He starred in all five seasons of the sitcom. “It is with great sadness that we announce the untimely passing of our beloved Son, father, brother, husband, and friend Tommy Mykhal Ford,” Ford’s family said in a statement obtained by People Magazine. “On behalf of the family, we would like to thank everyone for their love, support and prayers. Funeral arrangements will be forthcoming. “Please respect the privacy of the Ford family during our time of grief.” According to TMZ, the veteran actor had been hospitalized and on life support after suffering a ruptured aneurysm in his abdomen. The exact cause of death is unknown at this time, but it was related to this unfortunate medical incident. Ford portrayed Tommy Strawn on Martin, which ran from 1992 to 1997. He remained close to most of his co-stars over the years, most notably Tichina Arnold. People reports that she “dropped everything” to be with him in his final days, writing: “She just dropped everything to fly out there. She was supposed to be on a carpet, but this is way more important. Billy Bush and The Today Show: It’s Over!

Because he kissed up to The Donald, the future for Billy Bush is all but over at The Today Show. According to both The Hollywood Reporter and The Los Angeles Times, the embattled anchor is negotiating his way off the morning program. It is expected that he will leave under what both sides will likely deem some kind of “mutual” arrangement, with a buyout involved and Bush avoiding the fate of actually being fired. But his departure comes as no surprise. Bush has been in the center of the news for all the wrong reasons for several days now. On Friday afternoon, The Washington Post released a video from 2005.  It featured Bush and Donald Trump laughing about the latter’s sexual exploits with women, as Bush egged Trump on and found his description of how he just grabs a female by the genitals whenever he feels like it to be hilarious. Totally cool and awesome and hilarious. The stars were aboard an Access Hollywood bus, on the way to the set of Days of Our Lives, when Bush spotted Arianne Zucker. “Sheesh, your girl’s hot as sh-t. In the purple. Yes! The Donald has scored,” Bush said like an absolute moron upon seeing Zucker, with whom Trump was to film a cameo. You can watch the idiotic and immature exchange between Bush and Trump below: Donald Trump & Billy Bush: Lewd Comments Caught on Video Soon after the tape went viral and Trump’s campaign when into a tailspin, Bush issued an apology. “Obviously I’m embarrassed and ashamed,” he said on Friday. “It’s no excuse, but this happened eleven years ago – I was younger, less mature, and acted foolishly in playing along. I’m very sorry.” As far as apologies go, it’s a solid one. It’s simple, contrite and to the point. But it also appears to be a case of way too little, way too late. According to The Los Angeles Times, female producers and personalities on The Today Show made it known since this news broke that they don’t want to work with Bush. A previous report had said Bush wasn’t very popular on set even before this video went public. With Today locked in an ongoing ratings battle with Good Morning America, the program cannot afford this kind of publicity. It also cannot afford guests canceling an appearance with Bush and heading over to GMA instead. Bush only joined NBC News in August as co-host of the show’s third hour, alongside Al Roker and Tamron Hall; it didn’t help his cause that Bush was so new to the series. “He doesn’t have enough time there to warrant anyone of substance going out of their way to help him,” said a Times insider. It’s also worth noting that females represent 68% of the audience in this third hour. So it’s pretty easy math and logic. It’s not hard to see why producers saw no way to move forward with Bush. The annoying host has allegedly been distraught ever since the video emerged last week, but he’ll probably end up with a big six or even seven-figure buyout check after all is said and done. So life could be worse for Billy Bush. It also helps a little that the other men on this scandalous video is running to be President of the United States. Donald Trump has sucked up most of the negative attention, similar to how Bush is sucking up to him in the video. Both of these guys suck, pretty much. Donald Trump: Caught Making VERY Lewd Comments What are the odds that Bush ends up working for the “news” network you just know Trump will start after he loses the election? We put them at 3:1.

Shannen Doherty Shares Moving Tribute to Husband on Instagram

It’s been over a year since  Shannen Doherty revealed that she’s battling breast cancer . During that time, the actress has been remarkably candid about her difficult journey, opening up to fans about emotional milestones along the way. When Doherty shaved her head because she was losing her hair as a result of chemotherapy treatments, she posted a photo of the moment on her Instagram page. Earlier this month, she triumphantly shared the news that she’s almost done with chemotherapy . Now that there’s a light at the end of her very long, dark tunnel, Doherty is making a point to thank those who helped guide her on her path to recovery. Doherty has been effusive in her praise for her oncologist, Dr. Lawrence Piro. She’s expressed her gratitude to her network of supportive friends who stood by her in her darkest hour. And today, she took time out to thank the man who held her hand as she faced the fight of her life. Doherty married Kurt Iswarienko  in 2011. Today, she shared a photo from their wedding (above) on Instagram, along with the following caption: “Our wedding was exceptional and not for the big event it was. It was exceptional because we committed for better or worse, in sickness or in health to love and cherish one another.” “Those vows have never meant more than they do now. Kurt has stood by my side thru sickness and makes me feel more loved now than ever. “I would walk any path with this man. Take any bullet for him and slay every dragon to protect him. He is my soul mate. My other half. I am blessed.” During a Stand Up to Cancer event in Los Angeles earlier this month, Doherty revealed that her battle with cancer has actually strengthened her marriage: “My marriage was always fantastic,” she told Entertainment Tonight . “but it’s even better now.” She added: “It’s not just the people who have cancer. It’s the families too that go through it that it’s very hard on.” Asked about his role in his wife’s recovery, Iswarienko downplayed his contribution: “I have the easy part,” he told ET. “Just being a support system for her… I wish I could do it for her, you know?” Our thoughts are with Doherty and Iswarienko as the two of them continue their fight against one of the toughest opponents imaginable.

