Kate Gosselin Reports For Work at CouponCabin

Going broke without the money train that was Kate Plus 8 funding her lifestyle and ego, Kate Gosselin has been forced to enter the workplace like a normal person. Fortunately, she got a gig in a field she feels passionately about. The reality TV mom of eight reported for her first day at CouponCabin, a web-based discount company, Thursday. She’ll serve as a contributing blogger/manager. Drawing upon her experience of clipping coupons like a madwoman, Kate Gosselin will now be giving online readers money-saving advice and shopping tips. Kate Gosselin met with the CouponCabin team to “discuss creating exclusive coupons, blog ideas and money lessons that Kate has learned over the years.” Kate’s first penny-pinching blog will run on Tuesday, November 22 and will feature tips on how to navigate the busiest holiday shopping day, Black Friday. She may not be the best mom ever (who lets their kids play under the car ), but at least Kate is doing what she has to do to make a living and save ends. [Photo: WENN.com]

‘Snow White And The Huntsman’ Trailer: 5 Key Scenes

Kristen Stewart is ‘fairest of them all’ and kicking serious butt in new sneak peek. By Kara Warner Kristen Stewart in “Snow White and The Huntsman” Photo: Universal With most of our Kristen Stewart focus zeroed in on a little movie called “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1,” which opens next week, she has an equally intriguing film coming down the pike this summer — “Snow White and the Huntsman” — the trailer for which was unveiled Thursday (November 10) by Apple . No matter what you might have been expecting, given Stewart’s comments about the film or production photos that were released, this trailer is a doozy and completely delivers on the intense, warrior-esque elements that have been teased. Here are our five favorite scenes: 1. Charlize Theron Kills It as the Evil Queen From the second you hear her eerily intense and foreboding voice, to the shots of her mindless murders, to the last shot of the trailer — in which she swoops her exquisite black cloak about her and it turns into a flock of crows — Theron delivers in every sense of the word. It’s going to be fun to watch her Queen and Stewart’s Snow White go toe-to-toe! 2. The Mirror on the Wall Most of us are familiar with the classic fairy tale upon which this film is based, and while the Mirror is indeed an important part of the story, it can come off a bit campy, depending on the visual effects used to design it. This mirror is just so cool/creepy! When summoned by the Queen via that famous phrase — “Mirror mirror, on wall, who’s the fairest of them all?” — the mirror seems to melt into a puddle of bronze liquid on the floor and then reshapes itself into a hooded, appropriately deep-voiced figure. 3. Stewart Looking Fierce and Kicking Butt We had a pretty good idea Stewart’s version of the “fairest of them all” would be different, based on the photo of her in fancy armor and holding a sword, and now, we have even more proof that Stewart’s Snow White is pretty badass. Never does she look innocent or weak, whether on the run, defending herself in armor or confronting a fearsome, growling beast. 4. Chris Hemsworth Is a Perfect Huntsman “Find me someone who doesn’t fear the dark forest to hunt her down,” the Queen commands, her voice heard over our first glimpse of Chris Hemsworth as the Huntsman, wielding an ax and fighting in the forest, which is followed by several other shots of Hemsworth in action, getting down and dirty in battle. It’s a perfect deviation from that pretty-boy Asgardian prince Thor, if we do say so ourselves. 5. Brief Glimpses of the Supporting Players Even though the title of the film is “Snow White and the Huntsman,” there are plenty more players in the mix of this fractured fairy tale. Specifically our brief glimpses of Prince Charming, played by “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” star Sam Claflin, who we see both in battle and leaning down to kiss Snow White. Then there are the eight dwarves. Eight, not seven, according to what Stewart revealed to Jay Leno recently, whom we only see for extremely brief moments in the trailer, first walking together, single-file, on the top of a rolling hill, then following behind the Huntsman. Check out everything we’ve got on “Snow White and the Huntsman.” For young Hollywood news, fashion and “Twilight” updates around the clock, visit HollywoodCrush.MTV.com .

