Jenelle Evans is not very popular these days. Come to think of it, Jenelle has never been very popular, but she's been even more reviled than ever in recent weeks. As you've likely heard by now Evans got fired from Teen Mom 2 and lost custody of her children last month. Basically, Jenelle's life unraveled with astonishing speed, and it all started when her husband, David Eason, shot and killed the family dog . Yes, the man really executed an 11-pound French bulldog named Nugget during one of his infamous fits of rage. He and Jenelle have already paid a hefty price for that appalling act, but as they're about to learn, there are lots of animal lovers and David haters on the internet — and the #JusticeForNugget campaign for has only just begun. Take a look: 1. A New Low Jenelle was never the most responsible pet owner, but even longtime TM2 viewers — most of whom are painfully familiar with her selfishness and irresponsibility — may have found themselves in shock when she decided to stay with David after he executed Nugget while her children were at home. 2. The Absolute Worst At first, the details seemed too shocking to believe — David dragged the small dog outside and killed him with a shotgun while his horrified children cowered in terror. 3. Lifelong Trauma Jenelle later revealed that 11-year-old Maryssa hid in her room and didn’t emerge until the next day. 4. No Lessons Learned Apparently unaware that animal abuse is not great for one’s public image, Jenelle has taken to posting “homesteading” videos that show David — you guessed it! — manhandling and mistreating all sorts of frightened animals. 5. What a Guy At one point, David shoves a piglet into Nugget’s face. Yes, the same Nugget who was apparently so vicious he needed to be violently put down. 6. It's been a rough year for Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra. Fortunately, Monday night's episode of Teen Mom OG focused on a recent highlight for the troubled couple. Back in February, Catelynn welcomed her third child , a baby girl named Vaeda. With all these two have been through, it was a joy to witness their obvious elation at Vaeda's arrival. Teen Mom cast members frequently complain that they're treated unfairly in the editing process or that the show only focuses on the negative aspects of their life. Something tells us Lowell and Baltierra have no such complaints about last night's episode. Take a look: 1. One Happy Family It’s been a long and winding road for Catelynn and Tyler. But finally, we got to see them enjoy a bit of happiness thanks to the arrival of their baby girl. 2. Baby Vaeda The Baltierras have been gushing about Vaeda and sharing pics on social media ever since the moment she entered the world. 3. Overjoyed But for all the joyous family moments on social media, few details had been revealed about the day Vaeda entered the world — until last night. 4. Completing the Picture As we now know, Vaeda has been welcomed with enthusiasm by her older sister, and she’s proven instrumental in helping Cate and Tyler move on from the traumas of the past year. 5. New Beginnings Catelynn, in particular, had a difficult time in the months leading up to Vaeda’s birth, but last night, it was all love and elation. 6. Superhero films are all the rage these days, but we haven’t seen a hero flick done quite like James Gunn’s Brightburn . Brightburn tells the story of a farm couple living in Brightburn, Kansas who has had trouble conceiving a child. One night, a meteor falls from the sky near their farm with a baby inside, so they decide to adopt him, naming him Brandon. Ten years later, Brandon discovers that he has superhuman strength, and literally, all hell breaks loose. We caught up with two of the stars from the film — David Denman who plays the father Kyle Breyer and Jackson A. Dunn who plays Brandon Breyer/Brightburn — and they dished on all things horror, working with James Gunn, and whether or not there actually is some good in even the worst people. On whether or not some people are born inherently bad: Dunn: I think it depends on someone’s upbringing and the things that affect them in life. Their trauma. It’s all about background Denman: I concur with what he said. I don’t that anyone is just purely evil. There are people who are misguided, and that’s unfortunate. These are tough times in the life of pop icon Britney Spears. At this point, it doesn’t appear that the situation is as dire as Britney’s infamous 2007 meltdown , but that’s only because the singer is older, wiser, and surrounded by a slightly better support network. Back in April, Spears checked into a mental health facility , ostensibly because she was distraught