Early this morning, Alison Parker and Adam Ward were shot and killed while broadcasting a live news report for WDBJ in Roanoake, Virginia. The man responsible for the shooting, Vester Lee Flanagan , fled the scene, but shot himself while being pursued by police just hours later. Despite the severity of his self-inflicted wound, Flanagan is still alive and is reportedly in critical condition at an unspecified Virginia hospital. Shortly after the shooting, several sources claimed that Flanagan had faxed a disturbing 23-page manifesto to his former employers at WDBJ, detailing his various grievances with the network, and with the world in general. Now, for the first time, portions of the document are being made public, and the excerpts that have been released thus far paint a chilling portrait of a man who claims he was pushed to the edge by homophobia and racial discrimination. In a part of the document that Flanagan labels “Suicide Note for Friends and Family,” the 41-year-old former multimedia reporter explains that he was “sent over the top” by the Charleston church shooting that took place in June. He also claims that he was a victim of “racial discrimination, sexual harassment and bullying at work.” Flanagan says he was “attacked” by black men and white females as a result of his race and sexual orientation. “Yes, it will sound like I am angry…I am,” Flanagan writes at one point. “And I have every right to be. But when I leave this Earth, the only emotion I want to feel is peace. “The church shooting was the tipping point…but my anger has been building steadily…I’ve been a human powder keg for a while…just waiting to go BOOM!!!!” In tweets that he posted before shooting himself, Flanagan stated that he had been discriminated against by both Parker and Ward. Caitlyn mentions Kris briefly in a clip for the upcoming episode of ‘I Am Cait,’ and Kris feels like Kim is behind a plot to make him look like an insensitive dummy once again… Via RadarOnline : Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian‘s divorce was finalized more than two years ago, but the NBA star is still getting dragged into the family drama! Caitlyn Jenner tears him apart in a new clip for I Am Cait, and now RadarOnline.com has learned that furious Humphries thinks Kardashian is behind it. In a preview clip for I Am Cait released this week, Jenner is seen talking to Scott Disick about what Humphries tweeted after her 20/20 interview with Diane Sawyer. “Kris… idiot Humphries tweets, ‘Thank God I got out of that family in time,’” Jenner recalls. “And just got absolutely ripped, just ripped. To the point that four hours later, he had to apologize.” Humphries hasn’t appeared on a Kardashian show since 2012, and an insider said he thinks the mention was no coincidence. Kris has apparently decided that Kim is hell-bent on keeping his name in the mix and publicly dragging him all these years later… “Kris thinks Kim was behind this latest reality show stunt,” a source told Radar. “And that she encouraged Caitlyn to bring it up for the show.” “It’s just disgusting for him, because anyone that knows Kris will tell you he is the most accepting person, and has been a supporter of the LGBT community for a very long time,” the source continued. “The name-calling is a bit over the top. If Kris had called Caitlyn an idiot, it would have been deemed transphobic. You don’t hear anyone calling Caitlyn out for the name-calling, and that is a double standard.” “Look, Kris isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed, and he doesn’t always articulate himself well, and it was embarrassing for him that the post was taken as being transphobic,” the source admitted. “What he truly meant was to show nothing but support for Bruce, and that he was glad to get away from the family when he did.” “Kris felt that Kim was unhappy with him in the marriage because he wouldn’t conform to what she wanted: fancy cars, blinged out jewelry, and living an over-the-top lifestyle. Dr. Dre Apologizes For Past Domestic Abuse With the great success of ‘Straight Outta Compton’ has also come great criticism of the biopic for omitting key details of the group’s history…particularly Dr. Dre’s notorious pension for slapping up the women in his life . After all the backlash and call-outs the mogul has faced, he is finally addressing his violent past with women that got omitted from the film. Via New York Times : Critics charge that the movie, which was co-produced by Dr. Dre, glosses over N.W.A.’s record of misogyny and ignores Dr. Dre’s history of physically abusing women. In a sign that the uproar was threatening not only his reputation but also his business dealings, Dr. Dre, who has previously spoken dismissively or vaguely about the decades-old episodes, confronted them on Friday in a statement to The New York Times. While he did not address each allegation individually, he said: “Twenty-five years ago I was a young man drinking too much and in over my head with no real structure in my life. However, none of this is an excuse for what I did. I’ve been married for 19 years and every day I’m working to be a better man for my family, seeking guidance along the way. I’m doing everything I can so I never resemble that man again.” He added: “I apologize to the women I’ve hurt. I deeply regret what I did and know that it has forever impacted all of our lives.” Apple, where Dr. Dre, 50, now works as a top consultant, also issued a statement: “Dre has apologized for the mistakes he’s made in the past and he’s said that he’s not the same person that he was 25 years ago. We believe his sincerity and after working with him for a year and a half, we have every reason to believe that he has changed.” This is the latest case of a celebrity who, partly because of the Internet, has been forced to face old abuse allegations. Apparently, this is the summer of nostalgia. A Jurassic movie dominated at the box office, a Bush and a Clinton are in the race for the White House, the Full House is returning to TV , and in what might be the most surprising throwback of all – 50 Cent is all over the news. Granted, Mr. Cent isn’t old school as Uncle Jesse or the literal dinosaurs of Jurassic World, but he hasn’t released music that anyone has actually cared about in nearly a decade, so it’s a bit shocking to see the gossip world buzzing about all things Fiddy. First, 50 filed for bankruptcy , and we all learned that while he’s far from broke, he’s got a Trump-esque talent for exaggerating his wealth. Now the Drake vs. Meek Mill beef has caused 50 to re-ignite an old beef with another early-90s relic – Ja Rule. It started innocently enough when in response to tweets comparing the two feuds, Ja tweeted, “Which one supposed to be Ja Rule?” As he’s wont to do, 50 upped the ante and tweeted, “If y’all wanna compare #meekvsdrake to 50vsRule I’m gonna need one of these n–gas to get stabbed or shot!!!!” When Ja failed to respond, an apparently bored 50 posted a photo of him with a caption reading, “Oh I herd [sic] what you said on the power 105 morning show, you f–king punk. Everybody know I put your ass to sleep.” The reference is to a radio interview Rule did last year ! Just moments ago, Ja really went in posting a photo of 50 with a caption reading, “This ho has a lot of balls! Unfortunately she also has a p–sy. Shut up before someone put a d-ck in ya mouth!” We think it’s safe to say that escalated quicker than anyone expected. Stay tuned to find out who throws the next social media hissy fit.
