Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra Break Down Over Adopted Daughter

Hey, look, everybody, it’s a really positive, happy story about Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra from Teen Mom OG! … Nah, just kidding, it’s terrible and tragic and awful. Seriously, don’t even bother ever expecting anything nice from these people. You’ll only end up disappointed . So Catelynn and Tyler are Teen Mom’s longest-lasting couple by far — they’ve been together since they were 12 years old. Surely one of the reasons their relationship has lasted so long is because when Catelynn wound up pregnant when they were 16, they placed their daughter, Carly, up for adoption. Welcoming a new baby is hard for adults, but try to give a newborn to a couple of teenagers? No wonder they’re literally the only couple to be 16 & Pregnant & Still Together. But obviously placing Carly for adoption didn’t automatically free Catelynn and Tyler from any drama. Far from it. Carly’s adoptive parents , Brandon and Theresa, have always been very kind and accommodating to Catelynn and Tyler, but they’ve also always been very hesitant to allow their daughter, or even their daughter’s face, to be shown on television. Tyler in particular has had a hard time dealing with this. In an episode earlier this season , they received news that Brandon and Theresa didn’t want them to talk about Carly so much on the show, and Tyler absolutely flipped out. Tyler Baltierra Lashes Out at Carly’s Parents “It just doesn’t make any sense to me to be told what to say and what not to say,” he said. “I don’t want to live my life like that! I can’t!” “If they say ‘We don’t want you talking about the adoption at all on TV,’ ohohoho, then we’re going to have lots of issues,” he exclaimed. “That’s all I’m saying.” Tyler even said that he’d continue talking about Carly even at the risk of Brandon and Theresa cutting off contact between them. “My reasoning,” he explained, “is because I have sacrificed enough for you to have a family and that’s fine. I’ve come to terns with that and all that’s great.” “But I will not sacrifice my voice and what I think and what I can and cannot talk about on my daily life and my personal life — cameras or no cameras.” All this is a real good example of learning how to choose your battles — is it really more important for Tyler to talk about Carly on TV than it is to talk to her? — and that’s being proven in this brand new sneak peek for next week’s episode. Catelynn and Tyler Receive Bad News About Carly In the clip, Catelynn and Tyler meet with their adoption counselor to talk about how Brandon and Theresa haven’t been responding to their texts. Uh oh. The counselor said that she’d been in touch with Theresa, and she felt it was important to go over the paperwork they’d signed for the adoption. She said that they’d all agreed on an open adoption, and that Catelynn and Tyler had indicated that they didn’t want to have any face-to-face visits, but that there was an option for them to request a meeting with Carly at her parents’ discretion. Catelynn started breaking down at this point, asking “Are we done having visits with Carly forever? Until se’s 18 I’ll hear nothing from her?” “It is f-cking frustrating,” she said through tears, “because I was 16 years old when I made this decision.” It sounds like a tough position to be in, but honestly it also sounds like a decision they’ve put themselves in. Hopefully they’re able to work things out with Brandon and Theresa soon … we sincerely just cannot take more Catelynn and Tyler sadness .

Catelynn Lowell: Here’s the REAL Deal on My Extreme Mental Illness

Catelynn Lowell isn’t afraid of showing it all off for the camera — which is why the Teen Mom’s battle with mental illness is such big news.  Lowell opened up in a deleted Teen Mom scene, talking about her struggle with mental illness and how she’s going to approach talking to her daughter, Nova, about it.  Catelynn Lowell: My Mental Illness Truth In the clip, she said, “Honestly, I feel like the only thing I want [my daughter] to know about mental illness period, is if you are starting to feel a different way, extreme emotions…that it’s okay to be honest and say you’re feeling that way.”  “Not to feel like you’re crazy,” she continued, “because that’s what I used to tell myself all the time – that I was crazy.”  “If you are feeling certain things, or if things are extreme, it’s okay to feel them,” she said.  “It’s just how you work through it and you know you have to come to a realization that it’s going to be over.”  “You feel like sometimes it’s going to be forever in that moment,” Lowell admitted. View Slideshow: Teen Mom Dads, Husbands & Boyfriends Ranked: Who’s #1?! It’s gotta be hard, though, when you have a Teen Mom   douchebag for a husband, who doesn’t seem to fully support you, and who, in fact, fat shames you on top of your own insecurities.  In a previous episode of the reality show, Lowell’s husband, Tyler Baltierra, said, “I don’t want no heifer for a wife,” brutalizing both her and the English language simultaneously.  Throughout the airing, he goaded her and grumbled about her very existence.  And the show in question was shot just six days after Lowell returned from a rehab to help manage her anxiety and depression.  What a charmer.  In recent weeks, Tyler has also shamed Catelynn for even having depressive tendencies, acting like she can’t do anything right – even make it to her doctor’s appointments.  Tyler himself admitted that he’s currently in therapy in order to “work on [the] delivery of messages and opinions,” but we’re calling absolute BS on that one.  If anybody needs intensive therapy in this couple, it’s Baltierra.  … And we don’t think his therapist is helping him work on ways to tell his wife that he “don’t want no chub.” View Slideshow: 25 Celebrities Who Suffer From Mental Illness