over her father’s potentially fatal health issues. Now, it appears that the situation is more complicated than that. Reports of Britney’s efforts to bring an end to the conservatorship that has governed for life for over a decade have brought about a resurgence of the #FreeBritney movement, which was initially created over 10 years ago by fans concerned for Spears’ well-being. It now looks as though the 37-year-old may have been committed against her will, and it seems that parties who do not have her best interest at heart are going to great lengths to maintain control over her life. Sadly it seems that Spears can no longer trust her father, who is the main executor of the conservatorship. And she was recently forced to file for a restraining order against Sam Lufti, an ex-manager whose efforts to exploit Spears for financial gain have been well-documented. Britney is clearly fighting a battle for her freedom against some very stiff opposition. But fortunately, she’s not doing it entirely on her own. On Thursday, Spears posted a photo of herself smiling alongside boyfriend Sam Asghari. She captioned the pic, “I love this man.” Fans found encouragement in the pic for a number of reasons: For one thing, it’s good to see Spears smiling again. More importantly, it’s reassuring to know that she and Sam are still going strong, as many Spears worshippers consider this to be her healthiest relationship to date. And Britney will need all the help she can get in the months to come. TMZ previously reported that Britney’s mom is going to war on her daughter’s behalf and has joined the battle to bring the conservatorship to an end. But even with such a formidable ally on her side, Britney is facing an uphill battle. Insiders tell TMZ that Brit is “keeping her chin up” but that “things are far from well” in her life. We have an update on the tragic death of Ashley Massaro . As previously reported, the former WWE Diva and Survivor: China contestant was rushed to the hospital on Thursday morning after paramedics responded to a call for help. Massaro was reportedly found unconscious at her home in New York after she failed to show up for her job at a local radio station. Despite the best efforts of emergency medical technicians on the scene, Massaro did not survive. She died at the age of 39. At the time of this initial report, few details were available regarding exactly what transpired — but The Blast has now published a statement from Shelly Martinez (who wrestled as Ariel), in which this close pal of Massaro’s says the following: “My best friend from the wrestling business died from suicide two days after responding to 300+ fan letters. She was the happiest I have seen her in years, so stoked that people still cared about her 11 years after her career was over. “There are no signs. It comes without warning. If you are going through the worst shit in your life, just know that you are not alone. PLEASE seek help.” Martinez is referring here to a recent Tweet from Massaro, where she showed off a pile of fan letters and wrote as a caption: “Just answered a ton of fanmail so you guys should be receiving them soon!” Prior to her suicid, Ashley Massaro had been part of a class action lawsuit against the WWE in which 60 wrestlers accused the company of failing to protect its employees from repeated head trauma and concussions that eventually led to long-term brain damage. The lawsuit was dismissed last year after a judge deemed it “frivolous” and ruled that some of the claims occurred past the statute of limitations. However, it was appealed shortly after and is still ongoing. Therefore, Martinez may be a bit off base when she says that Massaro taking her life came out of nowhere. It sounds as if she was actually in a lot of pain. According to the affidavit, Massaro says she was “literally knocked out cold for five minutes,” and says afterward of how WWE responded: “Not only did I not receive treatment, but I was told to brush it off.” Massaro claimed to have “sustained multiple concussions” throughout her wrestling career, along with “hairline fracture in my spine and sustained numerous back injuries.” She was “ultimately diagnosed with herniated discs in C4 and C5 of my vertebrae.” In the affidavit, which Massaro wrote in 2017, she explained: “Aside from my on-going physical injuries that were sustained in the ring, and my former battle with addiction, to this day I suffer from depression, for which I take medication; migraine headaches; and severe short-term memory loss.” Massaro was the first winner of the WWE Diva Search before retiring from the company in 2008. She left behind an 18-year old daughter named Alex who has