The pop star tweeted all about the party, giving fans a picture of her blowing out the candles on her elaborate, multitiered birthday cake. “Having an amazing time at my end of tour/ belated bday party!” she wrote on Twitter on Saturday. “Thx so much to the Conrad Condado Plaza for giving us a place to celebrate this tour & my 30th bday last night – we all loved the party!” But the fun hardly ended with the party. ‘It felt sooooo good,’ Minaj tweets after locking lips with Madge on set of ‘Give Me All Your Love’ video. By Jocelyn Vena Nicki Minaj Photo: Getty Images Nicki Minaj took to Twitter on Wednesday to let her fans know she was on set with the one and only Madonna . Minaj and Madonna were busy shooting the video for “Give Me All Your Love,” the first single off Madge’s forthcoming album. The fierce MC wasn’t holding back on the social networking site, giving all her Barbz and Kenz the up-to-the-minute details of the shoot. Minaj gushed about the shoot, even relaying one major detail that she hopes will make the final cut. She tweeted, “OH MY f’ingggg Gahhhh!!!!! MADONNA jus kissed me!!!!! On the lips!!!!!!! It felt sooooo good. Soooo soft!!!! *passes out* aaahhhhh!!!!!!!!!” That news immediately sent her fans on a Twitter spree, peppering the rapper with questions about the smooch. M.I.A. also will appear on the track. The rapper confirmed she recorded with the Queen of Pop late last month in New York, after speculation about a collabo between the three women hit a fevered pitch in November. M.I.A. also tweeted about chilling with Madonna on set. “Madonna killed it! A legend! said she’d have me, i said ill have her too, we had a 3sum M.N.M. MEGAFORCE @TheMegaforce thanku,” she wrote to the video director team. A version of the demo first leaked in early November. It featured Madonna and Nicki , but not M.I.A. The leak may have pleased fans, but it left Madonna and her camp pretty unhappy. Shortly after the track hit the Web, Madonna’s manager, Guy Oseary, took to Twitter to address the leak . “The plan was for new music to come out in the new year,” he said. “I’m very happy with the positive reaction to the demo, but we are very upset with whoever leaked the song!!!!!!!! we are asking that the fans please help us police any more leaks. we have a lot in store for you. but please respect the process.” Madonna, via Oseary, also expressed her feelings about the leak. “Madonna told me this morning ‘my true fans wouldn’t do this,’ ” he wrote. “Whoever is responsible for this leak, we ask that you please stop!” The as-yet-untitled new album is expected to drop in the spring of 2012 and will feature production from Ray of Light producer William Orbit. Madonna will perform at the Super Bowl in February, which coincides with the release of her film “W.E.” Related Artists Nicki Minaj Madonna

Miley Cyrus turns 19 years old today, marking the occasion in the same way she’s spent the past few months: By remaining relatively quiet. The singer/actress has not been in the news much lately, with the exception of a recent Tweet that called out her body image critics . But Miley’s boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth, is making far more headlines than his gal pal these days, thanks to his upcoming role in The Hunger Games (watch the awesome trailer NOW ). Cyrus seems content to stay away from social networks, let Liam have the spotlight and just focus on her movie career. It’s very mature of her. It’s also rather boring from a celebrity gossip site’s point of view. Kelly Osbourne, however, says she’s got “all sorts of madness and craziness” planned for her friend’s 19th birthday. So maybe we’ll soon have some scandalous action to write about after all! In the meantime, send in your best wishes to the birthday girl now and enjoy the following montage in her honor…
