Kim Kardashian Jokes About Caitlyn Jenner’s Age On Her Birthday While many folks are still trying to learn the ins-and-outs of political correctness when it comes to the transgender community, one has to expect that some jokes will told in an effort to remove some of the tension surrounding the ignorance. Today is Caitlyn Jenner’s 66th birthday and also her very first birth at the same damn time. Being the Caitlyn was born Bruce, this is the first time that she’s blown out the candles as a woman. Caitlyn’s stepdaughter, Kim Kardashian, made note of this through a lil jokey joke she made on the ‘gram. The rumor of I Am Cait Season 2 has turned into a confirmed reality. A month after word leaked that E! had picked up the series for a second season, the star herself has come out and issued a statement. I Am Cait debuted in July to 3.9 million viewers, but that figure dropped by 700,000 households after just one episode. While ratings failed to match those of Keeping Up with the Kardashians , though, Caitlyn has only seen her national profile gain momentum over the past several months. She just signed on, in fact, for a five-city motivational speaking tour . “Caitlyn’s story has ignited a global conversation on the transgender community on a scale that has never been seen before,” said E! EVP, programming and development, Jeff Olde. “We are honored Caitlyn has chosen to continue to share her ongoing evolution with our viewers around the world.” Jenner, of course, came out as a woman in an interview with Diane Sawyer in late April and then in a subsequent Vanity Fair photo spread. She is considered a trendsetter and a role model in the LGBT community. No word yet on when new episodes of I Am Cait will air, but original word said the series would return some time this spring. Caitlyn Jenner may soon be coming to a city near you. No, the former Olympian is not about to embark on a singing career. But she will be getting behind a microphone. A rep for the transgender star has confirmed that will be embarking on a five-stop speaking tour in 2016 with an organization titled “Unique Lives and Experiences.” Not many details are available regarding the theme of Jenner’s upcoming speeches. But it’s safe to assume she’ll touch on many of the same themes we applauded her for in the Caitlyn Jenner ESPYs speech . Acceptance. Tolerance. Self-confidence. Self-belief. Jenner, of course, came out as a woman in an interview this April with Diane Sawyer. She then went on to chronicle her life in transition during I Am Cait , an eight-episode reality show on E! that has been picked up for a second season. The title of Jenner’s lecture will be “Up Close and Personal” and her mini tour is scheduled to place in Toronto, Vancouver, Denver, San Francisco and Seattle beginning in late February. Tickets are already on sale, ranging from $40 to $500 for a VIP package, depending on the location. Back when she was known as Bruce Jenner, after she won a Gold Medal in 1976, Jenner spent many years on the inspirational speaking circuit. Kanye West grew emotional at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards. No, not like Justin Bieber . No one questioned whether the rapper fake cried at any point during his speech to accept the Video Vanguard Award. But Kanye did stand for many moments (after being introduced by Taylor Swift !) in order to soak in the staring ovation that came his way on Sunday night. West kicked off his speech by saying “Bro. Bro!” before explaining how having a daughter with Kim Kardashian has changed him. “I will die for the art, for the art I believe in, and the art ain't always gonna be polite,” West went on to say, adding: “I know y'all might be thinking, 'Did he smoke something before he came out here? And the answer is yes, I did roll a little something.” Kanye then dropped the Donald Trump-esque bombshell: “I have decided in 2020 to run for president.” Is he serious? You never really know with West, do you?
