Given author Stephenie Meyer’s close connection to Summit’s Twilight films (she came onboard to produce the final two films), the vampire saga has retained a firm sense of authenticity even as scripter Melissa Rosenberg has tweaked and added details to translate Meyer’s vision for the big screen. But a new EW Breaking Dawn Part 2 preview teases a “pretty big shock” for fans expecting stark faithfulness to the series-ender. What could be more shocking than the all-out vampire/werewolf/baby-loving party that already is Breaking Dawn ? According to EW , who has a slew of new Breaking Dawn Part 2 images including the above look at Kristen Stewart and Rob Pattinson in happier, more undead times, Rosenberg changed plot elements in the film’s last act that had Pattinson going, “What?” (Seriously. That’s what he says he said.) The good news is, Rosenberg didn’t act alone; she and Meyer supposedly conjured this maybe-huge, probably not-so-earth-shattering deviation together: Even devoted readers of Meyer’s books are in for a pretty big shock in the final third of the film, when the plot strays from the last novel in a sequence dreamed up by Meyer and longtime screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg one night over dinner. “When I first read the script, I got to that part and was like, ‘What?'” Pattinson says. “And then I had to go back a page.” Still, even those averse to change will be more than satisfied, and probably thrilled, by how the series ends. The actors certainly are. Says Pattinson, “It does it a serious justice.” The bad news (for now) is, fans have no idea how major or minor said change is. Since much of Breaking Dawn the novel is spent rallying for an epic final showdown between Edward and Bella’s army of vampire friends and family and the insidious Italian coven fronted by Michael Sheen, there’s a good chance the tweak is related to the X-Men: The Last Stand -like standoff between the two opposing enemies. Then again, since that standoff also happens to be rather anticlimactic — it’s the reason I never thought the book could be adapted easily to the screen — any injection of some new dramatic advancement would be welcome. But hey, who knows? Maybe it’s something as simple as a flashforward to Jacob and Renesmee’s happy future together, which isn’t weird at all . [ EW via CinemaBlend ]

Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis face off as political rivals vying for the same Congressional seat in The Campaign — but should Democrats or Republicans be more worried about being skewered for laughs in the August 10 comedy? Movieline pal Grace Randolph hit the star-studded NYC premiere with Beyond the Trailer for the scoop from candidates Ferrell and Galifianakis, catching up with a flurry of SNL alums, 30 Rock players, ABC News vet John Stossel and Jon Hamm to discuss the pressing issues of the day. Such as: Are babies good at improv? And yes, Will Ferrell. Anthony Weiner would make a fantastic politician guest for Between Two Ferns , if only to see what Galifianakis would do with the poor guy. MAKE THAT HAPPEN NOW. Rubbing elbows with The Campaign set, guests at the premiere party hosted by The Peggy Siegal Company swilled specialty cocktails courtesy of SVEDKA Vodka, who designed special red, white, and blue bottles to match the patriotic theme. The Campaign hits theaters August 10. Follow Movieline on Twitter .
I should admit up front that I’ve long been skeptical of Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson ‘s off-screen romance. They make a beautiful couple, as the Twilight franchise box-office numbers demonstrate, but, if you ask me, their real-life relationship has always had an odor of Hollywood hoodoo — the inspired idea of some marketing or public-relations executive who saw a way to keep fan interest in the blockbuster saga alive between movies. Then again, a slew of respectable publications and websites are telling me it’s real, and so who am I to disagree? People.com reported today , for instance, that a “heartbroken and angry” Pattinson had moved out of the Los Angeles home that he shared with Stewart, despite her head-turning public apology for cheating on him by making out in a car with married Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders . The whole episode and the media frenzy it has provoked brings out the armchair analyst in me (I do have a Bachelors in psychology, by the way) and, whether I look at this from the perspective of a couples counselor or a cultural critic, I can’t help but think that Stewart — subconsciously or consciously — is telling us that she doesn’t want us to think of her as Bella anymore. Although she seems to have become better adjusted to being in the spotlight recently, Stewart has never appeared comfortable with the insane kind of fame that the Twilight movies brought her. (Indeed, the last time she had to issue an apology was when she compared the paparazzi’s photographing of her to being raped.) I’ve never met her, but I wonder if that discomfort has to do with her self-image as an actress instead of teen idol movie star. Stewart’s excellent performances in Into the Wild and the extremely underrated Adventureland tell me that she has Oscar potential. (I also thought she did Joan Jett justice in The Runaways .) With the right roles, she could be her generation’s Jodie Foster . But at the moment, she’s got to feel more like Mark Hamill. Stewart’s headlines-making cheating episode reminds me of the furor that erupted in 2008 when Vanity Fair published a tastefully topless photo of Miley Cyrus in the magazine. Like Stewart, Cyrus apologized for the incident saying she was “embarrassed” by the photo. But the episode was really a smart bit of positioning on Cyrus’ part: the image sent the message that Cyrus was leaving the adolescent world of Hannah Montana behind. Intentionally or impulsively, Stewart has sent a similar message to the millions of Twi-hards out their who breathlessly monitor her every move. Bella, and maybe Robsten too are history. As one friend told People: “I’m not sure they’ll be able to recover from this.” I bet that friend is right. Sometimes you have to break a few hearts to get what you want. Typically, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are fighting off rumors about a baby or an engagement. The latter recently came out and said the couple isn’t getting married any time soon. But the Twilight Saga co-stars have a very different story to try and deny now: multiple outlets report Kristen cheated on Rob with Rupert Sanders , the director of Snow White and the Huntsman . According to the latest issue of Us Weekly, Stewart and Sanders – who is married with two children – were actually caught in the act by photographers. “It seemed like they couldn’t get enough,” a witness tells the tabloid of the make out session. Why can’t this be dismissed as just another ridiculous Robsten rumor? Because more respectable sources People and E! News have also confirmed the affair. The former says it was just a one-time fling. “Kristen is absolutely devastated,” an insider says to People . “It was a mistake and a complete lapse in judgment.”
Ashley Greene is boring in Nylon….because she’s fucking boring…and anyone who thinks this boxy as fuck, useless, badly dressed cunt is anything but fucking boring, is just a victim of marketing, or someone who is way too into Twilight that your opinion doesn’t matter, cuz people way too into Twilight are trash….and so is Ashley Greene, and not just because she’s from Florida, but because she’s leaked nude pics, fucked her way into a big blockbuster, even though she has no talent, and from that blockbuster decided to stay in the media targeted at to the youth, so she fucked a Jonas Brother…..and I can assume whoever else she’s had inside her has been strategic and thus explains why she keeps getting booked….because it isn’t her looks or her skill….unless we’re talking about the looks she gives when sucking a producer dick with skill that comes from experience…cuz that’s the only thing that makes sense…..Whore.
