‘The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner’ – A Novella By Stephenie Meyer

Stephenie Meyer has just announced on her official website that she will be releasing a novella, or as she says, “my version of a short story.” The novella is titled The Shore Second Life of Bree Tanner . If you recall, Bree was the young newborn vampire we were introduced to in Eclipse (Jodelle Ferland). She was created by Victoria to be a part of her newborn vampire army to avenge James’ death. The book will be available for purchase at book retailers on June 5

Kellan Lutz Starring In The War Of The Gods

Twilight hunk Kellan Lutz has reportedly signed up to star in new movie The War Of The Gods . The 25-year-old actor – best known as vampire Emmett Cullen in the Twilight films – will play the sea god Poseidon in Universal’s upcoming action epic. According to Variety , the film’s plot centers on a clash between men, gods and Titans in ancient Greece. Tarsem Singh will direct the movie, while The Wrestler star Mickey Rourke and Slumdog Millionaire beauty Freida Pinto round out the cast.

Newest Eclipse Poster: Dark, Foreboding, Awesome

It all begins … with a choice . The time for moping around in New Moon is over, and the time to take action has arrived. Soon, so will Eclipse in theaters, as advertised in this dark new poster. Featuring Bella front and center with Edward and Jacob looking hot in back, the poster is actually a lot like previous ones for the third movie in the Twilight saga. But the colors are, like, totally dark and gloomy now. This is deep, ominous stuff. Things are about to get very real, and much like Robsten , we can’t wait for it: The choice is Bella’s June 30 . If you haven’t seen the full Eclipse trailer , we suggest you do so now. If you already think the film is being overhyped, you’re totally right … but THERE IS NO ESCAPE!

Robsten: Missing Each Other, "Counting Down the Days" Until Breaking Dawn

Fans can see them together in the new Eclipse video , but separate work demands have Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson longing for one another in real life. Rob is in Europe shooting Bel Ami , while Kristen remains in L.A., ironing out details for her upcoming film, K-11 . The long distance relationship is hard on them. “They’re counting the days till they start Breaking Dawn ,” a source reports . That would be the fourth film in the Twilight saga, scheduled to begin production in the fall. For now, the days of possible neck nuzzling are few and far between. ROBSTEN REUNION : Both hotties reportedly yearn for one. Hard. Thus, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart work hard to keep romance alive: “They’ll have to make do with calls, texts and romantic e-mails,” the source adds. Kristen attended Rob’s Remember Me premiere in NYC, but he was too busy filming Bel Ami overseas to return the favor at Kristen’s The Runaways premiere. Just the same, Robsten is not about to give up their love that easily. The couple is said to be “counting down the days” until Breaking Dawn begins filming. They’re not the only ones.

New Eclipse Scene: Edward & Bella in Bed!

A new scene from Eclipse , the third movie in the Twilight saga, is featured on the just-released New Moon DVD. Some of it was already featured in the Eclipse trailer . Still, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in bed together? Holla! In the clip, Bella and Edward are cuddled up, discussing why the immortal heart throb won’t turn transform his human soul mate into a vampire, which she desires. She debates how to tell her family they’ll never see her again. Edward doesn’t want her to have to: “You believe I have a soul. Well, I don’t,” he declares. So deep . “To risk yours, just for the sake of never having to lose you,” the sexy Cullen continues in reference to Miss Swan, “that’s the most selfish thing I’ll ever do.” Eclipse comes out June 30, and aside from the lack of Taylor Lautner shirtless , this scene is pretty awesome.
