Kendrick Johnson: Third Autopsy Claims Foul Play In Gym Mat Death Of Georgia Teen

Source: D-Keine / Getty Kendrick Johnson’s Parents’ Conduct Third Autopsy, Find Foul Play The parents of a Georgia teen who was found dead in a wrestling mat have conducted a third autopsy. The AJC reports that Kendrick Johnson’s parents Kenneth and Jackie Johnson paid for an autopsy that found that the teen died nearly six years ago from non-accidental blunt force trauma between his neck and abdomen. The results match the first autopsy done on Kendrick, also paid for by his family. The AJC adds that the results will make “minimal impact” considering that a federal investigation ruled out foul play As previously reported the state medical examiner’s office said Kendrick’s 2013 cause of death was “positional asphyxia,” after he accidentally became rolled in a gym mat while allegedly trying to retrieve a pair of sneakers. His death was ruled an accident and in 2016 the Justice Department concluded there was “insufficient evidence to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that someone or some group of people willfully violated Kendrick Johnson’s civil rights or committed any other prosecutable federal crime.” His parents believe that two sons of a local FBI agent; Brian, and Branden Bell murdered their son. The parents previously filed a whopping $100 million lawsuit against 38 people they believed were involved.   A judge accused the Johnsons of fabricating evidence to support their claims and they were ordered to pay attorney’s fees to multiple defendants. SMH…this is all so sad. All these years and still no answers for this family.

Petra Nemcova’s Boyfriend is Pretty Daring of the DAy

In case you don’t remember, Petra Nemcova survived that big Tsunami that made the news a long time ago, back when she was a young hot model. He was a photographer and they were on some luxury trip that ended with him taking a pretty fucking serious SURF, riding that wave like Patrick Swayze in the final scene of Point Break, unless he just faked his disappearance to get the fuck away from her…you know because she’s the kind of girl you want to fake your death the second you have the chance to like some natural disaster…. THAT SAID…. Her new boyfriend, for her old self, that still looks alright, despite the menopausal shaped body that I can see happening, which I guess isn’t so bad after all the trauma she’s been through, not that any EASTERN EUROPEAN can experience trauma, they have no souls… Either way, the new boyfriend, based on her history is pretty daring, staring death in the face being near a body of water next to her. She’s got a pretty fucked up track record. The post Petra Nemcova’s Boyfriend is Pretty Daring of the DAy appeared first on DrunkenStepFather.com .

Ariana Grande: Named Woman of the Year By Billboard!

Ariana Grande capped off what’s already been a legendary year by writing a new song to her exes . She was the one with Big Dick Energy the whole time. Billboard recognizes that, and has chosen Ari as their Woman of the Year. It’s a huge deal. Billboard has announced that Ariana Grande is their 2018 Billboard Woman of the Year. “Billboard’s 13th annual Women In Music event will take place December 6 in a return to New York City,” Billboard shared in a statement. And they have already decided which music superstar they’ll be honoring at the event. It was probably an easy decision to reach. “And,” the statement says. “We can now officially announce Ariana Grande as our 2018 Billboard Woman of the Year.” To quote Kim Kardashian: it’s what she deserves . “2018 has been huge for Grande,” the statement continues. Billboard says: “As the pop superstar launched Top 40 hits like ‘God Is A Woman,’ ‘Breathin,’ and ‘No Tears Left to Cry’ under the Billboard Hot 100.” That announcement is a great reminder that “Goodnight N Go” is vastly underappreciated and maybe the most underrated song of her album. Ariana had that success with singles “while seeing her album, Sweetener , hit #1 on the Billboard 200.” “And earn the largest streaming week ever for a pop album by a female artist upon its release,” Billboard raves. “Grande’s remarkable year transcended the charts,” Billboard points out. That is an understatement. “As she used her voice to support worthwhile causes, as well,” the statement notes. “She participated in March For Our Lives in support for gun control legislation,” Billboard continues. “And,” the statement says. “Has been an outspoken advocate for mental health awareness.” This was a very timely thing to mention, because Ariana had just spoken on the subject. Billboard cites that, just the day before their announcement, Ariana had responded to a fan tweet with a powerful message. “In all honesty,” Ariana wrote to a fan. “Therapy has saved my life so many times.” “If you’re afraid to ask for help, don’t be,” she encourages her followers. Ariana promises: “You don’t have to be in constant pain and you can process trauma.” Having both witnessed and survived a sickening terrorist attack just last year, Ariana knows the impact of trauma. “i’ve got a lot of work to do,” Ariana admits. “But it’s a start to even be aware that it’s possible.” Billboard was clearly impressed. And Ariana has done so much more. “Grande also helped organize the One Love Manchester benefit concert in response to aid the victims of the Manchester arena bombing,” the statement mentions. That benefit was one “which was broadcast to 50 countries and raised more than $23 million.” “With this year’s honor,” Billboard continues. “Grande now joins the likes of past Woman of the Year recipients: Selena Gomez, Madonna, Lady Gaga, and Taylor Swift.” Those music legends make for some very fine company. Billboard concludes: “The ceremony and red carpet pre-show will be broadcast live on Twitter from 7 to 10pm Eastern on December 6.” Obviously, awards are only as valued as those who receive them. Ariana is at the absolute top of her industry. She’s a living legend and she has been for years. Her latest single, “Thank You, Next” surpassed expectations and smashed records on its own. We are thankfully every day that we have the privilege of living at the same time as unsurpassed talents like Ariana. Farrah Abraham: Replaced in Celebrity Boxing Match, Slammed by Hoopz

