My name is Hailey, I’m 14 years old and I absolutely love Justin Bieber! On December 1st 2012 was when Justin came to Toronto for his Believe tour. I remember about 2 weeks before the concert there was a contest on BieberFever to win a meet and greet and all you had to do was take a picture of your Bieber merch. I took a picture of all of it and without me knowing the deadline to hand it in was November 18th, I handed it in on November 20th. I thought to myself, okay whatever I can’t clearly win it now. Then I got an email 24 hours prior to the concert saying that I won the contest! I literally could not believe it. It was the second most happiest moment of my life! The day came, I could finally say, “I’m meeting Justin Bieber.” I had 2 wristbands, for me and a friend. We’re waiting in the M&G line and it was taking so long. We were there for a good two and a half hours, totally worth it. The time came, we were next in line. Then I hear ‘next’ I was freaking out inside. I walked in and Justin was just standing there looking beautiful. So since you had to be with 4 other people, I had to walk a bit faster to get next to him, and I did. He smelt so good, omg. We took a picture and the other people left, they didn’t even talk to him, say thank you or give him a hug. It was strange. I was the only one who did. When I said, “Thank you so much Justin,” he winked very seductively at me. THAT was the best moment of my life. It was so sad to leave but I had to. We gave each other a hug and I walked out. I still cant get over it. I cant explain stuff really well, but my appreciation and dedication is above and beyond! My name is Mary and after 4 years of supporting Justin, My Bieber Experience finally happened on December 1st 2012 at the Rogers Centre in Toronto . I honestly never thought that meeting Justin was possible for me. On the 24th of May, @JustinsCrew held a Twitter Believe concert ticket giveaway. I doubted I would have ever been picked since so many people entered, but I tried anyways. A few hours later I got a tweet from them saying that I was one of the winners. I wasn’t expecting this at all and bursted into tears as I told my sister what just happened. The only thing that I can remember is that I kept repeating, “I’m going to see my inspiration perform. I’m going to see Justin perform live.” Since this was a once in a life time chance, my friends wanted to make the most of the experience for me and countless times tried trending #BiebsMeetMary . It trended #1 worldwide two times. I thought it wouldn’t happen. December 1st wasn’t going to be the day I met him I guess. Every trend that wasn’t noticed kept bringing my hopes down so I tried to figure out other ways I could meet Justin. No one got where I was coming from at this point and why I wanted to meet Justin so badly, but I was determined. A few months passed by, no answers yet. One afternoon I got a DM from @laurensfondue asking me when the Toronto show was and if I wanted to meet Justin. MEET JUSTIN?!?! WHAT?!? At this point I was shaking, crying and running all over the place. This was moving too fast for me to deal with but I was enjoying every second of it. Starting off with no tickets, to getting tickets, then to getting M&G’s. Finally, the big day came. I didn’t think it hit me yet at that time. I kept repeating the words, “You are meeting him” in my head but it still felt like this whole thing was a dream. I arrived alone at the Rogers Centre around 4 p.m., went straight to the box office to pick up my M&G wristband and ran into many amazing Twitter Beliebers. Since I went alone, these 3 amazing girls let me join their group. We were all anxious and excited. Luckily we started to move closer and closer to the curtain Justin was behind. As I was waiting in line I saw Kenny, Pattie, Diane and Bruce. I said hi to them all and they all said hi back. They looked really busy so I respected that and didn’t ask for a picture with them. Finally we were next. I paused at the curtain and just stood there looking at Justin as he looked at me, licked his lips and gestured his hands in a way like “Come in.” I put down the bag of notes that the other Beliebers wrote him and walked in . The men behind Justin pointed us to where we should stand and he was going to put me on the far left side but Justin said, “It’s fine. She can stand right beside me.” As I put my arm around him and he put his arm around me, he said, “Hey sweetheart.” I said “Hi, oh my god you are Justin….you are real.” (I was so out of it as you can tell) He let out a little laugh while saying, “Yes I am.” All I remember is smiling and the flash going off. It was time to leave but Justin didn’t let go so I was just standing there with my arm around him and his around mine. I didn’t want to be pushed out by security so I lowered my hands off of him and accidentally touched his….ass… yes his soft bouncy ass. I noticed my hand was on something fluffy then I noticed it was his butt and my hand was just chilling there. COULD THIS DAY GET ANY BETTER? I hugged him goodbye as I said, “Bye Justin, I love you” and he said “I love you too.” As I walked out of the curtained off area yelling, “I touched Justin’s ass.” Alfredo was standing right there with his camera and I went up to him and said “Hey Alfredo,” he smiled so HUGE and said “Hi” back. I headed straight to my seats, still in shock with what just happened. It finally hit me that I met the guy that helped me through the tough times with the inspiring music he makes and how he makes me smile. The concert was by far the most inspiring event to see. The South by Southwest (SXSW) Film Conference and Festival unveiled its lineup of 109 features including 69 world premieres Thursday. The festival, which overlaps with SXSW’s music and interactive programs, also includes 14 North American and five U.S. premieres. SXSW will screen eight films each in its Narrative Feature and Documentary Competitions.
