Hope you’re ready to see what could possibly be the sweetest moment in Teen Mom OG history! Sure, you’re probably used to Farrah yelling at anyone unfortunate enough to cross her path and Catelynn and Tyler crying about their marriage , but trust us, this is going to be a welcome break from the drama. Grab your tissues, because it’s about to get adorable in here. Taylor McKinney Explains His Relationship with Bentley This is a sneak peek from next week’s episode, and if you didn’t appreciate Maci Bookout’s brand new husband already, you sure as hell will now. In this clip, Taylor McKinney has a couple of friends over to look at his new baby, Maverick, and to drink some beers. Taylor’s buddies ask him what it’s like to be a father to three kids, and while Taylor admits it’s chaotic, he seems to be very happy. He mentions that Bentley, Maci’s son with Ryan Edwards, is with his father at the moment, and one of his friends points out that it’s a “scary thought, when they’re over at someone else’s house and you don’t know how they’re getting parented or how people are treating them.” It’s a fair point, and it only gets fairer when you consider that a great deal of people seem to think that Ryan is possibly on drugs at the moment . Throw that on top of Ryan’s general disinterest in parenting, and it must be hard for Taylor and Maci to send Bentley over to be with him. But, as Taylor’s buddy tells him, “Later in life, Bentley will realize that you don’t have to do anything that you do. Being a stepdad, you’re there by your own choice. He’ll appreciate it. I mean, it’s big.” And that’s when Taylor began a heartfelt, touching little speech about what Bentley means to him. And it is amazing . “I don’t feel like I’m doing anything extra,” Taylor says. “It’s just the way I was raised. I’m just going what I’m supposed to do.” “I knew early on, before I moved out here, the role I was taking on and I wasn’t going to come into his life and leave. If I was going to come in, I was going to be a father figure and teach him everything my dad taught me.” “So I don’t feel like I treat Bentley any different than I would treat Jayde or Maverick. To me, he’s mine, and not that I’m trying to replace Ryan, it’s just that when he lives over here, I don’t want him to feel any different. I don’t want him to feel like he’s a stepson and I’m favoring them.” “If anything, I feel like I go out of my way to put him first.” Taylor then, if you can even believe it, shows off a tattoo of an anatomical heart with three names surrounding it: Jayde, Maverick, and Bentley. It’s just so nice to see a guy on Teen Mom actually be a good guy, you know? Right now, Teen Mom OG features Tyler Baltierra, who, while usually sweet, has been acting like a real jackass lately towards Catelynn Lowell. There’s Matt Baier, Amber Portwood’s guy, who is a well-documented deadbeat dad and who is just generally shady. Along with Matt, there’s also Gary Shirley, the father of Amber’s daughter, Leah, who’s always trying to upset or hurt Amber. Then there’s Simon Saran, Farrah Abraham’s sometimes boyfriend, and you know any guy who made the choice to date Farrah can’t be great. And, of course, there’s Ryan Edwards, Bentley’s father … though he hasn’t acted like a father for most of Bentley’s life. The flaming Hindenberg wreckage that Donald Trump calls a presidential campaign inched ever closer to self-parody Wednesday night thanks to the revelation that Trump once entered into a professional relationship with a remorseless bloodthirsty beast. No, not Ted Cruz. We’re talking about the revelation that Trump once asked O.J. Simpson to appear on Celebrity Apprentice . Yes, well after O.J. was controversially acquitted of the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman, Trump thought it would be a good idea to have the former NFL running back/probable cold-blooded killer star on his goofy reality show. You may be thinking, “Hey, Trump’s pretty dumb. Maybe he’s one of those people who genuinely believes O.J. is innocent!” Nope. Turns out that Trump totally thinks O.J. is a double murderer and wanted him to star on his show anyway, because ratings. Like the revelation that Trump likes to refer to his daughter, Ivanka, as a “piece of ass,” this one comes to us courtesy of Howard Stern, who apparently has a snake charmer-like ability to get Trump to spill embarrassing details about his past. “I do have to tell you about O.J. and The Apprentice ,'” Trump told Stern in a July 2008 interview. “NBC went totally crazy when I wanted to put O.J. on The Apprentice .” Yeah, they went “totally crazy” for not wanting to put one of the most hated men in America on an already poorly-rated reality show. What a bunch of uptight squares, right? Shockingly, Trump confirms that he stopped playing golf with Simpson when he “realized he killed his wife,” but he was willing to overlook that indiscretion in order to boost his numbers in the 18-49 demo. Asked why he would consider such a bizarre ratings stunt, Trump replied as only Trump can: “In your business, there’s a thing called ratings,” the real estate mogul told Stern. “And, you know you can come up with a cure for cancer – I found out a lot about your business – because, hey, I’m the biggest star. I’m now the biggest star. “So I know that if you come up with a cure for cancer, and if you put it on, and if it