According to Radar Online Rihanna is on tour once more after a nearly seven-week summer break, and audiences haven’t exactly welcomed her back with open arms. After a performance at the F1 Grand Prix in Singapore on Sunday night, the singer’s fans took to Twitter to blast her for being ‘disappointing,’ ‘high on tweeds,’ and even ‘lip-synching’ during the show. “Rihanna is lip-synching. From the Ex-soundman next to me,” @st_evel_ai tweeted. “Plus, right light isn’t on, on her mic.” Other fans were similarly underwhelmed, even going so far as to accuse her of being drunk and high:But at least one person enjoyed the show: Justin Bieber, in town for his own concert on Monday night, Tweeted, “Watched my girl @rihanna kill it last night in Singapore …” Hit the flip to see tweets from angry fans.
This is how break-ups happen in 2013… Khloe Kardashian Drops “Odom” From Her Instagram User Name Via InTouchWeekly Khloé Kardashian has dropped “Odom” from her last name — on Instagram. Does this mean she’s about to drop it – and her husband – from her life? Yesterday, the 29-year-old reality star changed her name on the social-media site from Khloé Kardashian Odom to simply Khloé Kardashian. Though it seems like a small change, it could be a sign that Khloé is ready to end her troubled marriage to Lamar Odom. Khloé and Lamar’s marriage has been in critical condition over the last few weeks. First, several women alleged that they had affairs with Lamar while he was married to Khloé. Then, Lamar was arrested for driving under the influence. Nearly a week after the incident, Lamar, who’s reportedly been struggling with drug addiction, checked into rehab for just one day. Instead of trying to work on his health and relationship with Khloé, he’s opted to stay with friends or at hotels. The 6-foot-10 athlete hasn’t been seen in public in a week. Might sound petty, juvenile, and insignificant, but then again, who REMOVES their husband’s last name from social media profile? Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen make for the coolest bromance of all time. Although before that word was created, you might have just called it “friendship.” The British actors recently went on a sightseeing tour of NYC together and the resulting Twitter pics are, well, the awesomest you’ll see all day for sure: “Empire State! #gogodididonyc @TwoPlaysInRep,” the newly-married Stewart wrote along with a pic of his and McKellen atop the Empire State Building. In the photo, the actors wear matching black bowler hats a la Walter White in Breaking Bad (or the two of them in Waiting For Godot ) and make like tourists. In another shot of them, Stewart writes, “Elmo! #gogodididonyc @TwoPlaysInRep,” while the two pose with a the Sesame Street character in Times Square. Quite a run lately for these two. Teenagers Trash Brian Holloway’s House In Wild Party According to The NY Daily News Former NFL offensive lineman Brian Holloway initially thought the Twitter photos showing young people partying at his family’s second home in upstate New York were a hoax. Then he saw pictures of teens standing on the dining room table he bought with his Super Bowl winnings. Holloway’s rural vacation home was trashed during a Labor Day weekend party attended by an estimated 200 to 400 teenagers. Holloway said the partiers caused at least $20,000 in damage, breaking windows and doors, punching holes in walls and spraying graffiti. He saw the whole thing unfold live on Twitter — and now he’s using the teens’ own posts to reveal their identities. Holloway, who played offensive tackle for the New England Patriots and Los Angeles Raiders in the 1980s, said his 19-year-old son, a University of Southern Florida sophomore, alerted him to the party after receiving tweets about it the night of Aug. 31. No one is safe from a slizzard teenager. Holloway was at his home in Lutz, Fla., at the time and watched as more tweets about the party were posted, many of them accompanied by photos of young people drinking throughout his home in Stephentown, on the Massachusetts border 25 miles southeast of Albany. “We were getting eyewitness reports of what was happening while it was happening. We couldn’t believe what was going down,” Holloway told The Associated Press. Yvonne Keefe, spokeswoman for the Rensselaer County Sheriff’s Office, confirmed Wednesday that a “very large investigation” into the party was underway. Police believe 200 to 400 young people were at the party, but investigators aren’t commenting on the role social media is playing in the probe, she said. No arrests have been reported. Holloway, a father of eight, said he used Twitter postings to compile 200 names of teens he said were at the party. He has been posting them on a website he created, http://www.helpmesave300.com , in an effort to get them to come forward, take responsibility for their actions and change their behavior. “Any kids where this makes sense to go to a party like this and be a part of that, this kid’s in trouble,” he said. Mad Men Season 7 is making like another AMC hit, Breaking Bad. The iconic show’s final season will kick off in the spring, air seven episodes, then take a long break before returning with seven more to end its run for good. Breaking Bad Season 5 “attracted nearly double the viewers to its second half premiere than had watched any previous episode,” said Charlie Collier, AMC President. “We are determined to bring Mad Men a similar showcase.” “In an era where high-end content is savored and analyzed, and catch-up time is used well to drive back to live events, we believe this is the best way.” The first set of episodes will be called “The Beginning,” while the back half will be titled “The End of an Era.” It’s not clear when the back half of the season will air. Adds Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner: “We plan to take advantage of this chance to have a more elaborate story told in two parts, which can resonate a little bit longer in the minds of our audience.” “[We] welcome this unique manner of ending this experience.”
