Hannah Anderson: Kidnapper Played Russian Roulette With Me!

Hannah Anderson, 16, claims a family friend handcuffed her, bound her feet with a zip tie and tried to force her to play Russian roulette with his pistol. The Southern California teen described new details of the frightening encounter with James Lee DiMaggio in a Today show interview on Thursday. Hannah Anderson on Today Her sit-down comes as an author prepares to release a scathing new book that questions the teen’s story in the case that captivated the U.S. this year. According to Hannah Anderson , DiMaggio used zip ties to bind her feet and then told her that he was going to take her to Idaho to help him settle there. At that point he would release her, the San Diego-area teen claims he stated. Hannah was ultimately saved by FBI agents and returned to California. “He told me that he was going to kidnap me and take me to Idaho, where my intention was just to carry his backpacks to the river,” she said on Today . “And that he was gonna live there. And then he’d get me home afterwards.” DiMaggio said her mother, Christina, and 8-year-old brother, Ethan, were alive. He then forced her to play Russian roulette on his couch, Anderson said. “And when it was my turn, I just started crying and, like, was freaking out. And he said, ‘Do you want to play?’ And I said, ‘No.’ And I started crying.” “And then he’s, like, ‘OK.’ And he stopped.” DiMaggio was killed by FBI agents in the Idaho wilderness August 10, a week after he allegedly abducted the 16-year-old and killed Christina and Ethan. The remains of Anderson’s 44-year-old mother and brother were later found in the burned home. Hannah said she is “just mostly sick and angry.” The teen’s disappearance triggered a massive search and rescue effort spanning much of the western U.S. and parts of Canada and Mexico. The Amber Alert helped, in more ways than one, as it has “helped me keep going through healing and stuff, knowing that people were looking for me.” Since her rescue, Anderson has avoided most interviews, preferring instead to respond to fans and confront skeptics directly on social media sites. Critics see something fishy in a flurry of texts between Hannah and DiMaggio before the abduction as well as a letter from the teen in DiMaggio’s house. Author Chelsea Hoffman said she grew suspicious as she observed Hannah’s behavior following her return, prompting her to write “The River of No Return.” The book is set for a November 2 release. Authorities say Hannah was undoubtedly a victim. She has harsh words for critics, including one who asked why she hadn’t run away from DiMaggio, 40. “How do you know he never had me handcuffed,” Anderson wrote. “Because there you are wrong. Don’t assume things you don’t know. Just stop.”

Duck Dynasty Recap: Who’s Got Beef With Jerky?

“As rednecks, we have the right to eat beef jerky.” So speaketh Jason Robertson, and another episode of A&E’s hilarious Duck Dynasty hath been born. When Willie receives a package of Biltong, a South African form of beef jerky (because we all get that in the mail), he doesn’t want to share it with the crew.   A jerk about beef jerky, you could say. Duck Dynasty Clip – Biltong This sets off the usual barrage of complaints in the duck call room, which prompts Si to set up an actual complaint box. There are just so darn many, jack! Among them? There is no unlimited supply of coffee, or iced tea dispenser, or sofa for napping. Also, the toilet paper is like John Wayne … it don’t take crap off nobody! Obviously, instead of doing actual work, this segues into the gang making their own beef jerky. Jase wants to call it Jase Jerky, and what better name could there be! In the process, they learn that Big John Godwin has a dehydrator in his shed. There’s also a lot of other things in his shed. Many of which are alive. After a bike race and many more jokes at Si’s expense, Jase wins and the lazy but endearing gang goes to make jerky. Except Jep, who is still racing. As they make the jerky, there are more jokes about the stench and flies. Korie is increasingly put off by the smell, but it was worth it for the humor. Duck Dynasty Clip – Complaint Box Elsewhere, Phil and Miss Kay visit Willie and tell him they’re dying. Not like right away, but the point was it will happen at some point, and leads into a conversation about who will get what when the couple does pass. Miss Kay says she fell asleep in the bathtub. Willie says nobody dies from that, and they admit they’re healthy, but the overall goal is still a valid one. They’re 65, and it’s time to talk about this inevitability at some point. They leave to check out the Robertson family land, a serious undertaking. They talk about who should get what and make backup plans for the assets. Morbid, to be sure, but Willie looks at it as a way to spend time with his dad and says he will pretend to be surprised by whatever he is given in the end. A good lesson. Also, they discuss urinating in an arc. Good times. Duck Dynasty Clip – Miss Kay’s Will

Kanye West on Jimmy Kimmel Live: I’m Totally Weird and Honest!

The beef is squashed. But the legend of Kanye West remains. The rapper appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night, just a couple weeks after going off on an epic rant against the talk show host. And after Kimmel tried to diffuse the tension via a bit of small talk (asking about West’s  outfit and grill), he actually showed a clip of the skit that started the feud … and then it was all classic Kanye. Kanye West on Jimmy Kimmel Live (Part 1) Kanye West on Jimmy Kimmel Live (Part 2) As best we can gather, here’s a rundown of the rambling thoughts offered up by Kanye West during a lengthy interview: On being famous : I’m not running for office, I’m just here to make good music, make people feel good…for me, I’m a creative genius and there’s no other way to word it and I know you’re not supposed to say those things about yourself… I’m more of a messenger than a rapper. On his priorities : I could care less about any of these cameras, in all honesty. All I care about is my family. On his personality : I’m totally weird and I’m totally honest and I’m totally inappropriate at times. On Kim Kardashian : There’s no way that Kim Kardashian shouldn’t have a star on the Walk of Fame. Kanye West on Jimmy Kimmel Live (Part 3) Kanye West on Jimmy Kimmel Live (Part 4) On his Twitter outburst : They were really fun to me as I was writing it… the only reason why I could do that is because we could speak on a similar level and go back and forth… I just thought that this was amazing you know, just crack media…I do everything I can to break media… You shoulda saw the second set of tweets! On problems in the world : It’s not about racism anymore, it’s classism… I refuse to follow those rules that society has set up and the way that they control people with low self esteem. On the paparazzi : I should be respected and such when I walk on the street… Never think I’m not from Chicago for one second… I understand you gotta get your money, and its hard out here… [but] it’s a lack of decency. So there you have it, folks. Momager Kris Jenner Says Kanye West Is A Great Dad And Wonderful Person, “I Love Him So Much”

Kris is loving her some Yeezus. Kris Jenner Says She Loves Kanye West All that love couldn’t save her failing talk show after pimping KimYe and Nori though. According to US Magazine Kris Jenner only has good things to say about Kanye West! The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star told Ross Matthews during an appearance on Hello Ross that she absolutely adores her “roommate,” and sees quite the different side of Kim Kardashian’s beau compared to his recent Twitter rant against Jimmy Kimmel. “When someone lives down the hall, I see somebody who’s — I love him so much,” the matriarch of the family gushed to the E! host. “He’s such an amazing boyfriend to Kim and a great dad and a wonderful person.” Indeed, Jenner thought it was quite great of the 36-year-old rapper to come on to her FOX daytime talk show. “I got to sit down with him for an entire hour, and I think people saw this other side to him.” She continued: “He’s creative and he’s an amazing, amazing human being, he really is. And he doesn’t always do interviews and get the chance to really express himself like that, so I was really glad that I got a chance to sit down and talk with him.” During the interview, the mom manager also revealed that she was the one who looked after Kanye and Kim’s little girl North while they traveled to attend Paris Fashion Week. The first-time parents just returned home earlier this week, with the “Blood on the Leaves” singer recently spotted sporting a “Nori” necklace around his neck in Los Angeles. Why doesn’t the public see this side of Kanye? Continue reading
