Might the manipulative, large-breasted roof soon get blown off DivorceGate? In the latest issue of Life & Style , William Humphries – the father of Kris Humphries and the very brief father-in-law of Kim Kardashian – says he’d “love to write a book” about the ordeal Kim and her family put his son through. “It’s important to him that Kris’ side of the story is out there,” a friend tells the tabloid . Humphries may not be entitled to any of Kim’s assets, due to a prenup, but no non-disclosure agreement was ever signed. He and/or his dad are free to dish and dish and dish and “Kris has told his father everything,” a source notes. William “has many stories to tell,” the magazine reports. Kris, of course, says he just wants to move forward and find a new NBA team. But we have a feeling this story is far from over.

‘Everytime’ falls out of tournament in round two, losing to ‘Lucky.’ By Vaughn Trudeau Schoonmaker Britney Spears in her video for “Lucky” Photo: Jive Round three is now open for voting in the Britney Spears Tournament: 30 Videos for 30 Years ! When polls closed Sunday night, we had narrowed the brackets down from the Sweet 16 to the Elite Eight, and some of the results were shocking! Four of the eight matchups in round two of the tournament remained neck-and-neck until the moments the polls closed. After holding the advantage for most of the second round, “Everytime,” which also happens to be Perez Hilton ‘s favorite Britney Spears video, fell out of the tournament, losing to Britney’s diva alter ego in “Lucky.” Two of Britney’s most dance-heavy videos, “(You Drive Me) Crazy” and “Me Against the Music,” were back and forth with each other for most of the round before Madonna and Britney’s hit lunged forward and sent green-tube-top Britney out of the tournament with less than 1 percent more of the votes. Head over to Britney30.MTV.com and vote for your favorite music video in MTV News’ Britney Spears Tournament: 30 Videos for 30 Years. Round three will see “Stronger” take on “Criminal” in a pairing that many thought would be “Oops! … I Did It Again” vs. “… Baby One More Time.” Of Britney’s three VMA-winning videos that remained in round two, only her most recent win, “Till the World Ends,” will move forward to battle it out with “Lucky.” Round three will also see two of Britney’s most iconic videos, “Toxic” and “I’m a Slave 4 U,” go up against each other; only one of them will make it to the Final Four. Round three is open for voting until Tuesday, November 29, at 11:59 p.m. The final four will be announced and open for voting on the morning of Wednesday, November 30. Blogger can’t believe ‘Criminal’ is pulling ahead of one of his faves in MTV News’ Britney Spears Tournament: 30 Videos for 30 Years. By Vaughn Trudeau Schoonmaker Britney Spears in her music video for “I Wanna Go” Photo: Jive The first round of the Britney Spears Tournament: 30 Videos for 30 Years is well under way, and we asked celebrity blogger and Britney mega-fan Perez Hilton to weigh in on some of the closest competitions in the tournament: “Sometimes” vs. “My Prerogative” While “Sometimes” — as one of Britney’s oldest videos — holds a special place in the hearts of her fans, Perez thinks “My Prerogative” has the advantage in this matchup. “In terms of video-making, spectacle, big grandiosity, ‘My Prerogative’ feels like a much larger to-do,” Perez said. “If I was to pick a winner between these two, I would go with ‘My Prerogative.’ ” “Lucky” vs. “Boys” “I am not a fan of the ‘Boys’ music video,” Perez admitted of the clip, featuring Pharrell Williams and Mike Myers as Austin Powers. “To me, the competition between that and ‘Lucky’ is easy. ‘Lucky’ all the way. “It’s such a classic Britney video,” Perez said about the clip, featuring Britney’s movie-star alter-ego (in the pre-“Crossroads” world). “She looks so beautiful in it! It’s from the golden era of Britney — those first few years where she was pretty much untouchable.” “I Wanna Go” vs. “Criminal” Perez echoed other Britney experts’ surprise that Britney’s latest video, “Criminal,” is significantly pulling ahead of “I Wanna Go.” “I think that ‘I Wanna Go’ is one of Britney’s all-time best videos,” Perez said. “She looked amazing in it, it’s fun, it feels different for her, and she had never done a video quite like that before.” As for “Criminal,” Perez shook his head. “I like the ‘Criminal’ video; I don’t love it. I was also distracted and slightly unhappy with the casting of her boyfriend [Jason Trawick] in it.” What’s your favorite Britney video? Serena Williams’ outburst in the women’s championship match was the talk of the U.S. Open Sunday, and the tennis star could dace further consequences yet. Williams was docked a point early in the second set against Samantha Stosur – who won 6-2, 6-3 – after shouting “Come on!!!” as encouragement to herself. That’s typically standard, but because she yelled before the point was over, she was penalized … and then LOST IT at the umpire for evoking the “hindrance rule.” Watch Williams’ U.S. Open outburst here: Serena Williams U.S. Open Outburst “If you ever see me walking down the hall, look the other way because you’re out of control,” Serena said. “You’re a hater and you’re unattractive inside.” It is worth noting that Williams, who infamously lost a match by virtue of a pair of code violations in her 2009 semifinal meltdown , did not use any profanity. Nevertheless, she ranted to the point where a referee will pass along the findings of the investigation to the Tournament Grand Slam Committee. That board will decide what discipline, if any, is appropriate. Fines are all but a given; Worst case is she could be banned from future tournaments. Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal play for the men’s title today at 4 p.m. UPDATE : Officials just fined Serena $2,000 for the outburst, deeming that “Williams’ conduct … does not rise to the level of a major offense.” Evidently not. Her runner-up prize? $1.4 million. So that’s that.
