The Real Housewives of Atlanta Recap: Crunk in the Trunk

Golden Globes drama? What Golden Globes drama? The real action took place on Bravo last night, as The Real Housewives of Atlanta featured rude house guests, terrible friends and waterworks galore. Watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 6 Episode 11 Online First, there was Kenya, ruining Porsha’s surprise by telling NeNe that Porsha was moving into her neighborhood. Did NeNe respond with a celebratory fist pump or a squeal of you? Of course not. She made Porsha cry by telling her she’s a bad pal for not keeping her informed of this decision. The only question: Which is more annoying at this point, Porsha’s tears or Kenya’s complaining about them so loudly? Or, actually, maybe Kenya insulting Porha’s nice new home. Yup, that’s the winner. These ladies really know how to do good friendship. Of course, it’s also unclear why Porsha leased an 8,000-square foot home. For her and her dog. Yes, 8,000-square feet. Was this some kind of divorce strategy? Or is she just awful with money? Elsewhere, Phaedra made the solid point that house guests are akin to fish. They must be kicked out after three days. Seriously, Mal? Where on earth (or Mars… or Venus…) is it acceptable to show up on someone’s doorstep and announce you’re staying for two months? Kenya, meanwhile, was dealing with her own annoying house guests: her dad. He actually told her daughter she has ugly feet. Isn’t that sweet? He also refused to put out his cigars and said he’s not taking orders from women. Nice to see he thinks he’s living in 1912. At least there was some laughter, as Kenya invited NeNe and Cynthia over to paint. Are these really the women you lure over with pizza and beer and think you’ll actually get the job done that way? And, wait a second… if you’re driving a Bentley, can’t you afford to hire an actual painter? Perhaps the paint fumes got to her and that’s why she was playing with Baton Bob, who evidently passes for a “celebrity” in Atlanta. Kenya made wish to avoid twirling in the streets. You never know when an exasperated viewer will “accidentally” veer in her direction. What did you think of the latest installment? Watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online and sound off now.

The latest episode of American Horror Story: Coven featured a major death. It also took us inside the temporary truce between Fiona and Marie, while causing us to once again wonder who will be the next Supreme. But whatever. Those developments were sort of interesting. Yet they paled next to the most exciting storyline of all: Stevie Nicks stopped by the FX hit! Watch American Horror Story Season 3 Episode 10 Online The singer has been referenced numerous times this season by Misty and she poked fun here at those who believed over the years that she’s actually involved with witchcraft. Lily Rabe’s character actually feinted upon seeing the 65-year old artist and we learned that Stevie and Fiona are totally best friends. Who would have guessed?!? Nicks sat at the piano during her guest-starring stint and played “Rihannon.” She also got to give Misty her seal of approval on her biggest fan’s twirl. And then, of course, Stevie herself twirled and bestowed her scarf to Misty and told her: “This shawl has danced across the stages of the world and now it’s yours. Good luck with the Seven Wonders.” Seriously, Stevie Nicks for Supreme! Watch American Horror Story online now to catch this fun cameo in all its glory.

Samantha Scheibe, George Zimmerman Girlfriend: Did She FAKE Pregnancy and Assault Story?

In the aftermath of his arrest Monday afternoon, sources close to George Zimmerman say he was lied to and framed by girlfriend Samantha Scheibe. Zimmerman insiders say she may have faked her alleged pregnancy to keep him around, then framed him when she realized he was leaving her. According to a 911 call placed by Samantha Scheibe , he threatened her with a shotgun, smashed a glass coffee table and forced her out of their house. Zimmerman, in his own 911 call (below), says she told him that she was pregnant but wanted to raise the baby alone, he agreed, and she flipped out. Now TMZ cites sources claiming that George made it clear to Samantha he was leaving Florida, and her, before the pregnancy bombshell dropped. Samantha revealed that she is six weeks pregnant, allegedly, as he tried to break it off … which he now believes was a lie devised to change his mind . George then agreed to make a child custody and support deal (which he says she asked for), but was still going to bounce. That’s when she lost it. Things came to a head when George was packing his bags to leave, according to Zimmerman’s camp, and she made up the gun scenario as revenge. Police arrested Zimmerman following the domestic dispute. With her alleged pregnancy, he is facing felony charges. If George’s side of the story proves accurate, however, that could go away in a big hurry. Either way, it’s the latest in a series of brushes with the law for Zimmerman, who was acquitted in the 2012 Trayvon Martin slaying back in July. He was also served with divorce papers while in jail by estranged wife Shellie Zimmerman, who had been struggling to locate him for some time. Gotta take advantage of the circumstances, right? Amber Portwood Debuts New, Non-Mug Shot Look & Hairstyle!

