Transgender Woman Blames Male Alter Ego For Murders Of 3 Prostitutes Via NYDailyNews A transgender woman accused of killing three prostitutes in 1990 says it wasn’t her who killed them but her violent male alter ego, Douglas. The head-spinning defense given by Donna Perry of Spokane, Wash., comes after her arrest in the shooting deaths of Yolanda Sapp, Kathleen Brisbois and Nickie Lowe, whose bodies were found naked along the Spokane River. The 62-year-old, who underwent gender reassignment surgery in 2000, allegedly told police in 2012 that her decision to change from Douglas to Donna was done in part “as a permanent way to control violence,” KXLY reported. Despite being linked to the murders through DNA evidence, according to an arrest affidavit, Perry has argued her innocence. In an interview with detectives in 2012, she allegedly said that she didn’t know what Douglas Perry may have done. “I’m not going to admit I killed anybody, I didn’t. Donna has killed nobody,” she said. This bish cray. She argues Douglas Perry is an entirely different person and the crimes were been committed 20 years ago — too long for her to remember. When detectives asked her why the murders stopped, she allegedly replied: “Douglas didn’t stop. Donna stopped it.” Adding to the confusion, during her bond hearing on Tuesday, her defense attorney claimed she was unable to meet with with the defendant because jailhouse records have her listed as Douglas Perry. “They say she’s not here because they have her listed under her prior name,” defense attorney Anna Nordtvedt said, according to Spokesman.com. Transgender discrimination is real in the field… Even for elementary school kids! Just last week parents in Massachusetts were mad over trans kids being able to use any bathroom they want. But these parents are fighting to make sure their kid is treated like any other little girl. Via ABCNews Reports : Coy Mathis, born a male triplet, has behaved like a girl since she was 18 months old. When her brother Max was consumed with dinosaurs, she was playing with Barbie dolls. By 4, she was telling her mother that something was wrong with her body. When Coy began complaining about “something wrong” with her body, her parents took her to a specialist, who diagnosed gender identity disorder. Doctors recommended no immediate medical intervention but to let her “live as a girl,” he explained. “They spoke to the school and they said, ‘fine.’” Since being enrolled at Eagle Elementary School in Fountain, Colo., the 6-year-old has presented as female and wearing girls’ clothing. Her classmates and teachers have used female pronouns to refer to her, and she has used the girls’ bathrooms. But since December, school officials have told her parents she can no longer use the female facilities and ordered her to use the boys’ or nurse’s bathroom. “We want Coy to have the same educational opportunities as every other Colorado student,” said Kathryn Mathis, Coy’s mother. “Her school should not be singling her out for mistreatment just because she is transgender.” Now Jeremy and Kathryn Mathis, with the help of the Transgender Legal and Defense Education Fund (TLDEF), have filed a complaint with the Colorado Civil Rights Division on behalf of Coy, alleging that the school has violated her rights. Since Christmas vacation, Coy has been homeschooled. “Our eye is focused on getting Coy back into school,” said TLDEF’s executive director Michael Silverman. “We are hopeful we can resolve this quickly for Coy’s sake.” The Mathis family and their supporters gathered at the State House in Denver Wednesday to bring media attention their action against the school. “The parents of Coy Mathis … have chosen to publicize this matter by appearing on a nationally televised show with their child, sharing their point of view with national and local media, and holding a public press conference to announce the filing of the charge,” the Fountain School District said in a prepared statement. “The district firmly believes it has acted reasonably and fairly with respect to this issue,” it said. “However [it] believes the appropriate and proper forum for discussing the issues identified in the charge is through the Division of Civil Rights process.” The school district said it would not comment further until they have formally responded to the charge. But a Dec. 12 letter from the school’s lawyers to TLDEF said, “The district’s decision took into account not only Coy but other students in the building, their parents, and the future impact a boy with male genitals using a girls’ bathroom would have as Coy grew older.” While other students and teachers do not notice that Coy has male genitals, the school said it feared as the child developed parents and students would become “uncomfortable.” “…It would be far more psychologically damaging and disruptive for the issue to arise at an age when students deal with social issues,” the letter said. The Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act prohibits discrimination against transgender students in public schools. Coy’s parents worry that the school’s policy is setting their child up for stigma and bullying. “We have five children and we love them all very much,” said Kathryn Mathis. “We want Coy to return to school to be with her teachers, her friends, and her siblings, but we are afraid to send her back until we know that the school is going to treat her fairly. She is still just 6 years old, and we do not want one of our daughter’s earliest experiences to be our community telling her she’s not good enough.” The Mathis’ have a set of triplets and two other children, Dakota, 8, and Auri, 2. The father, Jeremy Mathis, 31, is a former Marine who was honorably discharged with injuries. Kathryn Mathis, 27, is a certified nurse assistant and takes care of Coy’s triplet, Lily who has been severely disabled since a viral infection after birth. She must be fed through an IV and is quadriplegic. It sounds like this family has a lot to contend with and we’re not sure why the school needs to get all into details about Coy’s “male genitals” being that girls bathrooms have stalls anyway! Turns out Mama June ain’t the only reality TV chubby lumpkins who has been losing weight. Via People reports : The former Dancing with the Stars contestant, 43, has already dropped 43 lbs. since announcing his public mission to lose 50 lbs. beginning in mid-November. He’s now upped his goal to dropping a total of 80 lbs. “I’ve been sticking to a really strict diet,” he tells PEOPLE. “It’s not any type of starvation thing. I’m just cutting out a lot of stuff and eating primarily protein and vegetables and fruit.” Bono, who weighed 250 lbs. pre-diet, first addressed his goal publicly with Dr. Travis Stork on an episode of The Doctors, after being approached by the show to get help. “That episode was the most uncomfortable I’ve ever been on television in my life,” Bono admits. “I had been wanting to lose weight. It was something I had been trying to do and failing at. This opportunity just kind of came in, and my initial reaction was ‘absolutely not.’ And after that, the more I thought about it, I realized I’ve been wanting to deal with this issue and somebody’s willing to help me do it, so I decided to throw my pride away and get help.” The initial weight-loss process actually wasn’t too challenging. He shed the pounds with the help of exercise and the Freshology delivered-meal plan. “It hasn’t been that long, but when you’re a guy and you’ve got a lot of weight to lose, the initial stuff comes off pretty easily,” says Bono, who’ll return to The Doctors Wednesday to show off his weight loss. (check local listings). “You start to see results and you want to keep going. It’s not to say you don’t have cravings sometimes, but I’m very happy with how I’m looking and feeling. Especially when I’m traveling or I have to go out to eat or whatever, it’s actually kind of easier than I thought to [eat healthy], so that’s been good.” But now, the pounds aren’t coming off as easily. “It’s getting harder,” he explains. “I’m just kind of at a little plateau right now, which I think is pretty normal, according to my doctor. The weight was falling off at first, and now it’s just coming off slower. The smaller you are, the harder it is to lose weight. The last 10 or 20 lbs. are really hard to get off. I would like to lose more than that. I’m still dropping, but I’m just not dropping like I was in the beginning, which was about 4 lbs. a week.” Despite the lull in his weight loss, Bono is continuing along strong with his journey. “There haven’t really been any bad parts to this so far, except certain stuff that I miss eating,” he says. “But ultimately, I would much rather look and feel better than eat those things. Everything else has been really great. I feel better and when I look in the mirror, I like what I see better.” But when it comes to offering guidance to others going through the same thing, Bono will steer clear. “I don’t want to ever be that guy [to give advice],” he says. “I’ve struggled with weight my whole life. I don’t ever want to be the guy to say, ‘Just do this.’ For me, it was finally getting to a place where I was willing to do whatever it took to deal with this. When you get to that point, then whatever way you choose to do it, it’s going to work.” And Bono is adamant about keeping it off. “I’m willing to kind of never eat the things I like again,” he said with a laugh. “Never say never, and I know it happens a lot, but I really want to do everything I can to avoid gaining it back. I’m not going into it thinking I’m going to do that. I’m going into it thinking I’m too old to [expletive] around with that. I need to keep my weight down, moving forward, in order to be healthy. SIMPSON’s bizarre behavior has some of his close friends worried that the former football great has gone gay! “I don’t know what’s happened to O.J.,” an insider told The ENQUIRER. “He used to be Mr. Macho – a diehard ladies’ man. He preferred the really fine sexy blondes, but being surrounded by only men has changed him. “Now O.J. has way too much interest in guys, and he likes to show off his body to the hardened felons when they exercise in the prison yard. He’s doesn’t even talk about women, just about guys. “It doesn’t sound to me like he’s straight anymore!” Once a notorious skirt-chaser, Simpson was convicted in 2008 for robbing memorabilia dealers at gunpoint the year before. Not long after the conviction, the 65-year-old gridiron great was sent to Lovelock Correctional Center in Nevada to serve a 9- to 33-year prison sentence. He isn’t eligible for parole until 2017. He says the former ladies’ man hangs out with a group of openly gay men known as “The Girls.” “WHENEVER HE’S LET out into the prison yard, he stays with them,” revealed the insider. “He says, ‘The Girls treat me like I was a king!’ “He claims they flirt with him and even give him massages. Some even call him ‘DJ’ – short for ‘Daddy Juice.’ ” O.J. has used “The Girls” as his personal posse for years now, added the insider. “He says he has even gifted a few of the ‘girls’ with candy bars, sodas and toiletries from the prison canteen,” continued the insider. “I’ve asked O.J. why he doesn’t talk about women anymore, but he just laughs it off. He says, ‘Man, what do you think I am? You’ve known me for many years. C’mon, get off all this. There ain’t no women in here! Of course I talk about guys. He has to be the center of attention wherever he is, and in prison he still plays that game. Fans Question If “Love And Hip-Hop Atlanta” Cast Member Joseline Hernandez Is Transgender If you are anything like us, if you were watching the premiere of “Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta” last night you probably had more than a few questions about Stevie J’s “artist” Joseline, who calls him Daddy, likes to rock bandanas around her head and speaks with a mangled countrified Spanish accent. The first episode got right to the drama, with Stevie J getting caught out there with Joseline after a mutual friend tells longtime girlfriend Mimi that she’s met Stevie’s girl Joseline and she’s a real “ride or die” chick. In too many “this can’t be real” reality tv moments, Joseline claims Stevie “f***s my brain,” taunts Mimi for being “emotional” and chides Stevie J for messing up her “fur I bought at Neiman Marcus.” Personally, we were a little taken aback that Stevie’s girlfriend even agreed to do the show, because it’s only the first episode and she already looks more played out than the original long suffering “Love & Hip-Hop” babymama — Emily B!