REVIEW: Lars von Trier’s Melancholia Offers a Glorious Peep into the Sugar Easter Egg of Doom

Lars von Trier’s Melancholia is neither the provocation nor the yowl of anguish that his last picture, Antichrist , was. For those reasons, it’s less effective and also far less of a workout: Antichrist was the first von Trier movie I genuinely loved, after a decade’s worth of railing against the sufferdome atmosphere of pictures like Dogville , Dancer in the Dark , and even the mildly bearable Breaking the Waves . Antichrist stunned and upset me, but it also filled me with compassion toward the man who made it, a feeling I’d never imagined I could have. The gift of Antichrist — with its horrific depictions of emotional suffering, its wailing-wind subtext of “Nature is everywhere, inside you and outside, and it is not your friend” — was that von Trier had surprised me. That is a critic’s greatest pleasure — or at least it’s mine.

VIDEO: Al Pacino’s Razzie Campaign Begins With This Jack and Jill Scene

When you first wept through the Jack and Jill trailer , you probably figured that Al Pacino’s role as Al Pacino would just be a brief cameo. He falls for Adam Sandler in drag at a Lakers game and sends her a hot dog with his phone number squirted in mustard. Classic meat cute! Judging by a few new clips from the Razzie front runner though, Al Pacino co-stars in multiple scenes as Jill’s overeager love interest.

Journey 2: The Mysterious Island Trailer: One of These Things Is Not Like the Other

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson joking about the Titanic. Luiz Guzman flying a helicopter while wearing a mini guitar. Future Hunger Games star Josh Hutcherson and Vanessa Hudgens riding a giant flying bumblebee. Michael Caine. If you chose “Michael Caine” as the thing that does not make sense in the trailer for Brad Peyton’s 3-D Journey to the Center of the Earth sequel, you would be correct. Ahead though, to over-sized vomiting insects, over-serious line readings and Oscar winner Michael Caine!

Michael Lohan: Cooling His Ass in Solitary, Trying to Call Kim Granatelle Collect

Michael Lohan is still cooling his rear end in solitary confinement in a Florida jail after being denied bail last weekend, but he has been allowed to make calls. Collect calls. Which people apparently don’t answer. A recording of a call he attempted to place to one of his many flames – Kim Granatelle, from The Real Housewives of New Jersey – was obtained this morning. Michael Lohan Collect Call She didn’t actually answer the phone and let the call go to her voicemail. Probably wise. Mike is in solitary for his repeated harassment of ex Kate Major. “Kim has spoken with Michael who told her he was in a lot of pain,” said Kim’s friend , Tom Murro, who shared the recording (hopefully with her knowledge). Keep in mind that he’s in pain from jumping off a balcony and landing in a freaking tree while attempting to avoid the cops. Not prime sympathy material. In an ironic twist, Michael and daughter Lindsay Lohan may be in jail at the same time, albeit on different coasts. LiLo must turn herself in by next week. She’ll likely get sprung faster , however, since she has better lawyers. And isn’t charged with injuring or threatening to kill someone, or resisting arrest.

Selena Gomez Granted Extended Restraining Order Against Stalker, LAPD Confirms Threat

While Justin Bieber fights off questions about Mariah Yeater , his unlikely 30-second-stand/baby mama, the singer’s actual girlfriend was in court this week, dealing with a far more serious problem. Gomez had her restraining order extended today against Thomas Brodnicki, the nut job in custody on federal stalking charges for making repeated threats against the singer. As part of this morning’s hearing, Detective Jose Viramontes swore in a declaration that he interviewed Brodnicki, and the man “reiterated that he had many conversations with God about killing Ms. Gomez.” In conclusion, Viramontes stated before a judge that the stalker poses a “credible, serious threat” to Gomez. Brodnicki pled not guilty to felony criminal stalking yesterday. We’ll keep fans apprised of this scary story as more news breaks. Stay safe, Selena. [Photo: WENN.com]

Wanderlust Trailer: Jennifer Aniston and Paul Rudd Live on a Commune

With her turn in Horrible Bosses earlier this year, Jennifer Aniston likely made a lot of people reevaluate the American sweetheart/mediocre romantic comedy persona she’s cultivated (or been burdened by) over the years. Wanderlust further helps her break that mold in hilarious fashion. Jen and Paul Rudd play a couple who exit the city and take refuge in the country within a community that is … shall we say, socially liberal. Watch the trailer: Wanderlust Trailer Their new community/commune home is filled with people who embrace a free-spirited mentality when it comes to jobs, relationships, clothes … you name it. Produced by Judd Apatow, Wanderlust is also notable as the film where Jen met Justin Theroux, who co-stars in the film and is now her live-in boyfriend. It comes out February 24.
