Casey Kasem, a famous radio personality in declining health, has been removed from the country and his whereabouts are unknown at this time. According to WTAE in Pittsburgh, a judge has ordered an investigation into the location of Kasem after a lawyer for his wife expressed concern over where he was being treated. Kasem, 82, suffers from advanced Parkinson’s disease and has lost the ability to speak. Of late, he has been in various medical facilities chosen by his wife, Jean Kasem, who continues to clash with her stepchildren. They have complained on multiple occasions that they have been barred from seeing their father in accordance with an agreement they had reached with Jean. In October, Kasem’s kids asked a court for assistance in gaining access to their dad. Earlier today, however, Craig Marcus – an attorney for Jean Kasem – told a judge that he has “no idea” where Kasem is and that he believes Kasem has been taken off U.S. soil, an admission that stunned two of Casey Kasem’s daughters who were at the hearing. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Daniel S. Murphy has appointed a doctor to look into Kasem’s care and ordered a court-appointed lawyer to find out his whereabouts as soon as possible. He also appointed daughter Kerri Kasemher as her father’s temporary caretaker. “We’ve been troubled for a long time,” Kerri Kasem said after Monday’s court hearing. “Justice has been served today.”

TMZ has released the full surveillance video of Solange Knowles’ attacking Jay Z in the elevator of the Standard Hotel in New York City. As previously reported, the assault took place on the way to a MET Gala after-party on May 5. Beyonce and Jay Z walked the red carpet of that event in good spirits, posing for photographers along the way and even faking a proposal after Beyonce dropped a ring. But some thing clearly took place soon afterwards… something that led to Bey’s sister Solange Knowles brutally going after her brother-in-law: Solange Knowles-Jay Z Fight: Full Video Punching him, kicking him and needing to be physically restrained by a bodyguard, Solange was irate at Hov for reasons unknown. Watch the video above to see Solange even smack Jay Z with her purse at one point, spilling the contents all over the floor. Following this surprising and chaotic incident, Beyonce and Solange exited the building and got into a separate car from Jay. Later on, Beyonce posted a cryptic Tweet about God and relationships . That’s great … but what the heck led to this outburst from Solange? The singer does have a history of erratic behavior. She canceled her European tour last summer amid rumors of drug use. Avril Lavigne has made plenty of bad decisions in her life (she’s married to Nickelback singer Chad Kroeger , for Pete’s sake), but we can’t imagine what the Canadian songstress was thinking when she shot the video for her song “Hello Kitty.” Avril Lavigne: Hello Kitty Video The clip features Avril doing her best Nicki Minaj/Ke$ha impression while perpetuating pretty much every negative Asian stereotype in the book. Awful as it is, you may want to watch the video while you can, as it’s already been banned from YouTube once as a result of outrage from civil rights groups. YouTube hasn’t issued a statement as to why the clip was temporarily pulled this morning. While the video is certainly offensive there are millions of hours of offensive footage on YouTube and “Hello Kitty” doesn’t seem to violate the site’s terms of use in any clear way. It’s likely that Lavigne realized some would find the video racially insensitive and is relying on the negative reaction to drum up some publicity for her new single. Avril is no stranger to using stunts to help resurrect her ailing career. Earlier this month the singer staged a fake feud with Miley Cyrus for no apparent reason. What do you think?