Gary Glasberg Dies; NCIS Creator Was 50

Gary Glasberg, a giant in the world of television, passed away on Wednesday of unknown causes. He was 50 years old. CBS confirmed the news to Variety, saying Glasberg died in his sleep. No other information is available at this time. At the time of his death, Glasberg was serving as the showrunner of television’s most-watched program, NCIS. He also created its spinoff, NCIS: New Orleans, which premiered in 2014 and worked as a producer on NCIS: Los Angeles. Stunned by the news, the NCIS cast released the following statement on Twitter in response to Glasberg’s passing: “Gary was our rock, our cheerleader, our team captain. He inspired us with his leadership, his creative instincts and keen insight. “NCIS will not be the same without him, and each of us will miss his smiling face and unwavering humor, which lifted us every day.” Glasberg worked on award-winning shows for seven years. Glasberg began his TV career in 1993, penning episodes of Rugrats and Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. In 2001, he wrote what would be the first of multiple scripts for NBC’s Crossing Jordan, on which he eventually was named a co-producer. He then went on to serve as a co-executive producer on CBS’ The Mentalist and Shark, along with Bones on Fox. He is survived by his wife, screenwriter Mimi Schmir, and two sons, Dash and Eli, as well as his mother and father. We have lost a cherished friend, gifted creative voice, respected leader and, most memorably, someone whose warmth and kindness was felt by all around him.” CBS Television Studios boss David Stapf went on to remember Glasberg as someone who “epitomized the word mensch and brought kindness, integrity and class to everything he did. “His remarkable talent as a writer and producer was only matched by his ability to connect with people.” View Slideshow: Celebrities Who Passed Away in 2016: Gone, But Not Forgotten NCIS and Bull star Michael Weatherly, who played Anthony “Tony” DiNozzo on the hit drama for 13 seasons before departing last year, mourned Glasberg’s loss via a tweet on Wednesday, along with his other ex-cast members. “What sad a day this is,” Weatherly wrote. “Gary Glasberg was a gentle man and gentleman loved by so many people. Stevie J and Joseline: FIRED From Love & Hip Hop Atlanta!?

Are the tumultuous, tawdry, terrible twosome of Stevie J and Joseline Hernandez getting the boot from Love & Hip Hop Atlanta? A series of new reports in recent days suggest that the VH1 series’ best known stars may not be coming back for Season 6. Can we really put any sort of stock in that, though? According to Starcasm, Stevie J and Joseline have allegedly been told that their (large) contracts won’t be renewed for the new season. This talk has not been confirmed, but it makes you wonder. The drama between the two of them has been legendary, and real life and reality TV have blended together like never before of late. If you watch Love & Hip Hop Atlanta online , what you’ve been seeing – especially in this past year – is the VH1 beast eating its own tail. Even before Season 5 began airing, drama between Stevie J and Joseline was playing out online and escalating as the season progressed. By its end, Joseline accused Stevie J of molesting his daughter with Mimi Faust and said she passed a polygraph proving he loves gay porn . Yes, both of those things already happened. Crazily, that was not even the end of it. Stevie later confessed in a radio interview that he and his “wife” had never actually been married. Then, to top it all off, Hernandez got pregnant (supposedly) and disavowed Stevie … who may also be expecting another kid of his own. This all came to a head on the Season 5 reunion, obviously, boosting the show’s ratings higher than ever even as credibility suffered. Funny how that works. Not that seems to matter for the series’ viewers or tweeters, both of which reached record levels this spring. All of which brings us to today and talk that their “contracts for the VH1 show have not been renewed” and “ will not be renewed for Season 6 .” However … Both are reportedly in talks for spinoff shows; Stevie J’s is tentatively titled The Jordans, featuring the producer and his extended family. Stevie’s real name is Steven Jordan, and he has a lot of kids and baby mamas. Joseline’s alleged spinoff would focus on her pregnancy. Whether or not she’s actually pregnant, or Young Dro is the father, remain to be seen – but that’s neither here nor there at this juncture. Again, all of this is unconfirmed, so take it with a grain – nay, a boulder – of salt. Ditto Mimi Faust and her own recent cryptic comments. Mimi tweeted out “Goodbye Season 6” and stated she is on to “bigger and better things” while sharing a photo of herself and her agent. Are we suddenly looking at a mass exodus?! View Slideshow: Joseline and Stevie J: Love & Hip Hop Atlanta Feud Goes NUCLEAR! D. Smith is also said to be on the fence about returning, hinting on social media posts over the past few months that he may also peace out. That would leave the show down many cast members heading into Season 6, but remember that social media is a huge marketing tool. VH1, perhaps more than any other network, uses Twitter and the like to build buzz for its on- and off-screen drama, to massive success. Don’t be surprised when everyone re-ups for new deals just in time to resume filming, and for the contrived drama to be literally unprecedented. Well, maybe not unprecedented. There was this … Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta Fight Video