Farrah Abraham may be back in our lives far sooner than anyone is prepared for, as the ex-Teen Mom star has signed on to headline a new series . But Abraham is officially out of her celebrity boxing match. We previously reported that Farrah had canceled on the much-hyped event because she alleged the promoter and organizer (the latter of whom is named Samantha Goldberg) had renegged on their contract. According to Radar Online, Abraham believed she had been promised an abundance of airplane tickets and hotel rooms by those in charge of the November 10 fight in Atlantic City. When she learned almost none of these things would be paid for and that her guests would need to foot their own bills… Abraham bailed. The promoter in question, Damon Feldman, has denied that he legally agreed to any of Abraham’s requests, insisting he DID pay for Farrah and her daughter to be flown to the location in first class. Everything else, he says, is just Farrah acting like a diva and looking for an excuse to pull out of the match. But it’s okay, whatever, good riddance, he and Goldberg now say. Because they have found a replacement for Abraham. Mob Wives star Natalie DiDonato will climb into the squared circle on Saturday night to try and knockout Nicole “Hoopz” Alexander. The thing is, another Mob Wives star, Drita D’Avanzo, will be serving as the guest referee. Which sounds totally unfair, don’t you think? Just like MTV did with Teen Mom OG after producers fired Abraham in February, however, the main takeaway here is that it didn’t take long for someone to fill Farrah’s spot. We assume she’ll have some mean words shortly about how DiDonato isn’t qualified to hold her sports bra or something… … but until then, Hoopz has spoken out against her previously-scheduled opponent. “She’s using the promoter as a reason to back out,” the former Flavor of Love contestant wrote on Instagram, accusing Abraham of being scared and weak and adding: “The fight is happening with or without her. We agreed because of the cause not because of Farrah. See everyone November 10th.” Ah, yes, there is a cause attached to this event. As you can see in the above poster, it is being used to raise awareness for anti-bullying. Sounds a little vague, and a little ironic, to center an anti-bullying event around a bout between two people trying to knock each other out. But let’s also be real for a minute: It would be more than a little ironic for Farrah Abraham to be anywhere near anything that is trying to put an end to bullying. She’d have no career at all without that course of action. View Slideshow: Farrah Abraham Trashes Teen Mom Replacements: What Pathetic, Dumb Losers!

Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra Reflect on Adoption Nine Years Later

Despite the theories spun by Teen Mom fans, Tyler Batlierra is not leaving Catelynn Lowell . They have another baby on the way! They gave up their first child for adoption. In this new Teen Mom OG sneak peek, Tyler and Catelynn grapple with the bittersweet occassion that is their firstborn's birthday. “It's been almost a year since we've seen our daughter, Carly,” Catelynn says in a voiceover. “But today is her birthday,” Catelynn narrates. “It's usually a hard day for us, so we always try to celebrate it in a positive way.” There are a couple of awkward moments as they eat their salads before they speak on the phone to Dawn, their adoption counselor. They talk about Nova and her ability to understand that it's Carly's birthday. Nova, of course, is only three years old, so immediately asked when the party would be, and if they would have cake and ice cream. Dawn suggests that they send a Nova video to Carly, and Tyler says that it's already in the works. The conversation, which had so far been lighthearted, turns more serious. Dawn praises Catelynn and Tyler, telling them how proud she is of how they're taking this milestone in stride. Adoption can be a difficult process for everyone involved, even though no one questions that they made the right decision. And the two of them have really made great progress in handling the situation with a healthy perspective. As Tyler admits when Dawn comes over to speak to them in person, he and Catelynn weren't always so chill about it. “I think some of our old expectations were unrealistic,” Tyler admits. “Like, [we] signed our rights off,” he says, referring to signing away their parental rights nine years ago. “A couple of years ago,” Tyler confesses. “I was on the other side.” By which he means that he felt entitled to parental rights that he does not possess. Tyler gives an example: “I was like, ‘You wouldn’t be parents if it weren’t for me.’” “It’s acceptance of what role I really play in this child’s life and this family’s life,” Tyler says of his current perspective. Dawn, their adoption counselor, knows that Carly's birthday is a big deal. She walks them through how they might speak to Carly's parents. “If I can advise you in any way,” Dawn says. “I would say a soft landing would be a good thing.” Dawn suggests: “Maybe starting a conversation with, ‘What’s Carly doing today? How are things going with her at school?’” “You love to brag about Nova,” Dawn notes. “She’s gonna love to brag about Carly.” Dawn concludes: “I think that’s gonna be an easier entry into a conversation.” Tyler and Catelynn then speak about the various traumas that they have experienced. While most of Catelynn's PTSD arises from her childhood, as is most often the case, it's not the only source. The adoption that she and Tyler went through as teens was another trauma in her life. That is very understandable. Being conscious of that can be tremendously helpful. Catelynn's miscarriage, she says, was a trigger for a lot of that trauma to resurface in her mind. Catelynn and Tyler have demonstrated more personal and emotional growth than a lot of their co-stars. We're not going to pretend that either of them are perfect. If they didn't have flaws, they wouldn't work as reality stars. But they've really worked hard on themselves and on their relationship. That deserves some recognition.

‘HTGAWM’ Recap: If [Redacted] Dies, We Riot

View original post here:

