So sad … One Year Old Baby Shot In Baltimore Baltimore police said they charged a suspect Saturday in connection with the fatal shooting of a 1-year-old boy in South Baltimore’s Cherry Hill neighborhood. The boy’s father was also shot in what police said was a targeted attack. The shooting occurred on Friday evening when the two were in a car. Police have not identified the suspect who is in custody. Court records show that Eddie Tarver, age 20 of the 200 block of Cherry Hill Road, was charged Saturday with first-degree murder, second-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder and attempted second-degree murder in incidents that records say occurred on Friday. At a news conference Saturday in a strip mall parking lot a few blocks from the shooting scene, Commissioner Anthony W. Batts said police have “a pretty good grasp on what occurred out here last night.” He said police believe it was not a random shooting. “But the bottom line to get across to get here is that this level of violence in this community,” Batts said, “whether it’s Cherry Hill or anywhere else in the city of Baltimore, has to end.” After the shooting, police said they chased three or four persons to the Western District. The officers who chased the suspects “showed a lot of courage” Batts added. The shooting took place in the 1200 block of Cherry Hill Road at 7:05 p.m. Friday, and the child, whose name was not released, was pronounced dead at 8:26 p.m. according to Detective Angela Carter-Watson. The man who was shot was identified by three law enforcement sources as 22-year-old Rashaw Scott, also known as Davon Greene, of the 1000 block of Edmondson Ave. As of Sunday morning, he was still said to be in critical condition, according to an officials at Shock Trauma. When will the madness end?!!? Continue reading
Kai the Hitchhiker, the oddball who gained online fame this year following a random act of heroism and a tremendous local TV interview, is wanted for murder. Union County law enforcement has issued a warrant for him for the murder of Joseph Galfy, Jr., in Clark, N.J., the Union County Prosecutor’s Office says. Galfy was reportedly found dead inside his home on May 13. Kai the Hitchhiker Interview The cause of death has been declared as blunt force trauma. Police say Kai (Caleb Lawrence McGillvary) is considered armed and dangerous. Kai is said to have cut his hair to conceal his identity , and was last seen at a rail station near Haddonfield, N.J. He is officially a murder suspect. Back in February, McGillvary, a.k.a. Kai, was passing through Fresno, Calif., when he stumbled into an alarming situation – and quasi-celeb status. Kai saw a man attack a utility worker with a car and assault a woman at a gas station, after which he hit the man with a hatchet to stop the attack. His interview shortly thereafter (above) was a viral sensation. Basically, he was Charles Ramsey before Charles Ramsey, but Antoine Dodson was Kai before Kai was Kai. Okay, that made absolutely no sense. Anyway, Kai videos have been viewed millions of times, making the apparent dark turn in McGillvary’s once-great story all the more shocking. Sadly, we don’t foresee this ending well. He posted this on Facebook this week:

Wow the Jackson family got all types of secrets. Taj Jackson Reveals He Was Molested As A Kid According to TMZ Michael Jackson’s nephew Taj Jackson — Tito’s son — just revealed he was molested by a family member on his mom’s side when he was a kid … and says Michael personally consoled him after the incident. Taj dropped the bombshell on Twitter this morning during a tirade aimed at MJ accuser Wade Robson. During the tweet session, Taj claimed he’s in a unique position to judge Robson’s sexual abuse allegations because he knows what it’s like to have gone through such a traumatic experience. “That is how I KNOW Wade is lying. Because I AM a survivor,” Taj tweeted. Followed by: “I was sexually abuse (sic). By [a family member] on my mom’s side of the family when I was a kid.” As for Michael, Taj says MJ “was a support system for me and my mom” during his abuse ordeal … he even tweeted a picture of a note he says MJ wrote to his mother. The scrawl reads: “Dee Dee please read this article about child molestation and please read it to Taj (and his siblings) … it brings out how even your own relatives can be molesters of children, even uncles or aunts molesting nephews or nieces. Please Read. Love MJ.” And Taj makes it clear — he thinks Robson is LYING for CASH. “What people will $ay and do for money and to $tay relevant is $ickening. De$perate times call for De$perate mea$ures. #Money.” Looks like Wade Robson is the type of creep that brings out all the horrible secrets in a family. Getty/Twitter