‘Harry Potter’ star refers to 2011 as ‘not a breakout year, a breakaway year.’ By Kara Warner, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Daniel Radcliffe Photo: MTV News After our nods to rising stars Elizabeth Olsen , Michael Fassbender and Tom Hiddleston , MTV Movies’ Thankful Week continues with — drum roll, please — the actor we’re most thankful for in 2011: Daniel Radcliffe. Really, what’s not to like about this talented young man? He’s dazzled audiences for more than a decade as “the boy who lived” in eight “Harry Potter” films and has most recently been the talk of the Great White Way with his critically acclaimed work in the musical “How to Succeed In Business Without Really Trying.” We feel pretty confident in saying that the future looks bright for this guy. MTV News recently caught up with Radcliffe to get a sense of how he’s feeling post-Potter and where he wants to be in 10 years. MTV : This is your first full year working outside “Harry Potter.” How has it been? Daniel Radcliffe : It’s been a great first year away from “Potter.” It’s been very successful. I’ve done some work I’m really proud of in that time, particularly onstage in “How to Succeed.” Just the process of doing it and doing it and doing it, I’ve got so much better, I think, during the run, as is the way it should be. It’s been a great year, but I think next year is the big one for me. “The Woman in Black” is coming out, and I’ve also got a couple other things I’ll be doing. The next two or three years are going to be pretty important, I think, and if [2011] is not a breakout year, it’s a breakaway year. MTV : What was the highlight for you this year? Radcliffe : [Performing at] the Tony Awards, definitely. We were the first show to perform, and there is just that weird moment when you’re all standing there. I haven’t been that nervous in a long time. I don’t think I was as nervous on our opening night as I was at the Tonys. I was really, really nervous. Suddenly that huge LED screen goes up, and you’re all revealed like prizes on a game show, and Al Pacino is in the front row, sitting next to Bobby Cannavale, sitting next to Mark Rylance, all these brilliant actors, and you have to do your number. That’s probably a surreal, weird triumphant moment of that year, performing on the Tonys. That’s pretty cool. That’s something I will be able to tell my grandchildren that I did. MTV : What have you learned about yourself and your work abilities? Radcliffe : I think the most vital thing I’ve learned — and this is a thing I have to adapt and be able to find throughout my career, be it onstage or film in comedy or drama — is that the more I try and suppress my own natural oddness, the less successful I am. I have a slightly staccato way of moving and talking … the realization hit me that I’m working so hard to try and be something else, and actually, I just have to learn to be my most natural self onstage or onscreen, however that comes across. That is one of the biggest lessons there is: Don’t shy away from your own weirdness. Own your oddness. MTV : Would you consider taking a role in a movie musical? Radcliffe : Yeah, definitely. My hesitation about doing this one [“How to Succeed”] is that I’ve played parts for a long time, and I’ll have spent a long time with this, and I want my career to be about getting as many different characters under my belt as I possibly can. But yeah, I would love to, provided it was the right one, because they can go wrong. They can go spectacularly wrong, so we’ll see. MTV : Looking back at “Potter” and going through the huge promotional push surrounding the final film, was any of that surprising in any way even though you’d been through it so many times before? Radcliffe : It’s always what it is. I have a slight tendency when you’re doing these insane press days where you do a few interviews then the red carpet and it’s just mad, I have a slight tendency to shut down and go on autopilot just to get through it and not feel completely weirded out by the whole thing. What was strange to me was, in a way I felt slightly bad because I wasn’t getting upset like everyone else was. I’ve seen Rupert Grint cry once, on the last day of filming, when I was also in bits, but I’ve never seen Rupert get emotional like he did at the premiere … I cannot go on enough about how much I loved my time on “Potter.” It was the most amazing, happy time, but all good things must come to an end. We couldn’t have gone on forever. As much as people wanted us to, it would have been terrible. I’m glad to have done it and gone out on such a high note and now be moving on as we all are. MTV : Do you hope you’ll continue to have a relationship with J.K. Rowling? Radcliffe : I hope so, yeah, I really hope so. For somebody that was indirectly and directly such a huge influence on my life, I really hope so. I don’t know if she’s going to write anything else about Harry, but maybe I could direct something in years to come or something; we know each other. MTV : Looking ahead 10 years, what do you hope to be doing, best and worst case scenario? Radcliffe : My