This is so sad. Brooklyn Mom And Baby Found Dead In Apartment Prayers go out to their family. According to The NY Daily News A 19-year-old Brooklyn man wondering why his twin nieces hadn’t gone to school went to his sister’s apartment Thursday and found her dead body lying atop her newborn son, officials and family members said. Family members believe Marjorie Lyons, 34, may have died from complications stemming from her recent C-section, but police could not confirm the report Thursday. An autopsy was scheduled for Friday. Jerome Guthrie, who lives downstairs from Lyons, said his twin nieces woke him up shortly before 10 a.m. to tell him they were hungry. He went to his sister’s apartment to ask why the girls weren’t in school and found her corpse sprawled out on the bed. Her 11-day-old son Preston was lying underneath her, he said. “Under her I saw a leg, a baby leg,” he said Thursday. “I reached out and pulled him out. He was purple all over. I screamed, ‘Please don’t be dead, please don’t be dead!’ I ran out and found an officer. I couldn’t say nothing. I was crying, crying, crying just ‘Follow me, follow me, follow me.’” Lyons died at the scene, officials said. Preston died at Brookdale Hospital. Lyons’ mother, Rosemarie Garrison, said she spoke with her daughter on Wednesday night and Lyons complained of having a fever. Her father said she was taking Oxycodone for the pain from the C-section. Neighbors were stunned by the tragedy. Police say they saw no initial signs of trauma on the bodies of Marjorie Lyons and her newborn, Preston Alexander. “She was a good girl. It all started on July 9th, at 10 a.m. when I arrived to Chicago. I went to eat lunch at a cafe where Justin was staying incase he came out. After that, all I did was wait outside the employee entrance because I’ve heard its the best place to stay. I stayed there until I heard screams and ran to the front. Kenny and Dan came out and I was able to touch them. Then what I didn’t realize until later, Kenny took a picture of us by the bus. I was in it, in the front with the gold sparkly shorts. That happened around 2-ish, I think. Then for the rest of the day I stayed by the back entrance. It was myself, along with four other girls, my twin sister, and mom. I was the only one who actually stayed all day. We were about to leave until security started telling us to stay to the side. It was only 6 girls there, there were hundreds of clueless girls who didn’t even know in the front. A guy working at the hotel pointed to me and said, “Come here.” He opened the door to the garage and inside was Justin just standing there! They let the others come behind me. During this time, all they kept saying was, “Keep calm so all the fans from the front wouldn’t come back.” Luckily, we kept calm. I hugged Justin, as I was shaking and told him I loved him. I realized I forgot to take a picture, so while I waited for the others, I said hi to Scooter and got a picture with him. I said hi to Fredo, but he was taking pictures so I couldn’t get one with him. Then I took a picture with Justin. Justin’s security was so nice! They were like, “You can go, go ahead,” since they realized I didn’t get a picture. Justin was holding my waist. My mom got a picture of me taking a picture with him. Then she asked if he could get a picture with me and my twin which we did. I gave him a letter which told him how much I loved him and stuff. I hugged Justin again and told him I loved him so much. He said he loved me too and that he would read the letter. Then it was time for us to leave. After this, he left on his bus and all us girls just hugged each other, crying, we couldn’t believe we just met our idol. I bawled all the way to the concert. The concert was amazing, Justin is so talented. It was the best day ever. It was by far better than getting a meet and greet. We weren’t rushed, we could take our time with him.