shared a tribute and a couple of photos of herself and her mother in the wake of this tragedy. “i wish i could have gotten more recent pictures,” she wrote along with the following image, for example. She later added: “i love you mommy i want to wake up in your arms more than anything i want to give u a big hug please come back this cant be real.” Just so tragic all around. As authorities continue to investigate what happened, those who knew Ashley are in mourning. “She is so much more than her image,” Leslie Nease, a fellow Survivor contestant and friend, told People Magazine. “After we were both voted off we spent hours in deep conversation for several days. She had a very soft and kind side. I am so thankful I was able to see that and know her that way.” Added Torrie Wilson, who wrestled alongside Ashley in the WWE: “I can’t even begin to explain how devastated I am to hear about [Ashley Massaro] – legit one of the sweetest people I’ve ever known. “When we fall into a dark place it can seem like it will never change but if you are there PLEASE keep hope & reach out for help.” Amen. This Not Exactly Just In: Jenelle Evans is not the best mother on the planet. Anyone who has tuned in for any episode of Teen Mom 2 or surfed the Internet for any amount of time is likely aware of this fact. But Jenelle’s fitness as a parent has never been called further into question than it has been at the moment, with Child Protection Services having recently gone into her North Carolina home and removed her three kids. Following a court hearing on Thursday, Ensley, Jace and Kaiser were all hauled away by the authorities — and it’s unclear when, if ever, they will be returned to their mom. (Jenelle’s husband, David Eason, is the biological father of Ensley, while Jenelle’s shares Jace with Andrew Lewis and Kaiser with Nathan Griffith.) It’s a very ugly and sad situation all around. Evans, of course, has often made headlines for her controversial parenting techniques and decisions . But CPS finally intervened after Eason admitted to shooting and killing his family’s dog, Nugget, because it allegedly snapped at little Ensley and placed her in danger. According to various reports, Eason beat the dog bloody and senseless with his bare hands before putting it out of the misery he brutally inflicted upon it. This story made national news. No one has come to the defense of Eason because his actions were indefensible — but is it time someone stepped in and defended Jenelle as a mother? We’ve been at the forefront of Jenelle’s mockery and we’ve penned one article after another about the dangerous environment in which Jenelle has placed her kids, merely by putting them around Eason, his guns, his temper and his penchant for violence. And yet: it’s a huge deal for a mother to actually, truly, literally lose her kids. With this in mind, we’ve asked members of The Hollywood Gossip editorial team to chime in and respond to the following question: DOES JENELLE EVANS DESERVE TO LOST CUSTODY OF HER CHILDREN? YES by Tyler Johnson Put this one alongside “Is the Pope Catholic?” And “Does a bear sh-t in the woods?” on the list of questions that are so easy to answer they can be used rhetorically. Jenelle’s kids should have been taken away years ago for myriad reasons: She’s been arrested dozens of times — often for violent offenses — her youngest daughter was born with drugs in her system, and through it all, Jenelle has never shown any remorse or willingness to seek help. But, for whatever reason, the powers that be in the state of North Carolina didn’t act until David traumatized the kids by murdering their pet dog. It’s shameful that the authorities allowed those children to remain in such a dangerous environment for so long. But now they have an opportunity to make things right by ensuring that Jenelle is never again granted primary custody of her children. Perhaps if she leaves David, she can one day prove herself worthy of visitation rights. But Evans has demonstrated time and again that she’s not capable of providing a stable home life for a child — especially as long as that monster remains in her life. YES (PLEASE) by Simon Delott Jenelle Evans is, all by herself, a bad enough parent that no child should be condemned to her care. This is a woman who makes Farrah Abraham look like a model reality star – nay, a model human being! – by comparison. To those unfamiliar with the Teen Mom franchise, I describe Jenelle as “Worse Kenny’s Mom,” for those familiar with South Park. It’s a convenient shorthand that gives people a very clear picture of what a disaster she is. On a more serious note, Jenelle has an addiction that makes one almost nostalgic