What’s On: How Could You Be So Artless?

Bravo’s well-executed reality competition Work of Art airs a new episode tonight, and the challenge blends aspects of art and literature. Do you think they’ll stack a bunch of Jane Austen novels into a lifelike statue of executive producer Sarah Jessica Parker? Will they pose Tom Colicchio and Padma Lakshmi as Harlequin cover hotties? Will we live? Also on the tube tonight: the second episode of Hot in Cleveland and another grueling round of So You Think You Can Dance .

Jersey Shore Dudes Cover The Village Voice’s Queer Issue by Accident

Three of Jersey Shore ‘s leading juiceheads, Ronnie, The Situation, and Vinny, stole the spotlight from Snooki on the newest Village Voice cover. Sounds ideal for the trio, right? Particularly since Ronnie and Vinny may be kicked off the show ? Turns out the dudes may not have won the exposure they bargained for, as the new edition of Village Voice is also the “Queer Issue.” According to the NY Post , the gents didn’t know they were being used to illustrate a story about “the Jersey Shore on the down-low.” Racy! Before the umber lads start to get huffy, we advise they try something new with their connection to gay culture: Own it.

Deadliest Catch’s Stroke Episode: Did Discovery Channel Show Too Much?

After the cosmos tragically answered the question of whether or not Deadliest Catch Captain Phil Harris would pull through following his stroke last February (he wouldn’t), viewers and other industry observers moved on to the more morbid business of whether Catch should actually show Harris’s stroke. After all, cameras were everywhere on the Cornelia Marie, right? Last night’s episode finally answered the question — while raising a few more. Click through, watch the video and judge for yourself.

What’s On: Tumbling for Trivia

Downfall , ABC’ s new entry in the legacy of game shows with a “falling” conceit, debuts tonight. Could you answer general knowledge questions on a skyscraper that threatened to collapse beneath you? What if Chris Jericho was reading the questions with the ferocity of a middle-schooler who eats cane sugar for breakfast? What if the show turned into an upsetting WCW retread at a moment’s notice? With Jericho, that’s always a possibility. You can bow out now.

So You Think You Can Dance Elimination: Blame Jason Mraz!

The adorable Alexie Agdeppa was sent home on So You Think You Can Dance last night, and I didn’t buy judge Mia Michaels’s explanation that Alexie’s hard work “didn’t show” during her performance. No way. Her performance was fine — if uneventful — but I think the whimsical trills of Jason Mraz blew it for her. When you hear his faux-reggae styling, do you want to dance the dance of a lifetime? No. You want to stay in Aeropostale a little longer and pick out another $7.99 pair of cargo shorts. It’s mall music, ladies! That’s just the truth. Whatever the reason, Alexie is gone — and we have video of her ill-fated dance and Mia Michaels’s comments after the jump.

The theme of last night’s afterhours programming was unexpected common ground. On the Late Show , Miley Cyrus and David Letterman bonded over their experiences with teenage fame. On Late Night , Jimmy Fallon secured his relationship with Bethenny Frankel over margaritas and their similar opinions of Real Housewives of New York City cast mate Jill Zarin. And finally on Jimmy Kimmel Live! , Party Down star Lizzy Caplan bonded with her studio audience members who had clearly never seen her show.
