Libya Plane Crash Update: “Not Technical Fault”

The plane which crashed in Libya on May 12 killed 103 people. The crash was not caused by mechanical failure according to a preliminary inquiry. The black box recorders pointed out that the Afriqiyah Airways plane had enough fuel and didn’t make any call for help. The sole survivor of the crash was a nine-year-old Dutch boy. Most people who were killed in the crash were Dutch citizens when the plane missed the runway at Tripoli airport as it flew in from South Africa. According to data recovered, there is no sign indicating technical failure in the plane before the incident. However, the flight recorders were sent to Paris for an examination that was overseen by international observers. Officials have also ruled out a terrorists act as a potential cause after studying the recorders. The Airbus 330 was carrying 93 passengers and 11 crew. The 70 dead individuals were Dutch citizens while all of the crew were Libyan, Others were nationals from South Africa, the UK, Australia, Germany, Zimbabwe and France. Gary Coleman Is In Critical Condition At Hospital

This is the third emergency of Gary Coleman this year. The Different Stokes star is presently listed in critical condition in a Provo, Utah, hospital. Hospital spokeswoman Janet Frank confirmed that Coleman is a patient at Utah Vally Regional Medical Center. He is listed in critical condition. He was admitted Wednesday. However, they are not conforming what department he is in or any further details. According to Coleman’s brother-in-law, the actor suffered a head injury after a fall. In February, Coleman was hospitalized after experiencing a seizure on the set of The Insider, and was also hospitalized in January. On Monday night’s show, the ESPN reporter Erin Andrews has performed well. She ended up tying with frontrunner Nicole Scherzinger. Andrews together with her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy hit the ballroom with a hip-shaking samba that judge Bruno Tonioli say “You were hotter than noon in the tropics!” The samba was Andrew’s redemption dance because she performed this earlier in the season which made the judges felt she could improve upon, which she really did. Carrie Ann Inaba told her that she moved herself up three notches. After garnering a near perfect score of 29 points, she danced a lyrical-inspired freestyle that included a couch and a bed for her second routine. Len felt that the performance was a mix of motion and commotion but still liked it as a whole. Carrie Ann called it risky, but Bruno commented that it was a bit of a “psycho drama.” The pair earned 26 points in this dance. They gained a total of 55 out of 60 points for the night. Hubble Spotted a Planet-Eating Star

The Hubble Space Telescope has captured evidence of a Sun-like star “eating” a nearby planet. Astronomers knew from the studies conducted that stars are capable of swallowing planets in orbit around them. However, this is the first time that the theory has visual evidence, first time the event has been “seen” so clearly. Hubble’s detection of the cloud enabled scientist to draw conclusions about how it was generated. The discovery was published in the “The Astrophysical Journal Letters.” Even though the planet was too far away for Hubble to take a picture of it, scientists used the analysis of the telescope’s data to create an image of it. According to the researchers, the planet is called Wasp-12 and it only has 10 million years left before it will be completely consumed. It is so close to its star that it completes an orbit in 1.1 Earth days and is superheated to more than 1,500C. I've never heard a Justin Bieber song or watched one of his videos but simply because of his ubiquity in Twitter's Trends, I've taken a disliking to the guy and felt ever so slightly guilty about it. After all, he's just a young boy and it's not his fault people talk about him. Something he can be blamed for, with guilt-free, cathartic judgement, is the fact he doesn't know what 'German' means. Even when shown the word on a card, he has absolutely no idea what it might describe though he does brilliantly explain his ignorance away by saying “Huh? We don't say that word in America”.
