2-Year-Old Dead From Severe Head Trauma Allegedly Inflicted By Her 10-Year-Old Cousin This story is crazy! A 10-year-old boy was arrested this week and charged with aggravated manslaughter in the June death of his 2-year-old cousin Journee Blyden. Blyden was initially taken to the hospital on June 21 for severe head trauma and detectives were told she’d been injured falling from a playpen. She died several days later and after further investigation, detectives learned that the girl’s injuries were caused by her 10-year-old cousin while she was left with him unsupervised. According to PIX11 reports During the investigation, a juvenile witness told detectives that the boy physically abused her and Journee when the three were left unsupervised. When the 10-year-old boy was asked about this witness’s information, deputies said the boy told detectives that he was running while holding Journee and then fell on the kitchen floor, injuring her. The boy then said he put her on the counter and “accidentally” pushed her off the counter top. The Medical Examiner concluded that Journee’s injuries were not consistent with what the boy said happened and ruled the girl’s death a homicide, saying her injuries would have taken excessive force. “This situation was developed through the evidence, and through a very thorough investigation, we developed all of the evidence,” Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Lauren Lettelier said. “And with our State Attorney’s Office, they were able to collectively come together and decide that these charges were appropriate in this case.” SMH. Crazy… The boy was set to see a judge Thursday and he is currently in juvenile jail in Marion County. Ironically the victim’s father Kendall Blyden is set to go trial this week for the murder of a 1-year-old child left in his care in 2014. He was accused of making up a similar story, claiming that child fell from a crib.
Organization Decides To Be On The Right Side Of Colin Kaepernick’s Protest After Colin Kaepernick took a seat during the national anthem, there were many wondered how the San Francisco 49ers would handle the “distraction.” As it turns out, they’re going to handle it by supporting Kap and putting their money where their mouth is. NFL.com is reporting the 49ers will make a contribution to community groups in the area that “work against social inequality.” via NFL.com The San Francisco 49ers have donated $1 million to a pair of Bay Area community groups that work against social inequality, the team announced Thursday. Niners CEO Jed York made detailed the 49ers’ donation in a statement: “Today, I am committing that the 49ers Foundation will contribute $1 million to the cause of improving racial and economic inequality and fostering communication and collaboration between law enforcement and the communities they serve here in the Bay Area. “We are partnering with the Silicon Valley Community Foundation and the San Francisco Foundation in this effort. We have chosen to work with these two organizations because they have proven track records of affecting change in the face of challenging problems and have the collective reach to make the greatest impact. Silicon Valley Community Foundation is the largest community foundation in the world, managing $7.3 billion in assets and more than 1,800 philanthropic funds globally. The San Francisco Foundation has served the people of the Bay Area since 1948, almost as long as the 49ers franchise. We are excited to work with these two renowned foundations over the coming months to develop a giving plan to help our community find unifying solutions to these pressing issues.” Both foundations, according to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport, do not have ties to Colin Kaepernick, who has been protesting social inequalities against African-Americans and other minorities in the United States by not standing during the national anthem. Kaepernick wrote on Instagram on Wednesday he would donate proceeds from his jersey sales to community organizations he supports. The 49ers weren’t the only team to donate to a community organization Thursday. The Green Bay Packers and coach Mike McCarthy each made $100,000 donations to the Green Bay Police Foundation in an effort to enhance community-police relationships. “I’m excited to support the Green Bay Police Foundation and its work to help all the Green Bay communities build those relationships,” McCarthy said. “It’s important so our children can grow, they can invest, and they can project a healthier and safer community. Drake Is Either In Denial Or Trying To Get Off On A Technicality Earlier this week, outlets reported Drake was robbed of $3 million of jewelry while he was performing. A man, Travion King , was arrested for the crime. Those are the facts of the story, unless one asks Drake what happened. According to Drake, he wasn’t robbed at