Keri Hilson Talks About Breakup With Serge Ibaka Keri Hilson has finally opened up about her sad split with NBA baller Serge Ibaka with Rolling Out Magazine . The singer says she thought she had found someone who was an “exception” but was disappointed to find out he wasn’t the one… I think I am an exception to the rule when people think of R&B “divas.” I thought I found someone who’s also an exception. It wasn’t “enthralling” for me to date an athlete. It was on my list of “not to dos” — no rappers, no actors and no ball players. I broke my rule because I thought I found someone different … It wasn’t an attraction to the status and the money. Keri later describes what she wants in a significant other after revealing breakup with Serge: I am no different from other women when it comes to attraction to qualities of a man. I am pretty level headed. I want someone who loves God genuinely and respects women, [is] loyal. All the same things every woman wants. Meanwhile Keri is still looking fine like wine … Thirst trap , anyone? Let’s look back at all the beautiful Black love moments with Serge and Keri… IG
Just when you think Sister Wives can’t get any worse … maybe just don’t ever think that, OK? After all, with a supreme jackass like Kody Brown involved, things can always get worse. At the very least, they can always get creepier . But this new little bit of Sister Wives news isn’t about Kody — it’s about Meri, Kody’s first wife and the wife who found herself caught up in a great big catfishing scandal last year. Meri thought she was talking to a man named Sam, this mysterious guy who sweet-talked her into an emotional affair — and into sending some pretty risque selfies and voicemails. “During an emotion and vulnerable time,” she explained almost exactly a year ago , “I began speaking with someone who turned out to be not who they said they were.” According to Meri, “I never met this person and I regret being drawn into this situation but I hope because of it I can help others who find themselves in similar circumstances.” So basically Meri started talking to someone, she caught some feelings for him, and then the person conveniently turned out to be a catfish, so the Browns could focus on that instead of the issues that drove Meri into the cyber arms of another in the first place. Sure. Sounds great. As we’d already heard, Meri and the other Sister Wives are allegedly fed up with Kody and his gross ways, so much that they’re planning on leaving him. Meri has had her own issues with Kody for quite some time now, but with the rumors that Kody was looking to take on a fifth and perhaps even a sixth wife , it’s said that she definitely wants out, and fast. And that’s where her new fella comes in. If we’re to believe a new report, Meri has started seeing some guy who lives in Hawaii — that’s how over Kody she is. “She’s always gone now,” a source claims. “She’s always traveling. Meri has wanted to leave for the past year and a half. She’s done.” We’re thankfully not involved in the Browns’ personal lives, so we can’t verify this, but it does fit in with the great catfish catastrophe of 2015. Meri was talking to that wily catfish in a way that made it pretty clear she was looking for love again, and most certainly not with that “spiritual husband” of hers. It makes sense that she’s wanted to leave for a while now. And really, more power to her if she’s down in Hawaii, hanging out with some dude. We have no idea who he might be, but hey, he’s got to be better than Kody, right? As for the rest of the family, the source claims that “they’re in survival mode,” and that they have a family therapist that travels around with them wherever they go. Too little, too late, really.
Josh Samman, a UFC middleweight fighter who has spent the past several days in a coma, died on Wednesday, October 5. He was 28 years old. The sad news was confirmed by Samman manager, Gary Ibarra, to Fox Sports. Ibarra told the network that Samman passed away in a hospital in Hollywood, Florida. Details are still coming in regarding what happened, but here is what we know at this time: The UFC fighter was found unresponsive last Thursday, September 29, alongside his friend Troy Kirkingburg… who was pronounced dead at the scene. He was also 28 years old. Police told the Tallahassee Democrat soon afterward that Samman had a pulse when he was discovered and was breathing when a friend found his body. According to law enforcement official, police responded to “a call of a possible drug overdose.” Samman struggled with substance abuse over the years, having chronicled his challenging life in his book “The Housekeeper: Love, Death, and Prizefighting.” According to the websote MMA Fighting.com, Samman was depressed after his girlfriend, Hailey Bevis, was killed in a car accident in 2013. He reportedly felt responsible for her death because they were sending text messages at the time she got into the crash. Broward County Medical Examiner and Trauma Services Chief Medical Examiner Craig Mallak told the aforementioned MMA website that Samman’s cause of death is not currently known. The site adds that “the Medical Examiner’s office will not administer a toxicology report because Samman survived for days after being found and ‘there are no suitable specimens to test.” It is possible we may never know the cause of death. Samman’s mother told Fox Sports this week that no heroin was found in his system, despite reports of a drug overdose. The fighter hailed from Iowa and did not leave behind any offspring. We send our condolences to his friends, family members and loved ones.