for her erstwhile fondness for needles. That addiction is David Eason, a scary, terrible person and, according to the local sheriff, “the most dangerous man in three counties .” David has served time in prison, but neither it nor the spotlight of fame has made him less of a violent menace. The man should not be trusted to watch a houseplant, let alone a child. I’ve been saying that since poor Nugget was still alive. Will CPS rescue these poor children on a permanent basis? That’s for a court to decide. Unfortunately, we won’t hold our breath. Our legal system places much more value on a parent’s “rights” than it does on a child’s well-being. The only thing that our courts care about less than children is non-human animals. David Eason may be a dog-murderer and an all-around monster, but I don’t have enough faith in the system to count on them recognizing that. He’ll probably just be forced to take some anger management classes and will get to go on living his life. Those poor children deserve better than what our society is willing to do for them. YES (AS SOON AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE) by Hilton Hater I really wanted to play Devil’s Advocate here. I really racked my brain and tried to come up with some angle in which I could argue that Eason may be a violent bigot but he’s never harmed any of the kids himself. Or that Jenelle has clearly leared her lesson at this point and will re-dedicate herself to being a responsible parent and will always put the well-being of her young ones first and that it’s a really huge deal to actually take away children from their biological mother. But I couldn’t do it. I couldn’t get there. This isn’t an instance where one can even try to make jokes or quips or puns or pretend like it’s not a big deal. This is a massive deal. The lives of two boys and one girl, all under the age of 10, are at stake. Yes, their lives are at stake. Eason has murdered a dog in cold blood. He has almost definitely broken his wife’s collarbone . He cannot control his anger and Jenelle cannot control herself around him; she has proven time and again that she’s incapable of leaving the marriage and, as noted by my colleagues above, she has often shown little regard for her kids even when on her own. This is an easy one and also a tragic one all around: Every day those kids live under Jenelle’s roof, they are in danger. WHAT DO YOU THINK? Source: Derrick Davis / Derrick Davis Fresh off the heels of Mother’s Day weekend, a new podcast, “Talk To Your Mom” has launched to encourage adult children to have more transparent conversations with their mothers. “Talk To Your Mom,” a home for conversation where generational knowledge is wealth, is the brainchild of writer, host and producer Keyaira Kelly , and her mom, Tarawoner Kelly , lifecoach and founder of TYL Foundation. Each episode, Keyaira and Tarawoner tackle raw and candid discussions about traditionally taboo mom/daughter topics including sex, love, self-worth, spirituality, healing and trauma. Each episode is driven by a question, with an invitation for listeners to go out and challenge themselves to dive deep with their mamas too. “In the last couple of years, I have become aware of the privilege it is to have a mom who sees me not just as her child, but as a woman with her own hopes, fears and dreams,” Keyaira said of the project. “My goal is that these episodes will inspire other moms and their kids to get to know each other on a deeper level. I really feel where there is vulnerability, there is healing.” While Keyaira fills the discussions with modern millennial wisdom, Tarawoner serves as both an inspiration to mothers about how to be more transparent with their kids, and also as a surrogate mom for adult listeners who may find it impossible to have real talk with a mother figure. “Just be open and honest about what you’ve been through,” Tarawoner advises moms. “Talk To Your Mom” to me is about intergenerational relationship. It’s a way to communicate revelation knowledge to your offspring about your life lessons so that future generations will be able to give the perfect gift of openness to their kids,” she explains. “Being able to speak more candidly to my daughters without judgement is priceless to me. I want to see love and compassion move through these relationships so they can become whole and rich”. If you’re anything like us, you’re deeply traumatized by the events of Sunday night’s Game of Thrones. Missandei. Rhaegal. Ghost being dismissed by Jon Snow without so much as a pat on the head … it was all too much to take. There was a lot of fun to be had — a boozy rager at Winterfell and Brienne losing her