Jenelle Evans Trashes The Hollywood Gossip (Hey, That’s Us!)

Jenelle Evans is not very happy with The Hollywood Gossip at the moment. Yes, this  The Hollywood Gossip. The website you're reading right now. In a barrage of Tweets on October 5, the Teen Mom veteran took extreme issue with a story we ran earlier in the week in which we alleged that her son, Kaiser, was in the hospital following a medical procedure. You can read that story HERE . We had no ill intentions by writing the article. We were simply passing along information as we had received it and we wished her child nothing but the best in the process. But scroll down to see what Jenelle had to say in response, along with why she dragged Briana DeJesus into her critique… 1. Kasier Has Our Full Support This is what we wrote on Friday afternoon: “Jenelle Evans takes a lot of flak from Teen Mom 2 fans, but today, she’s receiving nothing but much-needed emotional support. Jenelle’s youngest son, Kaiser, has been hospitalized, and this week, she updated her Instagram followers on the scary situation. The bad news is, Kaiser is still hospitalized after undergoing multiple procedures.” 2. LIARS! As you can see, Evans took exception to this article on our site. Pretty major exception. 3. This is What She Wrote: “My son is NOT hospitalized. He’s HOME. ANYTHING for money these days, even if it’s about innocent children,” Evans penned as the Tweet to her photos. (For the record, we want to reiterate, that we simply passed along information about someone in the news; and her son, who is often mentioned and discussed on Teen Mom 2. There was no judgment or accusations attached to our post. We literally just shared photos Evans herself posted of Kaiser in the hospital on Instagram.) 4. Kaiser is Home Kaiser is now home, Jenelle wrote on Twitter. To which we say: Hooray! We hope he is making a full recovery. 5. Eff You, Briana! How did DeJesus get involved in this? She shared a link to our story on her Twitter page and she wrote: “Kaiser HOSPITALIZED following ABUSE allegations.” Jenelle responded to that Tweet with the photo above. 6. Whoa There! We did not say or even hint that Kaiser was in the hospital due to any form of abuse. We wished him well and wrote very clearly that he had to undergo some unfortunate procedures. View Slideshow

Chrissy Teigen SHREDS Critic of Post-Baby Body!

One of the world’s favorite celebrity couples, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend, graced the 2018 Emmy Awards with their delightful presence.  Unfortunately, one troll who isn’t aware of how Chrissy deals with shamers decided to try to body-shame her, asking if she’s pregnant. Chrissy took to Twitter to remind the world that she’s the queen of clapback. While the rest of us were groaning about who was robbed at the 2018 Emmy Awards , one alleged “fan” was concerned about Chrissy Teigen’s appearance. “I’m asking this with the utmost respectful,” the tweet began, featuring a minor typo. The tweet continues, asking a very impertinent question: “but is @chrissyteigen pregnant again?” Oh wow. Pro-tip, folks: there are very few respectful ways to ask if someone is pregnant if all that you have to go on is a glimpse of them in a dress. Chrissy, even the queen of Twitter and wholly unafraid to clap back, quoted the tweet with some words of her own. “I just had a baby,” her retort begins. Chrissy continues: “but thank you for being soooo respectful.” She and John Legend welcomed baby #2 back in May. Miles Theodore Stephens is just four months old. Contrary to what some fitness bloggers and certain celebrities might make people believe, four months is not really a lot of time to recover from childbirth. That wasn’t the harshest or most epic clapback that we’ve seen, but it was with a purpose. Chrissy’s response was proportionate. She has spoken about her post-baby body in the past, even giving fans a glimpse of her stretch marks over the summer. Chrissy, who previously worked as a model (though she laughs when people describe her that way now), discussed how social media can give people skewed ideas about the human body. “Instagram is crazy,” she admited. “I think it’s awesome people have killer bodies and are proud to show them off (I really do!!)” She continued: “but I know how hard it can be to forget what (for lack of a better word) regular ol’ bodies look like when everyone looks bonkers amazing.” First of all, it’s great that she said bonkers because that word does not get used often enough. Second of all, Chrissy still had more to say. In another tweet, she wrote: “Also I don’t really call this ‘body confidence’ because I’m not quite there yet.” “I’m still super insecure,” Chrissy admitted. She concluded: “I’m just happy that I can make anyone else out there feel better about themselves!” Chrissy is also not afraid to poke fun at herself, as she recently admitted on Twitter that she mispronounces her own last name. When a fan pointed out that people say it incorrectly, Chrissy tweeted “word! gave up a long time ago. last name is tie-gen not tee-gen.” Chrissy then went on to acknowledge that she herself will pronounce her own name “tee-gen.” Chrissy tweeted: “I even correct people when they say it correctly. it’s all v effed up.” She then lampooned herself for not being assertive about her name or anything else, writing: “Wrong order? I’ll eat it. Taxi going to the wrong airport? I’ll change my flight.” Chrissy is so good. View Slideshow: Chrissy Teigen Livetweets 8-Hour Flight From LAX to … LAX

Azealia Banks to Elon Musk: Sorry! You’re Not Really a Balding Drug Addict!