Olivia Munn doing a cheesy staged bikini photoshoot in Puerto Rico over the weekend. Why was she in Puerto Rico, you ask? To participate in the Annual Hollywood Domino Gala Tournament of course. Hmmm, interesting. How do you say “Dancing with the Stars appearance in two years, leaked tape in four, full in six” in Spanish?

Find out the winner during MTV News’ live stream at the ‘Deathly Hallows, Part 2′ red carpet, starting at 4:30 p.m. ET. By Eric Ditzian Alan Rickman as Professor Snape Photo: Warner Bros. In the beginning, there were 64 wizards, witches, elves and ghosts. Each one had been thrown into a cutthroat online tournament, decided by the public and subject to the passions and prejudices of die-hard fans, all to come up with the definitive answer to the question: Who is the greatest “Harry Potter” character of all time? Now that fantastical conundrum is down to just two people: potions master Severus Snape and Gryffindor great Ron Weasley. As of this writing, the two wizards are locked in the heated final match of MTV News’ “Harry Potter” World Cup . Voting is still going on, and the winner will be announced on Monday evening (July 11) during our live stream of the New York red-carpet premiere of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2,” which begins at 4:30 p.m. ET. It’s a remarkable feat that both men are left standing, considering that over 7 million votes have been cast throughout the four weeks of the tournament. Who would have guessed that Harry Potter himself would get chucked from the tournament in the Elite Eight, a victim of Snape’s fanbase and his remarkable character arc? Big bad Lord Voldemort didn’t even make it that far, losing in the third round to onetime Azkaban prisoner Sirius Black! And Cedric Diggory, hardly a first-tier character, was nonetheless thought to be a potential Cinderella story (given that Robert Pattison portrayed him onscreen). Yet “Potter” fans appeared to unite and overwhelm the “Twilight” set , sending Cedric to a third-round ouster. After upsets, crushing defeats and overwhelming victories, the Final Four fell into place late last week: Snape vs. Hogwarts witch Hermione Granger , and Ron Weasley vs. Black . Hermione may have been the smartest witch of her age and Ron’s cherished gal pal, but none of that was enough to vanquish Snape — the man who killed Dumbledore but is ultimately redeemed by the series’ end. Snape ended up with 62.7 percent of the vote, compared to Hermione’s 37.3 percent. The competition between Ron and Black was much closer. One wizard is Harry’s best friend; the other was Harry’s dad’s best friend. And in the end, barely one percentage point separated the two characters, with Ron ultimately surging forward for the win. So where does that leave us in the final matchup? Snape obviously has the momentum, given his commanding victory over Hermione. Ron has got to be looked at as weakened, considering how he barely survived his Final Four matchup. But he’s the last of the Big Three still alive, and fans of Hermione could well shift their allegiances to Ron. Anything can happen, though Rupert Grint, who plays Ron , isn’t holding out much hope. When we caught up with the actor on Sunday, before the finals had been solidified, he expressed skepticism that Ron could ever defeat Snape. “I don’t think I could do that — I mean, Snape is a great character,” he laughed. Band faces a tough Elite 8 challenge against defending champs Coheed and Cambria. By James Montgomery Disturbed’s David Draiman Photo: C Brandon/ Redferns When MTV tipped off our Musical March Madness tournament three weeks ago, 64 bands stood on the precipice of greatness … though, to be honest, one of them seemed to face a tougher challenge than all the rest. Chicago shredders Disturbed, who were stuck with a #9 seed, were pitted against the heavily favored Dave Matthews Band in the opening round and basically left for dead. But Disturbed refused to die. They knocked off DMB in convincing fashion, then, in one of the tournament’s most eye-opening victories, ripped #1 seed Foo Fighters to reach the Sweet 16 . That win served notice to the rest of the MMM bands that Disturbed were a force to be reckoned with, and they backed up that newfound clout with a thorough throttling of Patrick Stump to reach the Elite 8 .
