Last month, Catelynn Lowell checked into rehab after publicly revealing that she’d been battling suicidal thoughts and severe depression. Lowell has remained at the faciity ever since, and while she’s been unable to update her many social media followers, her husband, Tyler Baltierra, assures fans that she’s making steady progress and hopes to be home soon. “My wife is incredibly strong & courageous,” Tyler tweeted earlier this week. “She inspires me to just be a better human being all around & I’m so honored to share my life with such a selfless soul. I love her so much & can’t wait for her to be home.” He added the hashtag” #CatelynnStrong,” which Teen Mom: OG fans have been using to discuss their own battles with mental illness and the strength that they’ve gained from seeing Lowell be so candid about her struggles. The weeks since Catelynn checked into treatment have not been without their fair share of drama, but thankfully, Lowell has been shielded from it for the sake of her mental health. Just this week, Catelynn’s cast mate Farrah Abraham attacked her on Twitter, claiming that she still smokes pot regularly (despite her claims to the contrary) and that Baltierra is secretly gay . Tyler dealt with the situation himself on Twitter. “Well today I thought of every way to kill myself.. so I’m going to treatment #makeChesterProud @TalindaB #KeepTalkingMH #thiswontlast,” Catelynn tweeted just prior to entering treatment back in November. She referenced the late Linkin Park Chester Bennington, who took his own life in July, and tagged the Linkin Park singer’s wife, Talinda. “I’m taking the time I need right now to take care of myself for good,” Lowell told Us Weekly in a statement issued later that day. “On November 17th I thought of every possible way to commit suicide … From wrapping a belt around my neck to just running my car into an electric pole. “THANK GOD I have a support system and a HUSBAND and a DAUGHTER … thank god I am self-aware,” she added. “I’m seeking treatment and I WILL get better … anyone feeling alone you ARE NOT ALONE! This world needs all of us! We are all here for a reason … Thank you for your support during this tough time.” There’s no word yet on when Catelynn will receive treatment, but Baltierra says her treatment has been going smoothly, and “We’ve been in Arizona for the past 2 weeks visiting her every Sunday,” Tyler recently wrote on Instagram. “I have taken a break from everything & chose to really take this time for me and Nova … Without her mom around, she needs me & my devoted attention. Tyler Baltierra has had a rough week. In the last few days alone, his wife, Catelynn Lowell returned to a treatment facility after revealing she has had suicidal thoughts . In the aftermath, he offended the whole internet with a racist slur. So, it comes as no surprise that he’s feeling a little sentimental right about now. With the holidays in full swing, the Teen Mom star took to Twitter in response to a video showing Catelynn in happier times being shared by the official Teen Mom Twitter page. The video found Lowell chatting with her co-stars about what she is thankful for this holiday, and it apparently hit Tyler right in the feels because he detailed his reaction to the video right after. He commented: “My god! My wife looks absolutely beautiful in this #HappyThanksgiving @TeenMom clip! It’s going to be a rough holiday without being able to kiss her & tells her how thankful I am for her, but we have a strong resilience crafter by our past, we got this!” We can’t begin to imagine how difficult it must be to be apart from your significant other during the holidays, and Tyler has a legion of fans who came out in their droves to support him during this difficult time. “You are an amazing husband. I’m sure she’s missing you all terribly.” said one Teen Mom devotee. “This year is extra special, even though you’re not together physically,” another wrote. “You should really be thankful she’s still here with you. Stay strong; we’re all rooting for you guys!” It was previously reported that Catelynn would be making her way to rehab after having suicidal thoughts. The Teen Mom star confirmed the news herself in a courageous post on Twitter. “Well today I thought of every way to kill myself.. so I’m going to treatment #makeChesterProud @TalindaB #KeepTalkingMH #thiswontlast,” Catelynn tweeted last Friday. Tyler drove his wife to admit her to the facility and took to Twitter at the time to share his thoughts on the matter, and it was clear he was deeply hurt by everything that was happening. “We haven’t held each other & just cried like that for a long time,” Tyler wrote after leaving Catelynn’s rehab. “Even after 12 years, I continue to be AMAZED by her strength, vulnerability, & courage to get help.” He even went as far as quoting his wedding vows. But then Tyler shocked the land of Teen Mom by using a racial slur on Snapchat after having a few drinks in a bar. He did make a swift apology and confirmed that he was letting off some steam in the aftermath of what happened with Catelynn. It’s understandable that someone would want to forget about everything after such an emotional experience, but it made him look like an idiot. YouTube had already notified me that she had a new video available. It's a lyrics video, but still — it's the debut of her new song. Taylor has been teasing the track all week, on social media platforms like Instagram and Tumblr. (Taylor is known to interact directly with superfans and address them by name on Tumblr in particular) This song, “Call It What You Want,” is only the fourth single that Taylor has unveiled from her new album, Reputation . As we mentioned, in addition to the iTunes release, the song came out in a lyric video on YouTube. We'll be honest, it's the weakest of Taylor's new singles … but it's also quite possibly the most informative. See, “Call It What You Want” is widely believed to be about Joe Alwyn. Note that Taylor's previous single, “Gorgeous,” which possibly includes North West's voice in order to taunt Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, is also basically universally believed to be about her current boyfriend. Seriously, the whole song sounds like gushing over Joe Alwyn , if not by name. That was “Gorgeous.” In “Call It What You Want,” Taylor gets to that … but first, before she gets into the relationship stuff, she talks about how she was wronged. “My castle crumbled overnight / I brought a knife to a gunfight / They took the crown, but it's alright.” Her career spiraled out of control, as she predicted when she first expressed to Kanye that she was leery of him mentioning her in his song. (Which we know from the shadily edited recordings that Kim later leaked) She speaks frankly about how she deliberately vanished from the public eye in order to let things cool down. “All the liars are calling me one / Nobody's heard from me for months / I'm doing better than I ever was, 'cause.” Why is she now doing better, you wonder? Here's the chorus: “My baby's fit like a daydream.” We don't know of any photos of Joe Alwyn shirtless (which is weird, for an actor, right?), so we suppose that we'll just have to take Taylor's word for it about his fitness. “Walking with his head down / I'm the one he's walking to.” Rumor has it that Taylor and Joe have been meeting covertly to avoid the public eye throughout their relationship. “So call it what you want, yeah, call it what you want to.” Ah, yes, the part of the song with the song's title in it. “My baby's fly like a jet stream / High above the whole scene / Loves me like I'm brand new.” The “high above the whole scene” line clearly refers to how they can avoid public judgments and rumors and haters by just being separate from them. (Yes, that’s literally the entire reason why they’re famous, their ability to get pregnant, but bear with us here.) Just this year alone, Chelsea Houska, Jenelle Evans, Briana DeJesus, and Kailyn Lowry have given birth to new precious little angels. On top of that, we just learned that Amber Portwood is expecting her second child , too. So that leaves Leah Messer, Maci Bookout, Farrah Abraham, and Catelynn Lowell — those are the only moms who haven’t experienced pregnancy in 2017. Leah is single and really focused on living her best life right now, so we don’t imagine she’ll get in on this Teen Mom baby boom. Maci has her hands full with three kids, including two babies born back to back, so she’s probably out. Farrah is … well, she’s pretty busy at the moment with what kind of looks like a mental breakdown . So that leaves Catelynn! Paris Hilton has always been a gay man to me.