Will & Grace Cast Reunites, Remains as Cute as Ever

Some totally adorable things never change. Over the weekend, the core four cast members on one of the most iconic sitcoms in TV history came back together to melt down Instagram a bit. We’re talking about Debra Messing, Eric McCormack, Megan Mullally and Sean Hayes of Will & Grace fame. And, yes, we just referred to Will & Grace as an “iconic sitcom.” And we challenge anyone to say differently. It ran on NBC from 1998-2006, making it memorable based on duration alone. But it was also one of the first programs to center on not just one, but two openly gay characters. The premise of Will & Grace was McCormack’s Will, who was gay, living as a roommate with Messing’s Grace. Hayes portrayed Jack, the apartment neighbor, while Mullally’s was on board as the eccentric and hilarious Karen. The cast has clearly remained close over the years, although this is one of the first times they’ve documented a reunion on social media. “Only smiling because of where Eric’s hand is!” Messing joked alongside the first photo above of the former co-stars, while Mullally teased on Twitter: “i’m smiling, too, and not just because of a hand.” Added Messing of the second photo posted above: “You smell the same! @EricMccormack.” Mullally, meanwhile, poked fun at her and Hayes’ onscreen characters’ platonic relationship, uploading the following photo to her Instagram account and writing: “aw, cute couple… wait.” She then followed with her own picture alongside Messing (who went on to star in The Mysteries of Laura) and captioned it as follows: “my new wife and i are so happy.” Earlier this year, these same four stars came together as part of NBC’s Must See TV: An All Star Tribute to James Burrows. Messing, Hayes, Mullally and McCormack were just a few of the many celebrities who hung out under one roof for the event, which honored the legendary director. Cast members from Friends, Frasier, Cheers and The Big Bang Theory were all there, as well. Toby Willis, TLC Reality Star, Arrested for Rape

Toby Willis has been arrested on rape charges. Toby Willis is the head of The Willis Clan, a country music group that once had its own series on TLC. According to authorities, he was apprehended on child rape charges Friday stemming from an alleged sexual encounter with an underage girl 12 years ago. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigations confirmed via a public statement that it started looking into the 46-year artist and reality star on August 29. It then took him into custody in Greeville, Kentucky after he reportedly fled from his home in Ashland County in order Tennessee to avoid the cops. Willis was charged with one count of rape of a child. As of this writing, Willis is being held without bond and will be extradited back to Tennessee. It’s unclear at the moment whether the victim was one of Willis’ own kids, who are as old as 24. His youngest is just five years old. The victim’s name has not been released nor have any more details regarding this allegation. Willis and his dozen kids rose to fame on Season 9 of America’s Got Talent, where they reached the quarterfinals. They then signed on The TLC’s The Willis Family, where cameras chronicled the lives of all 12 kids and two parents as a musical family. The second season of this program concluded in April. “We are shocked to hear the news,” the network said in a statement, following its section to remove The Willis Family from its website. A source tells People Magazine, meanwhile, that no third season is planned; the series was canceled back in May. This scandal marks the third controversy to befall a TLC reality star. Here Comes Honey Boo Boo was pulled from the air in 2014 after June Shannon (pictured) started to date a sex offender who had molested one of her daughters. Really, this actually happened . Then, in 2015, it was revealed that Josh Duggar (pictured) had molested numerous girls when he was a teenager, including one of his own sisters. His parents knew of the incidents back when they happened, but never went to the police. Months later, Duggar also confessed to a porn addiction after his name was included on a website known for helping married people have affairs. TLC has since canceled the show on which Duggar appeared, 19 Kids and Counting, but it currently airing a spinoff titled “Counting On,” which stars Josh’s sisters. Back in 2014, meanwhile, Toby Willis told WGN TV that he had a very chill attitude towards life. “We wake up in the morning and say what’s gonna happen today? It just seems like the roller coaster goes up and down up and down,” he said at that time. “After a while you quit trying to grab on and quit trying to steer, you just throw your hands up and go let’s just enjoy the ride.” We’re not even gonna try to parse these words or make any jokes. View Slideshow: 21 Celebrities You Probably Want to Keep Away From Your Children We’re just first going to say that TLC needs to fire all of its people who perform background checks, if any such employees even exist. We’re also going to say that maybe, just maybe , those who have double-digit children should be sat down on a psychologist’s couch, not placed in front of a reality TV camera.