doesn’t get ratings, they will not broadcast it.” Trump added that he’d rather have O.J. appear on camera in a blood-splattered Bills jersey with a knife between his teeth than eradicate one of the deadliest diseases on the planet: “So, you come with a cure for a disease, no good. Now, I know this if I put O.J. on huge ratings. Oh, forget it, 35 million people.” Asked if he went so far as to contact Simpson about the gig, Trump once again offered a reply that can only be described as Trumpian: “I don’t want to go into it, but O.J. would have done it. I can’t go into the details,” the 70-year-old said. “I hadn’t spoken to him in years, I don’t like people that kill their wives. Does that make sense? Does that make me a disloyal person?” So along with POWs, add “people who kill their wives” to the list of things the Donald doesn’t care for. Of course, this is just the latest in a series of bizarre interactions between Trump and NBC . Most recently, the footage of Trump boasting about sexual assault that leaked online was shot for an NBC-owned show ( Access Hollywood ) on the set of a different NBC series ( Days of Our Lives ). Donald Trump & Billy Bush: Lewd Comments Caught on Video Prior to that, the network had been accused of both hampering Trump’s campaign and helping to humanize him to voters. The former allegations come from the Trump campaign, of course, while the latter originated with media analysts who believe Matt Lauer went easy on Trump during September’s Commander-In-Chief Forum. Many also believe that Jimmy Fallon’s interview with Trump the same month was designed to make the GOP nominee more relatable to voters. Trump described his friendship with O.J. – and bizarre contempt for murder victim Nicole Brown Simpson – in a 2004 interview: “I’m sitting having dinner and O.J. came up to me — I was sitting with very important people, big bankers, nobody that you know, big, big bankers, and we were sitting there, there were six of us, and O.J. came up,” Trump said. She came over and she really embarrassed him, she was screaming at him. She didn’t care. And that was before The Apprentice so she didn’t give a damn about me. Because he kissed up to The Donald, the future for Billy Bush is all but over at The Today Show. According to both The Hollywood Reporter and The Los Angeles Times, the embattled anchor is negotiating his way off the morning program. It is expected that he will leave under what both sides will likely deem some kind of “mutual” arrangement, with a buyout involved and Bush avoiding the fate of actually being fired. But his departure comes as no surprise. Bush has been in the center of the news for all the wrong reasons for several days now. On Friday afternoon, The Washington Post released a video from 2005. It featured Bush and Donald Trump laughing about the latter’s sexual exploits with women, as Bush egged Trump on and found his description of how he just grabs a female by the genitals whenever he feels like it to be hilarious. Totally cool and awesome and hilarious. The stars were aboard an Access Hollywood bus, on the way to the set of Days of Our Lives, when Bush spotted Arianne Zucker. “Sheesh, your girl’s hot as sh-t. In the purple. Yes! The Donald has scored,” Bush said like an absolute moron upon seeing Zucker, with whom Trump was to film a cameo. You can watch the idiotic and immature exchange between Bush and Trump below: Donald Trump & Billy Bush: Lewd Comments Caught on Video Soon after the tape went viral and Trump’s campaign when into a tailspin, Bush issued an apology. “Obviously I’m embarrassed and ashamed,” he said on Friday. “It’s no excuse, but this happened eleven years ago – I was younger, less mature, and acted foolishly in playing along. I’m very sorry.” As far as apologies go, it’s a solid one. It’s simple, contrite and to the point. But it also appears to be a case of way too little, way too late. According to The Los Angeles Times, female producers and personalities on The Today Show made it known since this news broke that they don’t want to work with Bush. A previous report had said Bush wasn’t very popular on set even before this video went public. With Today locked in an ongoing ratings battle with Good Morning America, the program cannot afford this kind of publicity. It also cannot afford guests canceling an appearance with Bush and heading over to GMA instead. Bush only joined NBC News in August as co-host of the show’s third hour, alongside Al Roker and Tamron Hall; it didn’t help his cause that Bush was so new to the series. “He doesn’t have enough time there to warrant anyone of substance going out of their way to help him,” said a Times insider. It’s also worth noting that females represent 68% of the audience in this third hour. So it’s pretty easy math and logic. It’s not hard to see why producers saw no way to move forward with Bush. The annoying host has allegedly been distraught ever since the video emerged last week, but he’ll probably end up with a big six or even seven-figure buyout check after all is said and done. So life could be worse for Billy Bush. It also helps a little that the other men on this scandalous video is running to be President of the United States. Donald Trump has sucked up most of the negative attention, similar to how Bush is sucking up to him in the video. Both of these guys suck, pretty much.