Vikram Chatwal, Hotel Founder and Lindsay Lohan BFF, Arrested for Dog Burning

WARNING: The following story is gruesome and heinous and gross and also really, really, really weird. It centers on Vikram Chatwal, the Dream Hotel founder and a very good friend of Lindsay Lohan. He has been arrested by the New York Police Department for allegedly burning two dogs with an aerosol can and lighter. According to TMZ, Chatwal reportedly walked up to the canines on a Big Apple sidewalk last week outside his apartment, simply dousing them in flames for reasons that remain unknown at this time. A TMZ cameraman caught up with Chatwal after this alleged act and captured some very strange footage of the hotel founder. Chatwal seems both confused and apologetic in the video. A witness says he was wondering on the street when he started yelling things like “the vehicle is compromised,” while also muttering to himself about the “CIA.” “I’m not crazy, I’m not crazy,” Chatwal is heard uttering in the following clip. We don’t want to judge anyone, but people who are, indeed, sane , typically do not need to tell themselves that they aren’t crazy. Vikram Chatwal Responds to Dog Burning Charges Chatwal was booked on one felony count of criminal mischief — and 3 misdemeanors … torturing an animal, reckless endangerment and arson. Chatwal’s personal webste was suspended this morning, but a bio page previously featured on the site describes him as the founder of hotels including Dream, Night, Time, Unscripted, and Augustus. The bio also says that Chatwal is a model, actor and movie producer who has had roles in the movies Zoolander and Spring Breakers. Here is a photo of Chatwal with Lohan in 2012: A native of Ethiopia, Chatwal moved to Montreal in the 1970s and then to New York in the 1980s. He attended the United Nations International School in New York City, as well as the Wharton School of Business; he graduated from the latter in 1994. He is 44 years old. And he may have some serious mental issues.

Catelynn Lowell is BFFs With WHAT Famous Singer?!

If you watch Teen Mom: OG online , you know that this season hasn’t been an easy one for Catelynn Lowell. We watched as Catelynn battled depression and eventually sought help at an in-patient treatment facility in Arizona. But it’s always darkest before the dawn, as they say, and in the wake of her recent struggles, Catelynn seems to be doing better than ever – and as a bonus, she recently befriended a bonafide pop icon: Catelynn Lowell Reveals Celebrity BFF TMZ caught up with Catelynn and Tyler Baltierra at LAX recently, and the fan favorites shared an interesting story about their latest celebrity run-in. It seems that Aussie pop icon Sia is a big fan of Teen Mom and Catelynn in particular. Sia recently reached out to Sia on social media to invite her to her concert in LA: “She wrote me on Twitter. We have a lot of the same mental illness issues and stuff,” Lowell says. “She reached out to me and she said she was a huge fan of me, so she invited me to come to her concert.” Asked if the two of them hung out after the show Catelynn excitedly replied, “We did!” but sadly, she didn’t go into any detail. “I was absolutely shocked. Like, ‘Why is she writing me? This makes no sense!'” Fortunately, Catelynn’s confusion didn’t keep her from accepting the A-list invitation. Naturally, the TMZ cameraman quickly transitioned to the topic of Catelynn’s marriage, which has been put through its paces in recent months: “We’re doing great,” Lowell replied with a smile. Asked how long she plans to continue with the show that made her famous, Catleynn confirmed that she’s signed on for at least one more season, but she was unwilling to commit to anything beyond that. “I feel like it’s always gonna be a part of my life,” Lowell replied, vaguely. And as long as the ratings juggernaut keeps pulling in the viewers, we’re sure MTV will do whatever it takes to keep Catelynn and Tyler on board. Watch Teen Mom: OG online to relive the Baltierra’s turbulent year.

