Designer Tory Burch Sued For Racial And Sexual Discrimination According to TMZ reports : A black, bisexual woman has sued her former employer — the company run by high-end fashion designer Tory Burch — claiming her manager and co-workers put a big fat target on her head because of her race and bisexuality. Jessica Jones filed the lawsuit, claiming she worked at the billionaire designer’s flagship store in Bev Hills from July 2011 to July 2012 — and during that time, Jones claims she was called everything from a “disgusting” homosexual to a “n***er.” In the docs, Jones says her manager and co-workers treated her like dirt, telling customers and clients not to work with Jones because she was gay. Jones says her manager referred to Jones’ girlfriend as “that thing that comes to visit her at work.” On her lunch breaks, Jones says her manager would regularly ask if Jones was getting fried chicken. Jones claims she was eventually forced to resign because of the treatment she received. Jones is suing Burch’s company — as well as her manager and others — for unspecified damages. Burch was not accused of wrongdoing herself in the the lawsuit and she is not named as a defendant. LeAnn Rimes is seeking help for emotional issues . The country star “has voluntarily entered a 30 day in-patient treatment facility to cope with anxiety and stress,” her rep Marcel Pariseau said in a statement. “While there will be speculation regarding her treatment, she is simply there to develop coping mechanisms. While privacy isn’t expected, it’s certainly appreciated.” Rimes checked in on Wednesday, a day after she turned 30. “This is just a time for me to emotionally check out for a second and take care of myself and come back in 30 days as the best woman I can be,” she says. “All the things in my life will be there when I get out, but you know what? I’m hoping they are not going to affect me as much,” says the wife of Eddie Cibrian . “I’ll have the tools to know how to deal with them.” Rimes’ husband is the first to praise her courage. “My wife is the most remarkable and courageous woman I know,” says Cibrian. “I am so proud of her for having the strength to finally take some time for herself.” “I will be with her every step of the way.” Though she’s been a victim of body bullying (and death threats from Brandi Glanville ), her rep LeAnn does not suffer from eating disorders and/or substance abuse. By Gil Kaufman Yvette Wilson Photo: Comic and actress Yvette Wilson, one of the stars of the 1990s UPN sitcom “Moesha,” died on Thursday at the age of 48 after a battle with cervical cancer. Wilson, who played Andell Wilkerson, the owner of neighborhood hang spot the Den on the sitcom starring singer Brandy , went on to play that same role on the “Moesha” spin-off “The Parkers.” Wilson’s good friend, Jeffrey Pittle, confirmed the news that Wilson had passed in a statement on a website he set up to help raise funds for her treatment. “It is with a heavy heart that I can verify that Yvette passed away last evening after a lengthy and hard battle,” he wrote. “She was a fighter to the end, and her talent, humor and amazing friendship will be sorely missed. She will live on through her awesome body of work.” Born on March 6, 1964, in Los Angeles, Wilson backed her way into acting by taking a friend’s dare to do stand-up comedy and then landing a spot on the short-lived sitcom “Thea.” That helped her book bit parts in movies including “House Party 2” and its sequel, “Friday,” “Poetic Justice” and “Don’t Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood.” Those gigs won her the part of Wilkerson on “Moesha,” where she counseled her younger charge while keeping an eye on the kids at the Den. She parlayed that into a co-starring role alongside Mo’Nique on “The Parkers.” When Wilson’s cancer crisis got serious after years of battles with kidney failure and kidney transplants, Pittle started a website to raise money for her treatment. Dubbing it the “Yvette Wilson CANCER SUCKS FUND,” the site had raised nearly 30 percent of its $50,000 goal at the time of her death. A number of her friends and admirers tweeted tributes, including “Moesha” co-star Shar Jackson, who wrote , “F— Cancer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! … oh god … my heart is soooo unbelievably broken … I wanna thank all my tweeties for their prayers but god has chosen to take my sister Yvette home.” Also weighing in was Jamie Foxx , who said, “God bless u Yvette Wilson. Tears in my eyes. Keep God laughing” and former Fugees singer Lauryn Hill , who wrote, “R.I.P. Yvette Wilson … Life is short, so cherish yours.” A number of other actors/comedians also praised Wilson and offered condolences, including Cedric the Entertainer, Loni Love, Marlon Wayans and Roots drummer ?uestlove.

If Ron Paul was disappointed in last night’s Iowa caucus results , it didn’t show. The Republican Congressman from Texas finished a strong third behind Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum , but certainly served notice that he’s a factor in 2012. Paul wanted some legitimacy and a bigger platform for his movement, and by securing over 20 percent in the first-in-the-nation caucuses, he’s on his way. On stage before a cheering crowd Tuesday, Paul said winning elections is the best way to promote a cause, and that he was one of three winners last night: Ron Paul Speech After Iowa Caucus Claiming a ticket out of Iowa, Paul vowed to continue his fight, even as GOP rivals such as Newt Gingrich, Romney and Santorum dismiss him as unelectable. Iowa voters thought otherwise, taking to Paul’s small-government, anti-war and pro-civil liberties message in enough numbers to lift him into the top tier. Evangelicals, home schoolers, young people, moderates, libertarians and disaffected Democrats formed an unlikely coalition that led to his strong showing. Can it be replicated or improved upon elsewhere? That’s the key question. “We have tremendous opportunity,” Paul said. “It won’t be long that there’s going to be an election up in New Hampshire, and believe me, this momentum is going to continue, this movement is going to continue and we are going to keep scoring.” With a huge smile at the end, he continued, “So tonight, we have come out of an election where there were essentially three winners, three top vote-getters.” “We will go on, we will raise the money, I have no doubt about the volunteers.” Indeed, Paul’s fundraising and organization make him formidable almost anywhere. As the field narrows ( Michele Bachmann is already out), can he gain support? We’ll find out in New Hampshire.

The Lohan family members like to live on the edge. Lindsay Lohan’s troubled father Michael has been in and out of the hospital, and his court-ordered rehab facility, since his two arrests in one week late last year. “I don’t know what God has in store for me, but it must be BIG. I should’ve been dead five times already,” Michael reflected of his numerous health woes. When you collapse at an AA meeting , times are tough. MiLo says he’s finally on the road to recovery, though . “It’s by far the best treatment facility I have ever worked with or have been to,” he said about A New Day treatment center in North Palm Beach, Florida. “A little longer and the blood clot would have taken me out.” Separated from his four children over the holidays, Michael said his treatment is finally improving their relationship, especially with his eldest daughter. “The whole thing has made me look at life differently and brought me and my entire family closer, including Lindsay,” he said in a chat with Radar .