We know what everyone was thinking heading into the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards: No way could Miley Cyrus top her insane performance from 2013 ? As host, however, Miley joked; she danced; she dissed Justin Bieber; she gave props to Kim Kardashian ; and she left us with endless, memorable impressions. To wit… 1. She Took Us Behind the Scenes Via this pretty cool video-based selfie as host. 2. She Arrived in This Heck, it almost seems conversative based on our expectations. 3. She Bashed Bieber Not too hard, but Miley did say (sarcastically) that she likes Justin’s new “swoop” hairstyle. 4. Oops! Sorry! Miley apologizes for her “tit” being out upon flashing the audience. But why do we doubt she was really sorry? 5. Go Kimye! After endorsing a certain rapper for President in 2020, Miley quipped: “Kanye West and I have one thing in common. We both love Kim Kardashian. I Am Cait Season 1 Episode 6 aired Sunday, and this week, Caitlyn Jenner fans learned a lot more about her friend and confidant, Candis Cayne. For weeks, we’ve heard talk of Caitlyn Jenner and Candis Cayne dating. While that talk is, by all accounts, false, we do sort of get it now. She’s great. And their relationship is outstanding. More than anyone, the transgender actress has been Caitlyn’s rock throughout her transition, and I Am Cait Season 1 Episode 6 was no different. She’s supporting and loving Cait for exactly who she is, but like any real friend, is also not afraid to ask the tough questions or push her a bit as well. Going out of one’s comfort zone can mean deep soul searching introspectively, or it can just mean getting out and experiencing trans nightlife . Or discussing dating in the trans community. The conversation of sexual identity and wondering is Caitlyn Jenner gay is a tough one. Candis is determined not to put any labels on such things. Candis believes Caitlyn is attracted to women but … “your sexuality and your gender are two completely different things … and it’s no one’s business.” Cayne also reveals that she’s a survivor of domestic violence, and sometimes severe domestic violence. Currently, she’s single … and giving up? “I just don’t think it’s ever going to happen in the love department,” she laments, and while we doubt that’s true, herein lies what makes her great: Candis is a human being with real struggles we can relate to even if we don’t know what it’s like to be trans, and her attitude is earnest and uplifting. Now it’s Caitlyn’s turn to lift up her friend, though, and she invites her Cait to a camp designed for trans youth. Turns out to be the perfect move. The camp offers an escape for a world that looks at them as outsiders, but just as significantly, lets them focus on being them and just have fun. “Being around friends is really nice when you haven’t been around friends for most of your life,” one of the campers says in a touching moment. The Game’s Ex-Girlfriend India Love And Sisters Get BET Reality Show IG model and former girlfriend of rapper The Game, India ‘Love’ Westbrooks , and her 4 sister have landed a new reality show on BET. Will these ladies be the new Kardashians ?? Via The Hollywood Fix : The family made an appearance at the ‘Celebrity Basketball Game For Peace’ which was presented by World Peace Now Forever. This was also the first public announcement that they will be starring in a new reality series The Westbrooks which will air on BET Network. We spoke with the Executive Producer of the show and he told us the show will be premiering this October after Being Mary Jane. Notably the most well-known of the group, India, looked stunning as usual wearing a white and grey striped halter top that left her back exposed, white high-waist pants and white sneakers with gold studs. The 19-year-old model and social media star’s dark brown hair was worn down in a long and wavy style. Her older sister Crystal also looked very cute and stylish for the appearance wearing a green sleeveless crop-top, bell bottom blue jeans and a tan bohemian inspired sweater. Her long curly brown hair was styled flipped over to one side. She accessorized with a large bronze statement choker necklace and hoop earrings. The Westbrook sisters are known for being one of the most famous families on social media right now. They first came up with the idea to have their own reality show based around their family and put several episodes on YouTube. The show began to grow and eventually blossomed into their brand new BET reality show. She was first rumored to be dating LA rapper The Game after they both dropped several subtle hints about one another via social media. The two were spotted out in public on dates together and last year she professed her love to him through a tweet that said “I love him in real life. you love him on Instagram” featuring a picture of her then boo. They since have reportedly stopped dating and the rumor now is that she is now dating the rapper Soulja Boy, however India has yet to publicly address the reports. Her sister Crystal has also recently been linked to dating Drake as they were spotted spending time together at Coachella festival this year. Did Bill Burr go too far during an appearance on Conan Thursday night? The comedian stopped by the talk show and addressed his friend Caitlyn Jenner, wondering why her transition from male to female has been such a big deal. “There’s like baby seals washing up on the beach because there’s no fish left and they’re talking to this lady, you know?” Burr said of the media. “Like, ‘So Bruce, can your Olympic back handle a D-cup or are you going to go with like something a little more perky?’ I’m not saying that in any bad way, I’m just saying.” Jenner, of course, has sent some very important message to the transgender community about acceptance and self-confidence, most notably in his widely-praised ESPYs speech . And many critics on Twitter are criticizing Burr for making light of issues that really do affect transgender individuals. Burr also railed against that horrible show my wife watched where Jenner “just walks around in the background,” a pretty great reference to Keeping up With The Kardashians .