Dance Moms Season 6 Episode 27 Recap: End of the Road

Lifetime’s Dance Moms Season 6 Episode 27 was titled “Mini Mayhem,” and for good reason, as the minis wreaked havoc on the series. Possible felon and definite train wreck Abby Lee Miller assigned duets to the elites and minis in an attempt to unify the dueling units. Good luck with that. Watch Dance Moms Season 6 Episode 27 Online You don’t have to even  watch Dance Moms online  to know how this was gonna turn out, though we really can’t do it justice here either. While there were no killer clowns on last night’s show, the group mused on how nice it was to do the pyramid without Lifetime’s finest. Yes, Abby Lee Miller was off terrorizing someone else, apparently, leaving her dutiful co-choreographer, Gianna Martello, to stand in. While Miller acknowledged that the elites did well with their previous dance, she said they should be able to choreograph a dance quickly. She went on to reveal the title of the elites’ number, “The End of the Road,” saying it may mean it’s either their “end of the road” or hers. The stakes are high, in other words. In rehearsals, Holly Frazier worried that the girls having a say in their own choreography was the kind of thing that could backfire hard. “Abby doesn’t like anyone doing something without Abby being in charge of it from the very beginning,” Holly said, and no one argued. Bringing down the group’s morale is a real concern, but this is Abby we’re talking about, and she spoke her mind about the situation: “I don’t know if this is really the end of the road for the junior elite competition team but they’re getting older and taking me for granted.” After last week, the boss added, “I think the girls are getting a little too big for their britches,” and it was time to knock them down a peg. Or several.   “They think that getting out on stage and ‘choreographing the number’ was this big deal but let’s face it, while you dance for me?” “To be part of this team, it’s not a democracy. I’m in charge. It’s my thing. And if you don’t want to play my way, then this is the end of the road for you.” Basically, Miller is the one calling the shots and you can take it or leave it. You know, in case anyone was wondering where they stood. The moms loved the result, but the judges weren’t as impressed, and gave the girls a rare and mediocre fifth place. Cue shock and awe. Disappointed as they were, the dancers were gracious and stated that they lost out to other great dancers, but Abby saw this differently. “They got beat at their own game because the overall high score was not the Abby Lee Dance Company,” Miller told the cameras. “It was because the choreography was not what you put on the stage … and that’s where they got a little too big for their britches.” Abby Lee said that “they didn’t remember ‘You know what? Maybe I’m getting in over my head.’ Maybe to leave it in my hands.” Where will the chips fall from here? That remains to be seen, but we wouldn’t want to be in the room with Abby at the next week’s pyramid.

Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra: MORE Relationship Drama?!

This season of Teen Mom OG hasn’t been too kind to Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra. Or rather, Tyler Baltierra hasn’t been too kind to Catelynn Lowell in this season of Teen Mom OG. Check out this new sneak peek for next week’s episode of the show, let it wash over you in all its horror: Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra Fight After Rehab It’s bad, right? Things start off tense, and it looks like Tyler’s prepared himself for this conversation. He asks her how she’s doing, she tells him she’s bored, and he starts to go off. “You know what, Cate?” he tells her. “You better figure out something to do. What do you want to do?” She says that she doesn’t know, and he says “I hope that you wouldn’t let yourself go back to the way you were.” He tells Catelynn that she’s “walking through life like a log,” and that “I can’t do this forever, there’s no way. Not like this.” Yeah, things are getting pretty rough for what used to be the greatest couple on Teen Mom . “I mean, I guess that’d be a way of losing you,” that’s a thing he actually said. Finally, Tyler tells her “Listen, if you go into this thing again, I gotta check out. ‘Cause I’ll get hardened. I’ll close everybody off. It’s safe that way.” Then Catelynn cries, says “I feel like my mental illness ruins everything,” and that’s it. Thanks for all the heartache, y’all. Honestly, Tyler comes off looking like a great big jackass in all this. When this was filmed, Catelynn had just gotten home after spending 30 days in rehab, so you’d think he’d be a little more supportive, right? Wrong. Obviously. Of course, this is the guy that also charmingly cried out ” I don’t want no heifer for a wife ,” so tact really isn’t ever going to come into play here. Oh, and who could forget how, just before this upsetting little clip was filmed, Tyler observed that Catelynn was “really indulging” while having dinner? On Mother’s Day? Look, Tyler clearly loves Catelynn , and it seems like he really is trying to help her with her mental health struggles, but how long is it going to take him to learn that this is not the way to help her? She needs support, not criticism. And she definitely doesn’t need criticism the way Tyler dishes it out. This is turning out to be a real mess, but hey, what else could we possibly expect?