Amber Portwood is looking good these days, and not just because she’s no longer forced to wear an orange jumpsuit and can sleep without fear of being shanked. The reformed Teen Mom is celebrating her freedom by creating a new look for herself, and it’s a great one! Check out the difference in hair and makeup: After serving 17 months behind bars, Portwood was released from prison earlier in November, and quickly ditched her previous “mug shot” makeup. Her post-prison makeover definitely gives her a softer look. Amber Portwood recently reunited with daughter Leah and baby daddy Gary Shirley (not in the romantic sense) and is trying to get her life together. So far, so good, and we can only hope she keeps this up. She also got herself some new clothes (hopefully not at Aeropostale), and no longer uses homemade, prison-style hairspray. Really, it’s all looking up. To note just how big an improvement this is … see below:

Teresa Giudice Hires Crisis Manager; Will It Help?

Teresa Giudice and her husband Joe appeared in federal court yesterday, holding hands on the way inside and pleading not guilty to a pair of new fraud charges . Now, facing the possibility of decades behind bars, The Real Housewives of New Jersey star has hired Wendy Feldman of Custodial Coaching. She describes herself to Us Weekly as a “legal coach and crisis manager,” which are both jobs that apparently exist. Feldman herself spent nearly a year-and-half in prison for securities fraud and has advised other famous clients (such as Lindsay Lohan) during their trials and tribulations. Considering the numerous charges against Giudice, is Feldman on board to prepare this reality star for a long jail sentence? “I have not been hired to prepare either Teresa or Joe Guidice for prison,” Feldman tells Us. “In fact, most of my work is well-known as crisis management oriented. In addition, I am known as director of alternative sentencing at Cliffside Malibu where Ms. Lohan recently was. However, I am acting as the legal coach and crisis manager only for Teresa Giudice.” Teresa Giudice Facing New Fraud Charges Teresa and Joe Giudice were indicted Monday on two new counts of fraud, bringing the total number up to 41. Said Teresa’s attorney in a statement: “As she did with respect to the allegations contained in the original indictment, Teresa intends to plead ‘not guilty’ to the allegations in the new indictment. “She looks forward to defending herself at the trial, scheduled for February 24, 2014. Beyond that, we will answer all of the charges in court, not out.”

The X Factor Top 10: Who Stood Out?

The X Factor Top 10 took to the stage last night, with contestants covering a wide range of artists. There were takes on Elton John… One Direction … Queen… and The Beatles, just to name a few. But were any of them actually any good? That’s the question we’ll try to answer below… Rion Page – “Your Song” Jeff Gutt – “Bohemian Rhapsody” Tim Olstad sang John’s “Sorry Seems To Be the Hardest Word” and seemed to lose all control when he stood up and walked away from the keyboard. Not much originality or emotion here. Jeff Gutt went all “Bohemian Rhapsody” on viewers, after talking about his son once again in his introduction video. It was okay. But the songs requires the right kind of theatrical performer – and Gutt isn’t him. Khaya Cohen finished in the Bottom 3 last Thursday and tried to make up for that with “Let It Be.” But the staging was very odd and there was far too much yelping. That’s never a good thing. Josh Levi told us that “Sweet Dreams” were made of this and it was a solid vocal performance. As usual, though, it was also over-produced, as the artist starting off in a red telephone booth for some reason. Still, points for being in tune. Alex & Sierra sang “Best Song Ever” and it was terrific. These two are our favorite. They improved on the original version. Rion Page was a close second, dedicating “Your Song” to her baby brother. Her best vocal to date. Josh Levi – “Sweet Dreams” Alex & Sierra – “Best Song Ever” Carlito Olivero used holograms for his rendition of “I Can’t Get No Satisfaction.” That was plaid weird. The singing itself wasn’t too awful, but not much really stood out. Except for the holograms. And that isn’t a compliment. Lillie McCloud did great work on “This Woman’s Work.” She brought the emotion to Kate Bush’s classic track and nearly made Kelly Rowland cry. Ellona Santiago went with Ellie Goulding’s “Burn” and lacked any real passion while doing so. Some pitch problems also plagued this performance. Restless Road wants to “Fix You,” per Coldplay. Too bad the harmonies were all over the place, making us wonder why Simon Cowell gave the group a standing ovation. Oh, right, he’s their mentor. What a dumb concept. Who was your favorite from the evening? And who do you foresee going home tonight?