One of the most amusing gossip items of August had to do with the highly unexpected feud between Azealia Banks and Elon Musk . In case you’re unfamiliar with those names, they perfectly represent the two main archetypes of American egomania: Banks is the gifted artist whose rage over the fact that she still has to ride the subway like a plebe has driven her to repeatedly sabotage her own career. Conversely, Musk is quite successful financially but is consistently driven mad over the world’s unwillingness to recognize him as the heir to Einstein, Edison, Henry Ford, and Jesus H. Christ. In other words, they may not seem to have much in common — Banks is a self-made creative, whereas Mush is a left-brain cyborg who could’ve spent his entire life blowing his family’s emerald mine fortune. But at the end of the day, Banks and Musk are just two sides of the same narcissistic coin. Perhaps that’s why they clashed upon first meeting, then later realized they were destined to join forces. Allow us to explain: Earlier this month, NYC-based Banks spent some time in LA with the intention of collaborating on a song with Musk’s girlfriend, Grimes. So she paid a visit to Musk’s sprawling mansion and found it to have less of a “Tony Stark” vibe and more of an “Allison Williams’ parent’s house in Get Out ” feel. In addition to comparing her experience to Jordan Peele’s horror classic, Banks says she witnessed a wealth of appallingly self-destructive behavior from both Musk and Grimes. Banks referred to Musk as a “giant d–k” and a “beta male who took steroids and hair plugs to convince himself he’s alpha.” She also accused Musk of conducting business while tripping on LSD, and Grimes of being a meth addict. She later alleged that Musk had stolen her phone so that he could “delete evidence” of their encounter. Needless to say, after all that it was quite a surprise to see that Banks had issued a public apology to Musk: “I feel terrible about everything,” reads the now-deleted open letter that was posted to Banks’ Instagram page. “Over the time spent liaising said collaborations [with Grimes], I was welcomed to a lot of personal information about you,” Banks wrote. “The stuff made me feel awkward and uncomfortable about being privy to you, yet I never had the intentions of ever using the information against you. She added: “What started off as a cat-fight lead to some seriously unexpected consequences and I seriously apologize.” Interestingly, Banks’ refused to use Grimes name throughout the letter, referring to her would-be collaborator only with a pair of empty quotation marks. After posting the letter, Banks deleted her Instagram account, but now appears to have re-instated her account. We’ll continue to monitor this weird-ass situation and let you know if it gets any weirder. View Slideshow: Azealia Banks and Her Beefs: Who’s She Shading Now?

Carole Radziwill Doubles Down: Bethenny Frankel is a Bully!

In real life, Bethenny Frankel is mourning Dennis Shields , both in private and in public. On the The Real Housewives of New York City reunion , however, she’s been facing off against her frenemies. Carole Radziwill accused her of bullying her now that they’re no longer friends. Some RHONY fans took issue with her accusation, and Carole took to Twitter to defend herself. Who is right? Towards the end of The Real Housewives of New York City Season 10, Episode 21 , ex-friends Bethenny and Carole did a postmortem on how their friendship ended. “What she does is, she creates this narrative, this false narrative about me,” Carole accused. “This false narrative that I’m some girl who’s this, this and this.” “It’s completely false,” Carole said as she aired her grievances. “Half of it is lies.” When Bethenny interrupted, Carole said: “Are you going to continue to bully me, or am I going to be able to speak?” Multiple times, Carole doubled down on her accusation that Bethenny is a bully who has been bullying her. “Let’s stop using the word bully,” tweeted a fan. “These women are getting paid a lot more of money to be on this show. It’s a choice.” The fan points out that, in contrast: “When children are getting bullied in schools or People for being different are harassed. That’s bullying.” Carole replied … and shared that she disagreed. “I get your point but don’t belittle what is happening here,” Carole wrote in her tweet. “[Obviously] I can handle it but kids need to know…..mocking someone and talking over a person is an intimidation technique. I.e. Bullying 101.” “If they learn to stand up against that,” Carole wrote. “The bully won’t be quick to escalate it.” But fans weren’t letting Carole off of the hook. “You need to think carefully about the word bully,” a fan tweeted. “You haven’t been bullied at all. You both don’t like each other. You both said hurtful things. Move on.” The fan cautioned Carole: “Don’t undermine others that have had their lives ruined by bullying by saying what has happend with you and Bethenny is bullying.” “No I disagree,” Carole wrote. “We need to call out even the smallest infractions as bullying. Only this way we can change the dynamic.” Carole continued: “Just like the # metoo  movement is calling out ALL inappropriate actions. Men will pause next time they reach for a girls shoulders to rub. Change happens slowly.” Fans remained unconvinced, and continued to try to explain to Carole that bullying refers to a specific dynamic between perpetrator and victim. “So where’s the power differential in this situation?” tweeted a fan. “Where’s the intimidation? Where’s the fear? Where’s the helplessness?” Carole is a rich white woman who is related to royalty. Her potential pool for who could conceivably bully her is pretty narrow. “She has a choice,” wrote another fan. “Bullied people don’t have a choice. It was an argument between two friends that aren’t getting along right now.” This is a very complicated topic. A lot of terms — especially buzzwords — get thrown around and then misused until they’re all but meaningless. Most people would look at two former friends who are no longer again and say that they are feuding. One says cruel things about the other? That’s feuding. In contrast, the only Muslim kid at a middle school isn’t “feuding” with some mean kids on his bus. A gay child isn’t “feuding” with the classmates who tell him to hang himself. At the same time, is the definition of bullying as narrow as these fans suggest? Perhaps there are different types of bullying. Language is complicated, and both the literal meanings of words and the connotations of those words can evolve over time.