Wade Robson is ready to break his silence on the Michael Jackson sex abuse allegations, and does not sound like a man who’s ready to duck and cover. Robson surfaced at NYC’s JFK airport today, where he was accosted by paparazzi about his accusations that Michael Jackson sexually abused him . Choreographer Wade, 30, said that the late King of Pop abused him for years when he was a kid, and that he was a monster and everyone knows it. As for why he didn’t come forward until now, he says he blocked out the memories and recently suffered a breakdown due to the repressed trauma. That breakdown, he claims, torpedoed his career and cost him millions, which he is hoping to recoup in his lawsuit against the music icon’s estate. The estate believes Wade is completely lying, while MJ’s former lawyer suggests that AEG could be behind Robson’s curiously timed allegations. Robson says he’ll open up later this week. Think he’s telling the truth? He’s totally lying and just wants money. It’s probably true and MJ should pay. View Poll »

This is truly a blessing. A woman survived 17 days under the rubble of a Bangladesh factory building where over 1,000 people were killed . Via NY Daily News reports : A seamstress buried in the wreckage of a collapsed garment factory building for 17 days was rescued Friday, a miraculous moment set against a scene of unimaginable horror, where the death toll shot past 1,000. Reshma survived, in remarkably good shape, by eating dried food that was in her area and drinking spare amounts of water with her. She was discovered on the second floor of the eight-story Rana Plaza building, where crews have been focused on recovering bodies, not rescuing survivors, for much of the past two weeks. “I heard voices of the rescue workers for the past several days. I kept hitting the wreckage with sticks and rods just to attract their attention,” she told the private Somoy TV from her hospital bed as doctors and nurses milled about, giving her saline and checking her condition. “No one heard me. It was so bad for me. I never dreamed I’d see the daylight again,” she said. “There was some dried food around me. I ate the dried food for 15 days. The last two days I had nothing but water. I used to drink only a limited quantity of water to save it. I had some bottles of water around me,” she said. Once Reshma finally got their attention, the crews ordered the cranes and bulldozers to immediately stop work and used handsaws and welding and drilling equipment to cut through the iron rod and debris still trapping her. They gave her water, oxygen and saline as they worked to free her. When Reshma was freed after 40 minutes, the crowd erupted in wild cheers. She was rushed to a military hospital in an ambulance, but her rescuers said she was in shockingly good condition, despite her ordeal. Abdur Razzak, a warrant officer with the military’s engineering department who first spotted her in the wreckage, said she could even walk. “She was fine, no injuries. She was just trapped. The space was wide,” said Lt. Col. Moyeen, an army official at the scene. Reshma told her rescuers there were no more survivors in her area. Workers began tearing through the nearby rubble anyway, hoping to find another person alive. “Reshma told me there were three others with her. They died. She did not see anybody else alive there,” said Maj. Gen. Chowdhury Hasan Suhrawardy, the head of the local military units. “We will continue our search until a survivor or a dead body is there.” The woman survived for more than two weeks in temperatures that touched the mid 90s (mid 30s Celsius). She scrounged for whatever food she could find, Suhrawardy said. Then, when the workers with bulldozers and cranes got close to the area where she was trapped, she took a still pipe and began banging it to attract attention, Razzak said. The workers ran into the dark rubble, eventually getting flashlights, to free her, he said. Reshma’s mother and her sister, Asma, rushed to the hospital to meet her. Hundreds of people who had been engaged in the grim job of removing decomposing bodies from the site raised their hands together in prayer for her survival. “Allah, you are the greatest, you can do anything. Please allow us all to rescue the survivor just found,” said a man on a loudspeaker leading the supplicants. “We seek apology for our sins. Please pardon us, pardon the person found alive.” Workers at the site had been clearing the rubble since the collapse April 24. More than 2,500 people were rescued in the immediate aftermath of the disaster. However, no survivors had been found in the wreckage since April 28, when Shahin Akter was found amid the wreckage. As workers tried to free her, a fire broke out and she died of smoke inhalation. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, called Reshma in the hospital, and the rescued woman began crying on the phone, Suhrawardy said. She told Hasina: “I am fine, please pray for me,” he said. It’s truly a miracle Reshma survived, we pray that she is able to overcome the trauma from her experience. The government has been under extreme criticism over the conditions of their garment industry. With two major disasters striking this month, clearly some changes need to be made. Our prayers are with those affected by this terrible disaster. Hit the flip for a pretty disturbing image from the collapse. SkyNews