Glee Recap: The Quarterback

After news broke this summer that Cory Monteith had died ,  Glee fans began to wonder just how the show would go on in his absence. Tonight,  Glee paid tribute to the late star  and his character in what might be one of the most emotional episodes of television we’ve seen in quite a long time. Here’s a recap of the tragic action: The episode takes place three weeks after Finn Hudson’s funeral as the glee club gathers to say their own goodbyes. There was no mention of how Finn Hudson died, only that he had.  In true  Glee fashion, characters paid tribute to Finn in song. Amber Riley’s vocals are sorely missed around the McKinley choir room. Tina still can’t get a reasonably story line.  Burt and Carole were heartbreaking. ( It was all heartbreaking. ) Without Finn around to tell him he’s a good person, Puck has decided to join the Air Force. Santana plans never to return to McKinley.  Considering the circumstances, everyone in the cast was amazing, especially Lea Michele as Rachel. What did you think of tonight’s  Glee tribute to Cory Monteith? Be sure to head over to our  Glee review for a more in-depth discussion of “The Quarterback.”   So moving! Kind of manipulative Just very uncomfortable to watch View Poll »

Rihanna Twerking in "Pour It Up" Video: GIFs Galore!

Miley Cyrus? You’ve got nothing. Britney Spears? You better “Work Bitch” if you want to compete. Rihanna’s “Pour It Up” music video has set the bar high. Or low, depending on how you see it. Regardless, man is there some Twerking in this strip club romp! Girl shakes that thing aggressively. With a purpose. If you saw any Rihanna “Pour It Up” music video behind-the-scenes teases in recent weeks, and there were plenty, you had to know what was coming. Still, wow. Just wow. Pole dancing, neon thongs, cash throwing, a standing ovation of ass clapping and feverish sex with the air? It’s a lot to take in. And raises the bar for Twerking. There’s rhythmic gyrating on water, on poles, on chairs, on invisible men who couldn’t even handle it. Check out some of the highlights on GIF loop below … We realize that a few of the aforementioned twerks may technically be pole dancing or run-of-the-mill arse shaking, but that’s just semantics at this point. Not unlike Britney Spears’ “Work Bitch” video , it speaks for itself. But unlike Brit’s latest release, Rihanna clearly doesn’t feel subconscious about it. Oh, and Miley, if you’re really trying to go all out ( pimping yourself , as Sinead O’Connor might say), you’ve got your work cut out for you next time. Rihanna’s “Pour It Up” video: What’s your take?   It’s awesome and sexy! It’s alright but a little weird! It sucks! Never saw the appeal of her. View Poll »

The Vampire Diaries Recap: Welcome to Whitmore

And… we’re off and running on The Vampire Diaries Season 5 ! Or off and killing, we should say. The premiere of this CW smash featured a pair of shocking deaths, one of a recurring character from last year and one of someone we just met. Which will have a greater impact on our heroes and heroines? And what did we learn overall from “I Know What You Did Last Summer.” Let’s run it all down below! Paul Wesley is so darn good at being bad . No offense, Stefan, but go right ahead and remain under that water for awhile. Like he did while playing the “Ripper” side of his beloved Salvatore brother, Wesley simply excels at being evil. You can just see in his eyes how much he relishes the role. Well, Bonnie’s father can’t see it. Not anymore. He’s dead. And all because Silas had to prove his wrath in order to prompt the citizens of Mystic Falls to help him track dow Katherine. But to what possible end? That’s the lingering question. Matt is The Man . He had a threesome. And one of the three people involved was Rebekah. All bow down before Matt. Bow way, way, way down. But might his sex-capades prove to be deadly? Even if he was using protecting throughout? This Nadia person showed up Stateside, gave Matt his ring back and then participated in his takedown. We ask the same thing we asked about: To what end? What does Nadia want? Delena is alive and well . We’re talking sex everything, smiles abounding, the L Word flowing. Many TVD viewers never thought they’d see the day, but it’s arrived. Damon and Elena are one very happy couple. Will it last? Let’s hope so. The series has been bogged down too often with Elena and her indecisiveness. College is stressful! All those classes. Those irritating shower scandals. Those roommates who plummet to their death from the rooftop of a frat party. I was intrigued enough by the presence of Megan and her Vervain-filled water bottle before she was killed off. But this raises a slew of questions: Who killed her? Is the campus police covering it up? And what the heck does Elena’s father have to do with all of it?!? Bonnie is a ghost and only Jeremy can communicate with her . That’s about it. Can’t say we care too much about that storyline. So we’re left wondering where Katherine ran off to… what Nadia wants… if Tyler will ever return… whether or not Jeremy and Damon can co-exist as roommate and if Stefan’s future will be filled with water and seaweed for the rest of his days. The Vampire Diaries Season 5 is off to a fast, fresh start, with a number of new, intriguing storylines to follow. Which is your favorite? And what did you think of this premiere?   So great! Pretty good Just okay Terrible! View Poll »
