After a mere three weeks of languishing in the spotlight thanks to his controversial “Yeezus” album, Kanye West was overshadowed once again by “Big Brother” Jay-Z due to the mega-marketing force behind his surprise project “Magna Carta Holy Grail” which dropped at midnight on July 4th to some lucky Samsung Galaxy users. In the photo above you’ll find Yeezy stepping out for lunch at Marmalade Cafe in Calabasas. But that’s not all he did. We don’t know about you (or the other 2, 454, 477 currently people following Amanda Bynes) but we sort of have a love-hate relationship with the wig-loving star’s twitter feed. In true car crash fashion we’re scared to see what she’ll type next, but yet we can’t stop hitting refresh. But now she’s laid into Drake’s mum Sandi Graham. A new low even for her. Amanda initally tweeted that she wanted the rapper to murder her vagina, but then decided he had “ugly gums, uneven teeth, ugly eyes.” Ouch. This is pure comedy! Fawk Twitter, Facebook , MySpace and Instagram — our new favorite website is an “anti” social media network that helps you steer clear of bugaboos. Via NYDailyNews reports : A new “antisocial media” website aims to keep users as far away from their friends as possible. “Hell is Other People” uses Foursquare to pinpoint pals’ check-ins on a map, then calculates “optimally distanced locations” where you’ll be able to dodge them. “I actually really hate social media,” said creator Scott Garner, who tests the safe zones in a video about the project. “I had to sign up for a social media site to talk to people to get them to be my friends on that site, so I could avoid them.” Garner’s new site — more of a social experiment than an actual business venture — could come in handy for introverts seeking downtime or anyone who simply needs a social media break.