In July of last year, Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away after being found unconscious in the bathtub of her Atlanta-area home and spending nearly six months in a coma. Just last week, Bobbi Kristina’s official cause of death was confirmed when her autopsy results were released on what would’ve been her 23rd birthday. But while the coroner concluded that the troubled daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown passed away as a result of drug intoxication and accidental water immersion, many still have suspicions about possible foul play, most of which center around Bobbi’s boyfriend, Nick Gordon. There are some who believe Gordon murdered Bobbi , and others who believe he simply didn’t do enough to try and save her life. Today, Gordon’s lawyers issued the following statement to People magazine in hopes of putting a stop to the constant rumors about their client: “Nick Gordon’s life has been tumultuous since January of 2015 when he lost the love of his life. On top of being prohibited from visiting Bobbi Kristina at the hospital for the last six months of her life, Nick has been publicly humiliated for more than a year. “Throughout that time, the Fulton County District Attorney’s office has tried to make Nick a murderer despite having clear and convincing evidence that Bobbi Kristina’s death was nothing more than a tragic accident, evidence that the District Attorney’s office fought to seal and conceal from the public rather than allowing her fans to know the truth. “The truth is that Nick tried to save Bobbi Kristina’s life. The truth is that Nick cooperated with law enforcement since day one. The truth is that no one loved Bobbi Kristina more than Nick and no one has suffered more as a result of her death than Nick.” The statement concluded with a call to the Fulton County DA to publicly exonerate Gordon, as a 13-month investigation has revealed that there is “simply no evidence of any wrongdoing.” Bobbi Kristina’s father, Bobbi Brown, has stated that he plans to continue to pursue a wrongful death civil suit against Gordon. Nate Diaz vs. Justin Bieber is not a feud we ever would have expected (and one we’re guessing Justin doesn’t want) but it looks like it’s going down, nonetheless. As you may have heard, Diaz scored a major upset victory against welterweight opponent and fan favorite Conor McGregor during Saturday night’s UFC 196. One McGregor fan who took the loss particularly hard was fellow tattooed egomaniac Justin Bieber. Bieber took to social media during the fight to declare his continued love for McGregor and take an ill-advised shot at Diaz, a man who has the ability to inflict unspeakable amounts of pain on Justin. First, Bieber posted a photo of McGregor, along with a caption reading, “Still the champ.” He followed that up with another post that may wind up doubling as a suicide note: “No bandwagon but Conor is a true champion, fights with style and finesse, all the respect to Nate but his style is terrible. Nate has crazy heart respect.” Never one to back down from a fight (especially against Justin freakin’ Bieber), Diaz responded with this hilarity: Amazingly, this isn’t even the first time that the Biebs has picked a fight with a UFC champ. Bieber’s feud with Ronda Rousey has been going on for months, and the singer has shown no indication that he plans to apologize for the rudeness that set the whole thing off. We guess it’s a good thing Justin is friends with Floyd Mayweather . We’re not exactly his biggest fans, but “Bieber Says ‘ Sorry ‘ Too Late, Gets Pummeled to Death By Own Heavily Inked Severed Arms” is not a headline we look forward to writing.