V-card to Jaime, for example — but you can bet such moments of levity will be in short supply as the show enters its final two episodes. Yes, believe it or not, in just two weeks’ time, there will never again be another new episode of Game of Thrones for the internet to lose its mind over. It’s a sad thought to contemplate — but don’t worry, the show is sure to give you a whole lot more to be sad about before it takes its final bow on May 19. It’s in that spirit that we bring you the trailer for the penultimate installment of the one show on television that truly lives up to the word “epic.” Emilia Clarke says GoT Season 8 Episode 5 is her favorite of the entire series. We’ll have to withhold judgment on that score, as the trailer — really doesn’t give us much in the way of information. In fact, there’s not a single line of dialogue in the entire clip: Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 5 Preview: It Is ON! So what information can we glean from the preview, which clocks in at a scant 30 seconds? Well, it looks as though the main action of the story will (finally) shift to King’s Landing, where Cersei Lannister is still looking mighty smug with the monster known as the Mountain standing behind her. We’re looking forward to someone wiping that smug smirk off her face, but after watching Dany slowly lose her mind last week, we’re not sure she’d be a much better ruler. Other than that, the trailer doesn’t tell us much — other than the fact that it looks like we’re in for more sword-slinging and dragon fire. In past seasons, GoT’s second-to-last episode has been its most action-packed. Will the show follow that pattern on Sunday? Will this be the week that Stark-Targaryen alliance wipes out the Lannisters, leaving the finale to focus on the political intrigue concerning the rightful heir to the Iron Throne? That remains to be seen — but at least we can bet on this clash of queens being much better-lit than the Battle of Winterfell .

The Hollywood Unlocked cohost made a triumphant return to the podcast and shared shocking details about the moment she nearly died when her Jeep flipped five times on a California freeway. If you can remember, back in June of 2018 Melyssa’s car was clipped by an 18-wheeler and during the violent crash, the roof of her jeep ripped off causing her head to hit the concrete. The former vixen told Jason Lee and DJ Damage about the moments leading up to the crash and it’s absolutely frightening. According to Melyssa who was on the way to Tank and Zena Foster’s wedding, and as soon as her car was swiped by a truck, she KNEW it would flip. Melyssa said after first trying to maneuver and stop the flipping, she let it happen. “Once the impact hit the back tire, the car just started to spin out of control. So I started spinning the wheel in the opposite the direction, counterclockwise. But then I took my feet off the pedals, in order to not increase or decrease speed. But the way it was going, I knew it was going to flip. I knew it. But then I also thought to myself, I’m not going to make it. It’s seconds but they also feel like an entirety at the same time. […] When I could feel that it was about to flip, I was buckled into my seatbelt, so I took my hand off the steering wheel and my feet off the pedals. And I just sat there and waited for it to happen. There’s no point in tensing up. You have a better chance of surviving if you just let your body go slack and go with the movement of the vehicle. And whatever come what may. I just started flipping and a lot of memories after that is just the sound of metal on pavement, which is the worse sound in the entire world. And in the process, of my jeep flipping five times, my roof flipped off.” Melyssa later said that after the roof came off the Jeep there was nothing there to protect her head, and her “head was cracked open like an egg.” “So when my jeep came to rest upside down. Once it landed, my head hit the pavement. So that’s what cracked open my head. I had a skull fracture, my head was cracked open like an egg. My brain was bleeding, massive concussion. I was knocked out. I don’t know how long I was out. But from what I’ve been told, good samaritans, whoever you are, thank you for everything. They stopped and apparently, three guys picked up my jeep and the fourth one pulled me out. The pictures you guys saw, I saw at the same time. One of the guys took pictures to prove that he actually stopped to help someone on the highway.” Wow, wow, wow! We’re so glad she’s okay and in her right faculties after going through that. More on the flip including Melyssa discussing racking up a nearly $100,000 hospital bill while being uninsured.
