George Clooney isn’t the only one who has moved on. Elisabetta Canalis, who split with the Oscar winner this summer, was spotted arm-in-arm with Mehcad Brooks in Italy today. He’s the well-sculpted specimen who appeared on True Blood as Eggs and currently stars on USA’s Necessary Roughness . Canalis recently opened up abut her relationship with Clooney. She said he was more of a father figure than a boyfriend… which is just a tad creepy.
Stars — they’re just like us! They don silly costumes, dress as sexy fill-in-the-blanks, and cavort around like giddy schoolchildren on Halloween. Some of them even take the October fright festivities a little too far (Heidi Klum, we’re looking at you… in awe). Even politicians and Governators get into the spirit come Oct. 31! Click ahead to get inspiration for your clever costumes in Movieline’s gallery, after the jump.
Alexander Skarsgard gets naked a lot in True Blood . This fact gets written about almost as often as anything else related to the HBO series, and the Swedish actor doesn’t understand why. “[Parents] in the States freak out if their kids see a nipple or a butt cheek, but at the same time they’re OK with their kids watching people bash each other’s heads in with baseball bats,” the star says in the latest issue of Out magazine. From where Skarsgard hails, nudity isn’t a huge deal. That may be due to the “cold dark winters” in his native country, which prompted the actor to joke: “That’s the boning season. And then it’s spring, and that’s also boning season. And summer’s the best boning season.” In case you couldn’t tell, Sweden is “liberal and cool,” Alexander concludes, laughing: “We f-ck a lot.” Swoon away, ladies. Swoon away.
Usually it’s their mutual director pal Lars Von Trier publicly putting his foot in this mouth , but in a recent interview Melancholia star Kirsten Dunst had a bit of a Von Diss for her fellow Von Leading Lady, Charlotte Gainsbourg . Explaining her motivations for taking the Melancholia role, Kirsten referenced Von Trier’s earlier flick, Antichrist , where Charlotte does some pretty shocking things involving rusty scissors and her own genitals: “That kind of film is harder for someone like me to get away with. I’m more in the public eye than Charlotte,” Dunst told The Guardian UK . “It’s something about Charlotte’s body, too. You couldn’t have someone like me, with big breasts, in that film. Charlotte’s thin and her breasts are small and that’s easier to watch somehow. For someone like me to do that film – it would almost be ridiculously shocking.” Ladies, ladies, let’s be fair. Big boobs, small boobs, as long as we’ve got boobs, it’s all good. Now put those scissors down! See what all the fuss is about with Charlotte Gainsbourg nude in Antichrist (2009)- if you dare!
We’re big fans of sexual thrillers here at Skin Central, so when we heard Nip/Tuck creator Ryan Murphy ‘s new show American Horror Story billed as a “psychosexual thriller,” we thought we’d give it a chance. The opening episode had everything you’d expect from the title- creepy twins, basement monsters, and, uhm, a guy in a gimp suit- but imagine our delight to see Alexandra Breckenridge show up as young Moira , the hyper-sexual incarnation of a housekeeper who most of the time appears as a glass-eyed dowager. Only Ben ( Dylan McDermott ), the head of this haunted household, sees the sexy Alexandra scrubbing his floors. Lucky stiff! This isn’t Alexandra’s first time appearing in a genre show- she bared boobs as vampire spy Katerina last season on True Blood – but she tells HitFix.com that this is one of the most daring things she’s ever done- and it’s not just the hair: “I’m always looking for a chance to play somebody who’s completely opposite of me, just because I find it more interesting. I’ve played a lot of bubbly girls. This is an extremely different role. I’ve never played someone so sexual before. ” Ok, so maybe it’s the hair: “I get hit on so much it’s not normal. I didn’t realize so many men liked redheads… People I’ve known for years have been texting me, all of a sudden out of nowhere, just randomly paying more attention to me than normal. And men seem more aggressive. It seems to be working well for me.” Members can see boob tube star Alexandra Breckenridge nude right here at MrSkin.com!