all. Still, Drake seemed pretty eager to dodge questions about the whole incident, understandable after he was seen getting quite heated backstage when learning what had transpired. Arizona police arrested Travion King, a homeless man, at Arizona State University later on Wednesday after he was found on campus in possession of the missing jewelry. King had previously worked at Talking Stick Arena, where the Drake concert had taken place, which is likely how he had the knowledge to commit the robbery. This isn’t the only bizarre denial surrounding Drake recently. On Wednesday, Drake’s father Dennis Graham repeatedly told paparazzi that Drake and Rihanna were not in a relationship and were just friends. This comes despite Drake professing his love to her on stage at the VMAs, later kissing on stage at the Summer Sixteen Tour, and even sporting matching shark tattoos in the days after the VMAs. Whatever Drake is thinking, it’s clear that he wasn’t happy about the theft and he’s trying to put it out of mind. We’ll have to see how the denial strategy works out for him. I don’t blame Drake. This is a truly horrible story. Kathleen Steele, a 62-year old who appeared on a reality show titled “I’m Pregnant and 55 Years Old,” has been charged with aggravated manslaughter. And the details of the case are simply incomprehensible. According to Pinellas County Sheriff Bob Gualtieri, Steele’s six-year-old son beat his newborn sister to death while the kids and their three -year old brother were left alone. The victim was 13 days old. The incident took place on Monday afternoon after Steele left the three children inside her minivan while she visited a cellphone store in St. Petersburg. “It was one of the worst things I’ve ever seen,” Gualtieri said during a press conference yesterday, per The Tampa Bay Times. Officials have confirmed that Steele’s two youngest children were born through artificial insemination, using her husband’s frozen sperm. The husband died of cancer in 2011 at age 66. As a result, Steele has been raising the kids on her own. The newspaper went on to write that the Florida native had taken the baby to a doctor Monday morning because she was not eating properly. The pediatrician found nothing wrong with the little girl and later said there were no signs of bruising or trauma at the time of the visit. A few hours later, Steele went into the cellphone store. Investigators say the six-year old boy was trying to calm the crying baby, as the toddler actually used a doll to show police how he went about doing this. In front of the authorities, he repeatedly slammed the newborn’s head into the minivan’s ceiling and showed how he bludgeoned her to death. Steele then returned to the van… her son tried to tell her something was wrong with the newborn… she she ignored him and even made another stop before returning home. She did not notice the baby’s injuries until then. “The baby was beaten and traumatized,” the sheriff said. “There was gross swelling in her face. Her skull was cracked in numerous places.” Authorities went on to say that Steele didn’t even call 911. Instead, she contacted a neighbor, who is a nurse. This nurse performed CPR until paramedics arrived. The six-year-old boy will not face criminal charges, although hopefully he will receive some psychiatric treatment. “The mistake is with the adult Kathleen Steele, not a six-year-old boy,” Gualtieri said. Steele was already being investigated by child protection investigators due to a minor brain bleed that the baby suffered following a fire. She was scheduled to be evaluated by investigators on August 1, but she canceled and then rescheduled. Her sons have been placed in foster care, according to the Florida paper, and she is being held on $100,000 bond.

Earlier today, several media outlets reported that Amber Heard had requested a restraining order against Johnny Depp , claiming that the actor physically assaulted her on more than one occasion. Now, the details of Heard’s allegations against her estranged husband have been revealed, and they’re shocking to say the least. TMZ reports that Heard told a judge Depp struck her in the face with an iPhone on Saturday night resulting in considerable facial bruising. According to her testimony, Heard was at home with Depp on the evening of May 21, when he launched into a seemingly unprovoked tantrum smashing various objects around the house. She claims that the 52-year-old appeared to be “inebriated and high” at the time. Heard says she was on the phone with a friend during Depp’s tirade, and she reportedly screamed, “Call the cops!” just as he snatched the phone out of her hand. The friend called 911, but Depp had fled the scene by the time authorities arrived. Police told Heard that they would pursue Depp and arrest him if she gave a statement, but she refused. Instead, she filed for divorce from Depp just two days later.