worst nightmare is that in 10 years, I will be not working and not doing anything. Even if in five years time I decide to leave the film industry and go off and become an archaeologist, even if I’m doing that, that’s great, fine. Best-case scenario is that in 10 years time, I’ll have got a good few films under my belt, I don’t know how many that would be … suppose we did eight “Potter” movies in 10 [years]; double that, maybe 16? Who knows. Hopefully I’ll do a few films with very different parts, very different directors, and ideally, I would have liked to direct something by then; that’s the ambition. I do feel having spent so much time on a film set, I would have a very good idea of how to run a film set, how to lead that set and, I don’t know, I love telling stories, so I would like that as a job. ‘Heeeee’s baaaacccckkkkk,’ MC tweets Tuesday night, revealing that next project is due Valentine’s Day. By James Dinh Nicki Minaj Photo: FilmMagic Let the good news roll in for Young Money! Not only is Drake predicted to top the Billboard albums chart with his latest effort, Take Care, but labelmate Nicki Minaj announced Tuesday night that her new album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, will drop in stores on Valentine’s Day 2012. After thanking her 7 million-plus followers on Twitter for celebrating Pink Friday ‘s one-year anniversary, the recent American Music Awards winner hyped up her fans for a very special announcement. “Its only right to announce it on the anniversary of Pink Friday right barbz???” she wrote. While the Young Money raptress planned a Ustream chat session with fans, the MC eventually just tweeted the big news because of technical difficulties. “Pink Friday : ROMAN RELOADED will be released on Valentines Day, 2012. Heeeee’s baaaacccckkkkk,” she wrote. “Its not called Roman Reloaded. Its called PINK FRIDAY : ROMAN RELOADED!!!!!! 4 WORDS!!!! Love u guys soooo much!!! VALENTINES DAY biittcchh!” No word on whether the project will be a reissue of her platinum-selling Pink Friday or a brand-new album, but based on Cash Money boss Birdman’s talk of an early 2012 release for her sophomore effort, it appears to be the latter. He also dished that Minaj may even release a single before 2011 wraps up. Roman Zolanski is just one of Minaj’s many alter egos, and the news of his appearance on her forthcoming project is no surprise. Back in August, Minaj told MTV News that she wasn’t interested in collaborating with anyone for her next project and that the vibe of the LP would revolve around a certain rap persona. “I don’t know, I don’t think I’m hitting up anybody for features for this sophomore album,” she revealed backstage at Britney Spears’ Femme Fatale Tour . “Roman … possibly. But I never give away all my secrets.” Are you exited to for Nicki’s new album? Let us know in the comments! Related Artists Nicki Minaj

‘Yes sir! Jigga man is on the title track,’ Rihanna tweets Tuesday. By Jocelyn Vena Rihanna and Jay-Z Photo: Larry Busacca/ Getty Images It’s been a while since Jay-Z and Rihanna have collaborated, and the release of her new album Talk That Talk on November 21 seems like as good a time as any. Norwegian production team Stargate spilled the beans that Hova will appear on Ri’s next album. In an interview posted on Complex.com , Stargate member Tor Erik Hermansen described the track as a “midtempo banger with hard drums, dirty synths, and Rihanna and Jay at their best. “We are very happy with the song, and Jay’s verse is crazy — same with Rihanna’s part,” he told the mag. Rihanna took to Twitter on Tuesday (November 8) to confirm that her mentor will appear on the song “Talk That Talk”: “Yes sir! Jigga man is on the title track #TTT.” Rihanna and Jay have memorably collaborated in the past on her mega-hit “Umbrella” and his Blueprint 3 track “Run This Town.” The collabo news comes just days after Rihanna released the Talk That Talk track list . Fourteen songs made the final cut; 11 will be featured on the standard version, and the additional three on the deluxe version. For those wondering just what the TTT era of Rihanna will look and sound like, her “We Found Love” video director, Melina Matsoukas , told us it will match vibe of that clip. “I think it sets up definitely the imagery for the album, and it’s in line with what they’re doing,” she said. “So that’s good, and I’m sure there’s plenty more, hopefully.” What are you expecting from the next Rihanna/Jay-Z collabo?
