Photos, videos, and dark secrets have all come under public scrutiny as hackers and computer geeks have had their way with laptops, cell phones, and the like. This particular “scandal” doesn’t require hackers or deep knowledge of data encryptions, all you really need a lil’ patience. Someone with an exorbitant amount of free time on their hands went back and dug up past tweets of NBA players from before Twitter became the phenomenon we know it as today. Some of the stuff these tweets would DEFINITELY get some of the biggest and brightest superstars in the league suspended today in light of nation’s heightened sensitivity toward basically any and everything that is even slightly offensive. With Tori Spelling hospitalized for a nervous breakdown , it’s no surprise that part of her is still struggling to understand why her husband strayed. Well, according to his friend, it’s not that complicated. He “went through the motions of being married,” and has “obvious issues” that go a long way back. “Dean and I go back many years,” Toronto native Dan Kibsey says. “We were neighbors for 10 years … [teens] until we were ready to move out of home.” McDermott’s emotional problems began at a young age. “His mom was quite ill for many years,” Kibsey said. “She had diabetes and some other issues.” “Her passing hit Dean hard,” McDermott’s friend went on. “I think it would hit any family member hard! He was still pretty young … 16, 17. Rumors surfaced yesterday that June Shannon is dating a convicted child molester named Mark McDaniel. June’s daughter Lauryn claims Shannon broke up with McDaniel shortly after he was arrested, but the network that made the family famous decided to pull the plug on production anyway. Shannon confirmed the cancelation this morning: June Shannon Speaks Out on Sex Abuse “As of right now, there will be no more production on the show,” June says in the video above. “The statement of me being a sex offender is totally untrue.” “I would not ever, ever, ever put my kids in danger. I love my kids too much. That is my past. I have not seen this video for ten years.” June also acknowledges that she broke up with Sugar Bear Thompson – her longtime partner and one of the stars of the show “We’re better off friends than we were a couple,” she said of her separation from Sugar Bear. Shannon also says that she won’t be making any further statements, as TLC has advised the Shannons to “hush, hush.” In spite of that instruction, June’s eldest daughter Kaitlyn gave an interview in which she assures fans that her mother has had no contact with McDaniel since they broke up ten years ago. “I know for a fact it’s not true,” Kaitlyn told Radar Online. “The person behind this, all I got to say is he or she is trying to tear the family apart, which isn’t right one bit.” She added that though he might seem to be an obvious suspect, she is confident that Sugar Bear is not behind the rumors. Last week, Kesha filed a lawsuit against Dr. Luke , claiming that her former producer harassed and sexually assaulted her several times over a period of ten years. Luke countersued Kesha , claiming that the accusations were part of an elaborate extortion plot coordinated by Kesha, her mother, and her new management team. Now, Kesha’s attorneys have called the media’s attention to a series of tweets the singer posted early this year that seem to corroborate her claims of ongoing abuse: “These music business a-sholes (well, Dr. Luke) had almost successfully crushed my magic. But that f–ker didn’t win!” reads one tweet, posted while Kesha was in rehab receiving treatment for an eating disorder and emotional issues. She later added: “I’m here working out some emotional trauma & abuse. There’s someone I work with that is SO abusive.” Kesha’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, also issues a statement explaining why his client waited so long to file suit: “She is not a very confrontational person,” Geragos says. “The efforts were always met with psychological warfare, predatory behavior, and things of that ilk.” “She finally got to a place where she is surrounded by people that are supportive enough that she felt like she could finally do it. She just couldn’t go on this way.” Luke had previously claimed that Kesha put off filing the papers so that she could blackmail him into letting her out of her contract with his record company.
