Azealia Banks Bashes Beyonce’s “Lemonade” You know that joke about Azealia Banks growing up to be Khia ? Well…. The controversial rapper got into it with author Ta-Nehisi Coates about the importance of Beyonce’s “Lemonade.” While Ta-Nehisi thought “Lemonade” was an inspiring body of work, Azealia thought differently. Twitter Fingers said Bey’s album was just the singer trying to “hop on the blackness trend” and making it about herself…after years of “avoiding her blackness.” I disagree.