Source: Desiree Navarro / Getty How to Get Away With Murder picks up on a fun note, with Annalise and Tegan living it up at the club, but then we get back to somber business. Remember when Nate dropped all that bombshell info on Annalise about Bonnie only to find out that the kidnapper was Bonnie’s sister? Well, Annalise is pissed at him for digging and of course, they argue about it. Nate thinks Bonnie needs to know what happened. Annalise says that Bonnie still believes the baby was born dead (Bonnie never even saw the baby) and that Bonnie’s sister probably sold the baby for smack. Plus, as we know, Bonnie was 15 when she had the baby due to rape and Annalise really just wants him to stop playing private eye. However, Nate is persistent and adds that Bonnie should know because Denver had all this info on her so there’s a chance it could come out anyway. Nate then tries it even further by saying Annalise  should be the one to tell Bonnie since she knows her best but Annalise delivers a subtle but powerful read when she informs him that he doesn’t have the right to mess with anyone’s trauma. We all know that Nate continues lurking around anyway and ends up finding the presumed missing boy (who is now grown). That young man looks nothing like Gabriel (this kid is blond, white and a dope fiend). So wait, is Gabriel not Bonnie’s son? Who else thought Gabriel might be Bonnie’s son? There goes HTGAWM with the Jedi mind tricks again! But why is Frank stalking Gabriel if it’s not that he’s Bonnie’s son? We get the answer later on. It’s because Frank usually digs up background information on Annalise’s students (to help her put together her clinic). We also learn that Oliver has been digging up dirt on Gabriel for Annalise too! Oliver discovers that Gabriel beat up a doctor. Said doctor had been prescribing Gabriel’s mother pills. Earlier in the episode, Gabriel reveals that he had a bad relationship with his mother because she had a substance abuse problem. Naturally, Annalise’s kids also decide to find out what dirt Annalise has on them too. Connor gets pissed when he finds out that Annalise is the one who got him back in school (she put in a call because he was failing). That’s what happens when you go digging for stuff you ain’t really trying to see. In other news, they’re still trying to get Nate Sr. out of prison and prepping him on what to say for his psych evaluation. Annalise coaches Nate Sr. about what to say, hoping that the assessment will be that he didn’t know what he was doing when he committed the murder he committed in prison (that extended his sentence). Annalise’s coaching works (of course), which means they get to use insanity as a defense in the retrial. The episode winds down with Nate getting DNA results on that young man he was watching earlier in the episode and he shares them with Annalise. Now we fast forward a bit to Annalise explaining to Bonnie that Nate was investigating the files Denver had on her and that the DNA didn’t match. The young man that Nate found isn’t Bonnie’s son. So now we’re all like, so is it Gabriel after all? Bonnie gets upset because Nate told her he destroyed the file and wonders out loud why he would do this. Annalise explains that Nate’s situation with his dad is the motivator, which he did mention earlier in the episode. He felt that reconnecting with his dad inspired him to try to get Bonnie to connect with the son she never had. Bonnie starts sobbing, not quite believing that Nate had good intentions. Annalise comforts her with an embrace and tells her to let her know whether she wants to pursue it or not. Then we cut to a month and a half later. You guessed it, we’re back at the wedding. This is after Michaela confronts Bonnie in the bathroom. Oliver is missing and so is Nate. Michaela calls Nate’s phone and we see that Bonnie has Nate’s phone. She looks at its screen and doesn’t answer when she sees who it is. But like, WHY DOES BONNIE HAVE NATE’S PHONE!!!! And all of our hearts sink. Finally, we see Annalise returning home. She stumbles inside of her apartment, clearly distraught, drops to her knees and completely loses it. It’s not looking too good for Nate. Keep Your Head Up: ‘Hate U Give’ Star Opens Up About Sexual Assault

A mandla Stenberg  recently opened up about sexual assault and the pain that she has grappled with because of it. ‘The Hate U Give’ star, who is only 19, detailed her trauma in a recent op-ed for Teen Vogue that was as transparent as it is poignant. RELATED:  What You Need To Know About Ford And Kavanaugh’s Senate Testimonies In reaction to Dr. Christine Blasey Ford ‘s sexual assault testimony about now-confirmed Supreme Court judge  Brett Kavanaugh  last month, Stenberg shared the difficult parts of her past. Her accounts of two sexual assaults were detailed and emotional. “My breath was the tool I relied on when I ended up in a foreign country on a three-hour train ride to find an emergency contraceptive,” Stenberg said. “The night before, what started as a consensual experience had turned forceful. Painful things had been done to my body that made me feel broken and disposable. I was unable to consent to them, and was silenced verbally and physically when I protested.” “The moment you speak out about assault, you’ve entered a battle where you’ve been appointed defender of your own legitimacy.” https://t.co/v9PGcZmHxa — Teen Vogue (@TeenVogue) October 8, 2018 Stenberg carefully explained how she was confronted by a myriad of feelings: guilt, shame, blame and vulnerability. She then spoke up for survivors who have to find their voice after trauma. “The moment you speak out about assault, you’ve entered a battle where you’ve been appointed defender of your own legitimacy,” Stenberg said. “You are given the responsibility of, after having just been subjected to devastating trauma, navigating impossible protocols, lest you be charged as the culprit in your own attack. You’re damned if you do and damned if you don’t … We should not be condemned for being unsure of how to move through pain.” Stenberg acknowledged her pain, thanked Dr. Ford’s and other survivors’ for sharing their stories and offered encouraging and healing words to those who have experienced assault. In return, many people have taken to social media to thank the actress. “To whomever may need to know this: It is not your fault. It is not your responsibility to figure this out by yourself. It is not your responsibility to sacrifice your comfort to gratify others.” Thank you @amandlastenberg for speaking out.