In addition to Wade Robson’s allegations , Michael Jackson’s life is back in the news this week because of his family’s wrongful death lawsuit against AEG Live. Then again, MJ’s former attorney suggested this week that Robson may have been motivated to come forward by AEG, his former concert promoter. In any case, days before his death, the King of Pop told Kenny Ortega, the producer of the ill-fated This Is It tour, that “God keeps talking to me.” Ortega and associate producer Alif Sankey testified that they became increasingly alarmed at Jackson’s frail appearance during his final rehearsals. Sankey was so worried that at one point she began crying. During a June 19, 2009 rehearsal, Jackson looked “extremely thin” and “was not speaking normally” as he was being fitted for his stage clothes. Six days later, Michael Jackson died. Sankey was so shaken up even before he passed away that she says she called Ortega “because I had a very strong feeling that Michael was dying.” “I was screaming into the phone at that point,” she added of the star’s apparently declining health. “I said he needs to be put in the hospital now.” Shortly thereafter, a meeting was called at Jackson’s house with Jackson, Dr. Conrad Murray , AEG Live President Randy Phillips and Ortega. Phillips then sent an email praising Murray, who’s now doing time for manslaughter, as a man “who I am gaining immense respect for as I deal with him more.” The email added, “This doctor is extremely successful [we check everyone out] and does not need this gig, so he [is] totally unbiased and ethical.” Therein lies the rub. In their wrongful death lawsuit, the Jackson family claims that AEG and Phillips did not properly check out Murray’s background. If they had, they would have found he was saddled with debt and was desperate to keep his high-paying job treating Jackson, even if it meant crossing the line. As such, they want $40 BILLION In damages. In the meanwhile, Wade Robson, a choreographer who knew Jackson when he was a boy, said Michael Jackson sexually abused him repeatedly. Wade made the claims years after denying the same exact thing during MJ’s molestation trial. His reason for the flip-flop at this moment in time? That he had a nervous breakdown from long-repressed sexual trauma and it torpedoed his career. He is seeking damages from MJ’s estate as a result. Michael’s lawyer during the molestation trial, Tom Mesereau, has suggested that the timing is curious to say the least, and questioned his motives.

Wade Robson, through his attorney, is elaborating on his recent sexual abuse claim against the late Michael Jackson, who he calls an abusive monster. One who threatened and brainwashed him, no less. Henry Gradstein tells TMZ that Wade Robson , 30, was molested by the King of Pop at Neverland Ranch and his other homes between ages 7 and 14. As for why Wade didn’t come forward until now – and even testified under oath that Michael was innocent, as Jackson’s lawyers pointed out immediately? “Last year, on a career trajectory that was off the charts, he collapsed under the stress and sexual trauma of what had happened to him for seven years as a child.” The attorney adds that Robson carried the weight of long-repressed, emotional “brain washing by a sexual predator until the burden of it all crushed him.” Gradstein says MJ would tell Wade, “If anyone ever finds out about what we did we will go to jail for the rest of our lives … our lives will be ruined forever.” From Wade’s standpoint, it worked, as he went so far as to lie on the stand during Michael Jackson’s 2005 molestation trial to protect his abuser. Wade was steadfast for years that MJ did NOT molest him, something that is not lost on his attorney, who says it is not Robson’s fault, but rather: “Such intimidation of a child by a sexual predator is tragically characteristic and effective, keeping them quiet about the abuse – often for a lifetime.” “Michael Jackson was a monster and in their hearts every normal person knows it.” Robson filed a creditor’s claim against Michael’s estate earlier this week, alleging that the music icon molested him as a child and asking for damages. Jackson died in 2009 and the deadline for claims against his estate has long passed, but Wade claims his repressed memories should allow an exception. Gradstein says Robson has not asked for a specific sum of money, but that’s clearly what he’s after – justifiably or not – as MJ is no longer here to defend himself. He slammed “the Jackson money machine” which he says is “at it again to keep the truth from coming out.” But he says, “This time it won’t work.” What do you think of Wade Robson’s allegations against MJ? He’s totally lying and just wants money. It’s probably true and MJ should pay. View Poll »
