?” Ouch.  Better luck next time, Nelly. Take a listen and a listen to this wayward attempt at honoring her country below:

Drake Wants To Work With Adele And Do Her Laundry This Adele/Drake “Hello/Hotline Bling” remix needs to happen already before the 6 God starts stalking Adele because this ish is getting out of hand. Last week, the Brit chick said she’d be down for a duet and now Drake’s saying the same thing, except he’d do more than just a duet. He’d do Adele’s laundry. Via eTalk : “I’d do anything with Adele,” the 29-year-old rapper told media in Toronto Wednesday night. “I’d literally go to Adele’s house right now and do laundry for her.” Drake was back in his hometown for the third annual Toronto Raptors “Drake Night” at the ACC, an event designed to bring hype to the team with the help of its global ambassador. His love for the British singer comes in response to Adele’s recent suggestion they do a remix together. “I really want us to do an official remix. I love Drake. I love Drake so much,” she told etalk’s Danielle Graham in a North American exclusive interview that aired last Friday on CTV. It ain’t never that serious, Drake!

Woman Attacked By Angry Man After Her Scarf Was Mistaken For Muslim Hijab A Toronto woman’s efforts to stay bundled up this Winter ended up giving her a chilling glimpse into Islamophobia after she was assaulted by a man who mistook her scarf for a Muslim hijab according to City News . Kayla Gerber, a 24-year-old actress, had just left a rehearsal near Bloor and Bathurst streets on Monday when a man approached her as she walked. “He told me to take off my f****n hijab and get the f**k out of his country and he just kept repeating that over and over and over again, screaming at me while he had me pinned up against the wall,” she explained. Gerber, who isn’t Muslim, said she had wrapped her scarf around her head to keep her ears warm. “I remember saying to him that I’m not even wearing a hijab bro and he just kept shaking me and screaming at me to get out of his country and I’m like, ‘I’m not Muslim.’ ” “I would never think that someone could be so hateful because he didn’t know me, I didn’t know him, he doesn’t know my life.” Gerber posted about the incident on Facebook and was flooded with messages of support from around the world. “It’s so beautiful to see positivity come out of negativity,” she added. It’s the latest in a disturbing string of incidents in the Greater Toronto Area following the deadly terror attacks in Paris. On Friday police revealed that a minor is being sought for allegedly shoving and accosting two women wearing hijabs at Sherbourne subway station. On Monday, a Muslim woman was attacked by two men while picking up her child from Grenoble Public School in Flemingdon Park. SMH!!!!!!!!!!!!
