‘Twilight’ Heads To ‘Family Guy’ And Comic-Con

Kellan Lutz is voicing a ‘Family Guy’ character, ‘Breaking Dawn – Part 2’ is opening Comic-Con and more, in ‘Twilight’ Tuesday. By Kara Warner Kellan Lutz and Kristen Stewart in “Breaking Dawn – Part 2” Photo: There is never a dull moment in the world of “Twilight.” The fact that we dedicated fans still have a few months to wait before the release of “Breaking Dawn – Part 2” does not mean that our favorite subject and the actors associated with it are not making headlines elsewhere. This week’s “Twilight” Tuesday is dedicated to our favorite bits of “Twilight” news percolating around the Internets: “Breaking Dawn – Part 2” To Open Comic-Con As was expected, Summit announced that “Breaking Dawn – Part 2” will once again take San Diego Comic-Con by storm. The film will kick off the festivities in the convention center’s massive Hall H as the very first panel on Thursday, July 12. As many of us remember fondly, Hall H was the site of the franchise’s first-ever Comic-Con appearance back in 2008, when thousands of excited fans made the pilgrimage to San Diego to see the cast assembled together for the first time. No word yet on which castmembers will be making the trip to the Con, but because it’s in support of their last “Twilight” movie, we’re betting on seeing most, if not all, of our favorites. Kellan Lutz Gets Animated Kellan Lutz is lending his voice to Seth MacFarlane and the cast of “Family Guy.” According to Entertainment Weekly, Lutz will appear on an upcoming episode as a love interest for Meg Griffin (voiced by Mila Kunis) as a hunky high school football player Meg fantasizes about. The show’s executive producer Mark Hentemann told EW that although Meg convinces him to go on a date with her, Lutz’s character has ulterior motives — an interest in one of the other Griffins. Lutz reportedly made a great impression on everyone when he recorded his part. “[He] got into the role and walked that line perfectly,” Hentemann said. “He was great. He was very handsome.” Teaser Trailer Postmortem Have you stopped watching that expertly crafted new “Breaking Dawn – Part 2” teaser trailer yet? Does ‘Twilight’ Have A Lip-Lock On The Movie Awards?

We’ll see if RPattz and KStew nab their fourth prize over ‘The Vow,’ ‘Potter,’ ‘Crazy, Stupid, Love’ and ‘Hunger Games’ on Sunday. By Kara Warner Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson in “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1” Photo: Summit Entertainment This year’s Best Kiss nominees are as diverse as they are titillating. Whether the smooch’s setting was rain-soaked, in a cave, seven years in the making or post-marriage, the nominees for this consistently popular 2012 MTV Movie Awards category all deserve credit for their wonderfully cinematic tongue tangos. Here’s a look at this year’s very competitive category: Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling, “Crazy, Stupid, Love” Much ado has been made over the all-around swoonworthy-ness of Ryan Gosling and the all-around likeability of Emma Stone. Putting them together in a romantic comedy where their first kiss involves an assertive, rain-soaked Emma Stone getting exactly what she wants made for one of the year’s steamiest onscreen kisses. Not to mention Gosling’s adept assist in the scene: He is a Best Kiss winner after all ( for “The Notebook” ) and responsible for one of the best acceptance “speeches” in MTV Movie Awards history. Emma Watson and Rupert Grint, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2” Oh, young love. So angsty and confusing and frustrating and, in the case of “Harry Potter” characters Hermione (Watson) and Ron (Grint), too many years in the making. Though the big moment in the movie was different from how things went down in J.K. Rowling’s beloved novels, you can still hear the collective sighs and squeals over their very long-awaited first lip-lock in the blockbuster franchise’s eighth and final film, “Deathly Hallows, Part 2.” Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson, “The Hunger Games” Known affectionately to “Hunger Games” fans as the “cave scene,” Katniss (Lawrence) and Peeta (Hutcherson) find themselves between a literal rock and a hard place when Katniss must venture out to fetch her teammate and would-be love the medicine that will save his life. Katniss’ winning argument for risking her life is sealed with a kiss. Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1” “Twilight” fans will never tire of seeing kisses shared between their favorite onscreen couple, Edward Cullen and Bella Swan. And luckily for the fans, the three-time winners know how to get the job done, as demonstrated by their passionate, lengthy and very public display of affection after being announced as man and wife in “Breaking Dawn – Part 1.” Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum, “The Vow” What’s more romantic than a devoted and doting husband? One who is charged with the very difficult task of making his wife fall in love with him all over again after she sustains severe memory loss from a traumatic accident. Such is the sweet and sigh-worthy setup for Channing Tatum and Rachel McAdams’ heart-melting second first kiss in the romantic drama “The Vow.” Head over to MovieAwards.MTV.com to vote for your favorite flicks now! The 21st annual MTV Movie Awards air live this Sunday, June 3, at 9 p.m. ET. Kristen Stewart’s Last Day On ‘Breaking Dawn’ Set Was ‘Ridiculous’