Amber Heard: Broke & Homeless Following Divorce From Johnny Depp?!

When Johnny Depp and Amber Heard reached a divorce settlement back in August, Heard responded with either a benevolent act of generosity or a brilliant PR stunt, depending on your perspective. The actress shocked the world when she announced she’d be donating her $7 million in spousal support to charity . Now, it’s looking like she probably should’ve held on to a few dollars. Last week, a rumor that Heard is now homeless began to circulate on social media. It seemed ridiculous that a woman who just a few months ago had access to Johnny Depp’s private island would suddenly find herself without a place to live, but now OK! magazine is confirming that Heard is indeed out on the street. But when we say “out on the street,” we mean in like a rich people way. Heard is currently in London filming the Justice League movie with Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, and a bunch of other people that DC is paying a whole lot of money to scowl. When she returns to LA, however, it seems Heard will be without a permanent residence. According to the terms of the split, Depp got to keep the condo that had served as his and Heard’s home in Los Angeles. Depp hasn’t been spending much time on the West Coast lately, but that doesn’t mean the place is vacant. A source tells OK! that Depp is allowing two of his friends to live in the condo for free. In exchange, they’re reportedly serving as “guard dogs” and preventing Heard from entering the property. “Right now, she’s pretty broke,” the insider claims. “And Johnny moved his friends into the condo they used to share.” The insider adds that Heard has several valuable belongings in the condo, but she’s not allowed inside, and Depp “refuses to send her anything.” No word on where Depp is staying these days, but it seems he’s lightening his load in terms of property. The actor put his place in the South of France up for sale before the divorce, and he recently put a five-penthouse condo that he owns on downtown LA on the market for $12.78 million. The guy’s doing alright for himself Of course, it’s not like Heard’s soon to be working the drive-thru at your local Mickey D’s. She’s already set to reprise her Justice League role in 2018’s Aquaman . Her salary has been kept under wraps, but industry analysts estimate that she’s pulling in seven figures for both roles. View Slideshow: Johnny Depp Domestic Abuse Allegations: Stars React Not too shabby. We think it’s safe to say she won’t be walking around dressed in rags any time soon. That’s kinda Depp’s thing, anyway. Just kidding, Johnny! We’re well aware those scarves probably cost more than any car we’ve ever owned!

Catelynn Lowell: Still Smoking Weed After Rehab!

Teen Mom OG just brings the heartache every. Single. Time. It was back in March that Catelynn Lowell went to rehab to learn how to cope with depression and anxiety, but she’s recently revealed that she also intended to get sober during her stay at the facility. Catelynn Lowell Still Struggles with Drug Use After Rehab She said that she started smoking marijuana back when she was “around 12 or 13,” back when she was “young and crazy,” but it’s a habit that she’s obviously kept up, right, if she meant to quit in rehab? Unfortunately, it seems like the treatment she received may not have helped her as much as she hoped. In the new trailer for Teen Mom , she’s clearly still struggling with depression, crying about how she feels like “my mental illness ruins everything.” Teen Mom OG Mid-Season Trailer And now, in that new sneak peek you can see up top, it looks like she’s back to getting high, too. It’s sad because, when talking to Tyler’s mom, Catelynn tries to play it so cool, like she’s doing fine. But then Kim pops right in with “I could’ve sworn the other day you were high. You’ve been smoking, haven’t you?” View Slideshow: 23 Celebrities Who Have Been to Rehab Catelynn doesn’t exactly admit it, but she does say that “it’s something I probably won’t talk about because I don’t want the whole world to know,” so, you know, she might as well have. Things get even more uncomfortable when Kim tries to ask Tyler if he’s been strong enough to tell Catelynn that she’s not supposed to be smoking. “I have to keep my mouth shut,” Tyler says, “’cause she’s responsible for her and I’m responsible for me.” Catelynn adds a half-hearted “yeah,” like this is the chillest issue ever, not even an issue at all, really. And then we cry forever. Look, as far as drugs go, pretty much all of them are worse than marijuana, right? It’s not like Catelynn is smoking meth and trying to defend it, but it’s pretty obvious it’s still an issue. If she felt like she needed to quit smoking in rehab, then she clearly wasn’t comfortable with something about her habit. Maybe she felt like she was smoking too much, or maybe she wanted to stop for her daughter. Whatever the reason, she wanted to stop and she didn’t, and now she seems to be going back to a bad place emotionally — and Tyler doesn’t seem too keen on helping her, either. Can we have even the tiniest break from all this Teen Mom sadness? Would that really be too much to ask for?