Ding dong, the wicked witch was almost dead on True Blood last night. But Marnie survived a machine gun shooting, sort of, concluding the penultimate episode of season four by swooping into Lafayette’s body. Ah, the dangerous, confusing, messy life of a medium. Elsewhere, Alcide killed his packmaster; Jason admitted to feelings for Jessica; and Eric sucked the blood from a witch’s heart. How will the season come to an end? Stephen Moyer and director Matthew Parkhill recall the eerie occurrences on the film’s Puerto Rico set. By Josh Wigler Stephen Moyer in “The Caller” Photo: Samuel Goldwyn Films There are probably are stranger, scarier things in the universe than a mystery woman from the past who can cross the space-time continuum to obsessively call your home telephone for hours and days and weeks on end. But the idea is plenty creepy as the premise of “The Caller,” director Matthew Parkhill’s indie thriller starring “Twilight” villainess Rachelle Lefevre and “True Blood” vamp Stephen Moyer. In “The Caller,” Puerto Rico resident Mary Kee (Lefevre) moves into a new home following a nasty separation from her abusive husband (“Eureka’s” Ed Quinn), only to find an even more harrowing nemesis in Rose (Lorna Raver), an unhinged and disgruntled woman living in the late 1970s. Rose somehow has the ability to call Mary’s new phone number some 30 years into the future, a seemingly impossible sci-fi feat that leaves our protagonist skeptical, frustrated and frightened in turns. When Mary’s patience for Rose’s hysteria wears thin, she learns the hard lesson that scorning a deranged woman who lives in the past can be hazardous for your health. Though it boasts a sinister plot, it was actually the behind-the-scenes mysteries that raised the hair on the backs of the “Caller” cast and crew’s necks throughout the film’s 23-day shoot. “Sometimes a shoot will take on its own energy,” Moyer, who plays Mary’s love interest and resident time-travel expert John Guidi, told MTV News. “Every day, something was happening. Things were breaking, film missing, scratches on necks … it just became this regular occurrence. Even after I left the shoot, me and Matthew and Rachelle would speak regularly, and there would be bits and pieces happening on a regular basis: phone calls coming in from people, literally prank phone calls. It was an odd, odd thing.” Parkhill said that screenwriter Sergio Casci was convinced there was a “curse of ‘The Caller.’ ” But the director doesn’t much believe in curses himself, though even he admitted to “weird” and “unsettling” occurrences. “We dressed Mary’s living room with these old National Geographic magazines, and one of them fell open to this page where there were three corpses hanging in this old room, that were identical to the three corpses hanging in our pantry,” said Parkhill, referring to a trio of bodies that play a pivotal role in the horror film. “Then when we were shooting in a supermarket, we moved one of the supermarket shelves and there was an old bottle of perfume that had cracked which was labeled ‘Rose,’ which is [the name of the film’s villain].” In the end, none of these eerie events was powerful enough to derail production on “The Caller,” which opens in limited release on Friday (August 26). But that doesn’t mean that the alleged curse of “The Caller” doesn’t still rear its head from time to time. The press junket held in San Juan earlier this week just so happened to coincide with the presence of Hurricane Irene in Puerto Rico, a threat that is now storming its way up the East Coast. As a result of the storm, certain parts of Puerto Rico — including the hotel that housed the “Caller” cast and crew for the week — were left almost entirely without power for multiple days. “It feels particularly fitting that we’re in the middle of a hurricane,” Moyer told MTV with a grin. “There’s no power. Last night, after we all left the bar, we had to go back to [our rooms] with flashlights. It’s literally pitch black in the hotel. You’ve just watched a horror film, which is pretty scary, and you’re going into your room with a flashlight and you can’t see anything. I think all of us went through some moments last night thinking, ‘This is it. My time is up! Somebody’s going to jump out of the cupboard!’ ” Check out everything we’ve got on “The Caller.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com .
Former Spice Girls singer Mel C, a.k.a. Melanie Chisholm, is critical of Rihanna for being too sexual in her videos and on stage for her young fans. Mel, who has a two-year-old daughter Scarlet with boyfriend Thomas Starr, has grown concerned about the musician’s “inappropriate” imagery. In an interview with the Daily Mirror (UK), she said : “People have to take responsibility because we’ve got to a point where sexualization of children has gone too far. I think music is a big part of that. Women in music are extremely sexual and have young fans. It is inappropriate.” ” Rihanna has a responsibility and although culture’s always changing, it’s changed too much. It needs to be dealt with. It’s reached saturation point.” “We owe it to our kids to protect them.” Mel believes RiRi makes many of her X-rated artistic decisions – whipping reporters, dressing in next to nothing, her “S&M” video in general – because she isn’t a mother herself. That’s something she hopes will change one day. “I love Rihanna, I think she’s a f***ing brilliant artist, with great songs, a great record and she looks fantastic … but she’s not a mum. Maybe if she becomes one someday then she’ll feel different. I hope so anyway.” Mel and her Spice Girls bandmates – Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Mel B and Emma Bunton – were criticized in the late 90s for being too sexual. “Yes we wore crop tops, look how much has changed,” Mel C says. “We always sat down as a group and if somebody felt something was inappropriate for our young fans, we did something about it. I think that’s something younger people in the music industry today, like Rihanna, should do now.” What do you think? Is Rihanna a bad role model ? Is Mel C hypocritical? [Photos: WENN.com]