‘It was literally perfect,’ the actress deadpans about stepping on a rusty nail on her final day. By Fallon Prinzivalli, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Kristen Stewart in “Twilight: Breaking Dawn – Part 2” Photo: Summit This fall’s final installment of “The Twilight Saga” will leave fans feeling bitter-sweet. While excitement bubbles with the anticipation of seeing ” Breaking Dawn – Part 2 ” finally grace the big screen, it wavers a bit with the realization that the cast has put away their golden contacts for good. When MTV News caught up with Kristen Stewart , she told us what her last moments on set were like after filming “Breaking Dawn” reshoots. Keeping true to KStew’s honest nature, it wasn’t filled with teary-eyed goodbyes or a final empowering line from the script. Instead, she injured herself. “The very last thing I did was step on a rusty nail,” she said, “before a big promotional tour, running barefoot through fake woods.” That’s pretty typical Stewart behavior if you ask us. “I know! It was literally perfect,” she continued. “I was like, ‘I need to do this on a ‘Twilight’ set before I had to go wear heels in front of the entire world and have people go, ‘She’s just ridiculous with the heel situation.’ It’s like, ‘No, I promise you I actually hurt myself again!’ ” The filming for both parts of “Breaking Dawn” wrapped back in April 2011, but director Bill Condon revealed reshoots were in store for April 2012. On the film’s official Facebook page he wrote, “Rob [Pattinson] and Kristen will be there too, to pop in those gold contacts one last time.” But with the rest of the cast absent and the glitzy wrap parties over, Stewart said the final filming felt a bit anticlimactic. “I also wasn’t there on the very last day that Bill finished. I think he had a few pick up shots. When they wrapped me and Rob — you know, people clap for the actors when they wrap because they wrap before everyone else — it felt so ridiculous. We were like, ‘Why are you guys clapping right now? Yeah, good on you, too.’ ” she said as she began clapping and mimicking the confused look on her and Rob’s faces. “I came back to set to do the same for Bill,” she continued, “and he was like, ‘I have to come back tomorrow to shoot, like, Volturi feet running through snow.’ And I was like, ‘Oh, damn, bye.’ ” Check out everything we’ve got on “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2.” For young Hollywood news, fashion and “Twilight” updates around the clock, visit HollywoodCrush.MTV.com . ‘Twilight’ Fans Want Kristen Stewart’s Bodyguard To Protect Them

‘People now refer to Kristen Stewart’s bodyguard as ‘HBG,’ ‘ co-creator of ‘Kristen Stewart’s Hot Bodyguard’ Facebook page says. By Kara Warner Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson in “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1” Photo: Summit Entertainment Full disclosure about my love for “Twilight”: I don’t so much love the books and movies as much as I completely and totally adore the franchise’s loyal, enthusiastic, entertaining fans. Really it’s their passion and dedication that keeps me interested in the whole thing as we inch closer and closer to the release of the final film, “Breaking Dawn – Part 2.” That’s why I’ve decided to dedicate this week’s “Twilight” Tuesday to one of the many groups of fans with whom I’ve become acquainted with over the last few years, Kristen Stewart’s Hot Bodyguard , more specifically, the three lovely ladies who birthed the creative and entertaining concept: Lynsey Jacob, Sarah Morrill and Jennifer Kelley. “Kristen Stewart’s Hot Bodyguard” is a Facebook group dedicated to, you guessed it, Kristen Stewart ‘s hot bodyguard. The origin of their popular group (3,000 members and growing!) can be traced to first glimpses of said bodyguard during the “Eclipse” press tour, followed by an in-person encounter at Stewart’s NYC promotion for “Welcome to the Rileys,” and then an excellent bit of brainstorming during a walk to the subway that begot the term “HBG” (Hot Bodyguard) and the Facebook page. Since then, the ladies have kept close tabs on their man via photos, fellow fans and making the occasional trip to a major event. (I was lucky enough to meet Jacob, Morrill and Kelley at such an event, last year’s “Breaking Dawn – Part 1” premiere. “The goal is always to get a wave,” Jacob told MTV News of the most memorable aspects of their HBG sightings. “It’s exciting. Another one that always cracks me up is watching all of the tweets about HBG when there’s an event going on. When he wasn’t at the Kids’ Choice Awards, people were freaking out. And these tweets are from around the world! Half the time it’s in another language.” “I actually really enjoy making graphics and fun little [themed] pictures for the page,” Morrill added. “I also designed the shirts that we made for the ‘Breaking Dawn’ premiere last year and have already started working on some ideas for this year’s shirts and other swag. Other than that, it’s always cool to see how excited the fans get when we post new pictures or videos of HBG, especially because I’m just as excited to see them as they are! We will be representing Team HBG to its fullest at the ‘Breaking Dawn -Part 2’ premiere in L.A. in November and are excited to meet new fans and see some old ones from the premiere last year.” One thing to point out about these ladies is that they don’t take themselves too seriously. Yes, they are dedicated fans, but they also just want to continue to have fun with the concept. “When Stephenie Meyer grabbed a hold of our HBG heads on a stick and took photos with them, that was so cool,” Jacobs recalled of the author embracing their “fan art” at last year’s premiere. “We were always worried that people would think we were crazy instead of just creative fans, but overall, the page and the whole concept has been really well-received.” “My dream for the group is for it to continue for as long as possible, maybe even until a gray-haired HBG is beating away the paparazzi with his cane in order to protect Kristen,” Morrill joked. “Truthfully, when we started this page a year and half ago, we never could have imagined what it would become. People around the world now refer to Kristen Stewart’s bodyguard as “HBG.” We did that. Stephenie Meyer knows who we are. Kristen mentioned our page in an article for British GQ last year. The awesome folks at MTV think we’re cool. It really doesn’t get much better than that! The only thing I could imagine that would put a cherry on top of this entire experience is to one day be able to change the group’s profile picture to one of the three of us with Kristen and HBG.” Check out everything we’ve got on “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2.” For young Hollywood news, fashion and “Twilight” updates around the clock, visit HollywoodCrush.MTV.com .
