Suge Knight is going to be just fine. The rap mogul has been released from the hospital after surviving six gunshot wounds sustained Sunday morning. Knight, 49, was sent home from Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai hospital Wednesday. Reports say he is healing well and will not need rehab, just follow-up visits. Suge Knight took the bullets at a pre-VMAs bash hosted by Chris Brown at West Hollywood hotspot 1Oak, in what local police believe was a gang-related shooting . The gunman who shot at Suge (or possibly tried to assassinate Chris Brown ) is still at large, despite being caught on the security cameras at 1Oak. Knight, Brown and rapper Game, all of whom have Bloods gang ties, were all present. No one has come forward to ID the shooter … for obvious reasons. Don’t look for Suge to finger anyone, either. In fact, he reportedly feigned being sedated as soon as cops began asking questions about it in the hospital. The incident wasn’t the first time that the former CEO and co-founder of Death Row Records was involved in a shooting (nor will it be the last, we’re guessing). In 2005, Knight was shot in the leg at Kanye West’s pre-VMAs party in Miami. Suge was also in the car with rapper Tupac Shakur when he was fatally shot in 1996. Well, maybe fatally. Despite Suge Knight’s claims that Tupac is still alive , the iconic rapper was actually murdered in 1996. When he was still with us Shakur, of course, was famously devoted to the “thug life” and his newly revealed final words show that he stuck his ideals until the very end. What were those ideals? Never snitch; never give in to authority figures; and – perhaps most importantly – f–k the police! Yes, TMZ reports that Tupac’s last words – spoken to a police officer – were “F–k you!” This, according to Las Vegas Police Department officer Chris Carroll who says he pulled Pac from the car and tried to pump him for information about his shooter’s identity before the rapper slipped out of consciousness forever. Carroll recounts the events of that fateful night thusly: “I look down and I realize that is Tupac Shakur.” “I’m looking at Tupac and he’s trying to yell at Suge and just sort of ignoring me and I’m asking him ‘Who shot you? Instead of revealing his shooter’s identity, however, Pac replied with a terse two word message that Officer Carroll will never forget. Carroll followed Tupac to the hospital in hopes of getting a “dying declaration,” which would’ve been considered valid testimony in the case of a murder trial. Sadly, Pac never emerged from the coma he slipped into on the scene and he died six days later. His murder remains unsolved and “f–ck you” were the last two words he ever spoke. Samantha Harris is safe and in seemingly good spirits after undergoing a double mastectomy this week. The former Dancing with the Stars co-host, who opened up in April after her breast cancer diagnosis , Tweeted an update to fans today that included a note of gratitude for her doctors. “Made it thru grueling double mastectomy #surgery. Thanks to all of my amazing surgical team,” Harris wrote online. She also joked about her the surgical lines on her chest, referring to the scars as “art.” Harris found a lump in her right breast in a routine self-examination last fall. She has two daughters – Josselyn, 6, and Hillary, 3 – and said she and her husband struggled with how to break the news to them. “The day we found out while it was still fresh in our minds, we made a video,” Harris said. “I don’t know if we’ll end up showing it to them, but at least we have the option We send this brave star our very best.
