Messy Matrimonydom: Amina Says She Regrets Marrying Peter – “He’s Not Someone Who Should Ever Be Married”

Amina reacts to watching her dirty-dog husband smash his babymama after they got married… Amina Says She Regrets Marrying Peter Gunz Love & Hip Hop mistress-turned-main-thang Amina Buddafl y is finally starting to realize what the rest of the world figured out in the first episode of this season: marrying Peter Gunz was some of the dumbest isht she could have ever done. via S2S Magazine Amina Buddafly is having some second thoughts about her marriage to Peter Gunz, and she doesn’t think they should have gotten hitched. Peter’s said that their union was the result of a rash decision that he regrets, but Amina agrees that they had no business running off to city hall to get married. In fact, she doesn’t think that Peter really just needs to remain a bachelor. “The truth is, we are really not supposed to be married right now,”Amina told CocoaFab.com. “We are supposed to be together and we love each other. Sometimes I’m like, we shouldn’t be married. He is not even somebody I think should be married, ever.” Despite her moment of clarity, Amina says she still plans to ride it out on with Peter and has no plans to leave him. [While]Amina doesn’t plan on leaving Peter, she does think it was a mistake for them to wed as quickly as they did. She doesn’t feel as though their marriage was built on a strong enough foundation. “That’s the reason why him and even me now says that we regret it. We didn’t get married like every other couple. It was just a spontaneous thing that probably should not have happened. Sometimes I wish I wasn’t married to him,” Amina confessed. This chick must really be lost in the sauce to think that anything normal or good can come of this union when she herself admits that Peter is far from marriage material. Amina also spoke on watching Peter prepare to get it in with Tara on national television after they were married. Hear her reaction to that on the flip.

San Francisco Evacuated Due to "Suspicious Device" Sigthing

A bomb threat shut down San Francisco’s Union Square yesterday for approximately two hours. The incident took place around 11:45 a.m. when an unattended backpack was discovered along Stockton Street. In response, authorities ordered a multi-block area in the city to be closed, as workers in the vicinity were asked to remain inside their businesses and tourists were ordered to avoid the area. Cable car service was also stopped during the investigation. Fortunately, bomb-sniffing dogs and their human colleagues did not find anything dangerous inside the suspicious device, which was sitting near a text that had been set for this weekend’s women’s marathon. “It’s better to be safe than sorry,” Police spokesman Albie Esparza told The San Francisco Chronicle of why a shutdown was ordered. “We take these incidents really seriously.” Union Square is a major tourist draw in San Francisco. It is visited by millions every year and is comprised of many high-end retail stores.

Rand Paul Gives State of the Union Response on Behalf of Tea Party

In the tea party rebuke to President Obama’s State of the Union address Tuesday night, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) laid out an alternative vision for the future. He also broke ranks at times from some in his own Republican party, which was officially represented by Marco Rubio ‘s own State of the Union response. Rand Paul State of the Union Response The son of retired Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) pushed to cut corporate taxes in half and slash trillions in federal spending, welcoming the “sequester” cuts on March 1. “The president does this big ‘woe is me’ over the $1.2-trillion sequester he endorsed and signed into law,” said Ron Paul on behalf of the Tea Party Express. “Some Republicans are joining him.” Rand Paul hit conservative talking points on school choice, 2nd Amendment gun rights and limiting executive powers, but focused mainly on fiscal issues. He called for “a new bipartisan consensus” to cut spending, starting with leaders from each party being willing to take on their own sacred cows. He called for a budget plan that would cap the personal income tax rate at 17 percent and cut corporate taxes in half, while still balancing the budget. Doing that would require steep cuts, Paul unabashedly said, but that includes defense spending, which many in the GOP consider to be off limits. Paul also struck other positions not often associated with the tea party or the Republican party, including backing widespread immigration reform. Republicans need to be the party that “embraces” immigrants, he said. Additionally, he said he opposes “secret kill lists of American citizens who can be killed without trial,” a reference to military drone strikes and surveillance.

President Obama’s State Of The Union Address Calls For Rise Of Middle Class And A Gun Control Vote

SMH @ hatin’ a$$ House Speaker John Boehner in the background. Via CNN reports : President Barack Obama challenged Congress to join him in taking on “our generation’s task” to ignite the growth of a “rising, thriving middle class,” using the first State of the Union speech of his second term to prod Republicans to compromise on the major challenges facing the nation. “It is our unfinished task to restore the basic bargain that built this country — the idea that if you work hard and meet your responsibilities, you can get ahead, no matter where you come from, what you look like, or who you love,” Obama said Tuesday night, sounding familiar themes from his re-election campaign last year. The president emphasized economic growth and job creation, and insisted that his proposals would not increase the nation’s federal deficit. He also made an emotional plea for Congress to hold votes on controversial proposals for tougher gun laws after the Newtown, Connecticut, shootings in December that killed 20 schoolchildren. At the same time, Obama called for legislators to work together for the good of the nation, saying Americans “expect us to put the nation’s interests before party.” “They do expect us to forge reasonable compromise where we can,” he said. “For they know that America moves forward only when we do so together, and that the responsibility of improving this union remains the task of us all.” It was his fourth State of the Union address and seventh speech to a joint sitting of Congress, and analysts considered it a crucial moment for setting the tone for the political dialogue after four years of partisan division and congressional dysfunction. With the government facing deep spending cuts mandated by a previous agreement between Obama and Congress to raise the federal debt ceiling, Obama renewed his call for a comprehensive deficit-reduction plan that includes new tax revenue coupled with spending cuts. President Obama also called for the Federal minimum wage to be raised to $9.00, citing statistics which show that even in homes where two family members work full-time entry level jobs, they are unable to live above the poverty line. He also spoke strongly about the need to keep the world safe from nuclear weapons, directly addressing concerns about Iran and North Korean nuclear programs, as well as the U.S./Soviet programs. Did you watch the President’s speech? Conservatives are already attacking him, saying that his approach represents big government that will only deepen the economic crisis in the U.S. What do you think? AP

Fair Or Far-Fetched? Towson University Students Look To Establish ‘White Student Union’

With Black Student Unions all over the counrty, should white students to be allowed have one too? Towson University Students Rallying For ‘White Student Union’ A Towson University student is arguing that if black students can come together and celebrate their heritage and history, white students should be able to do the same. The student, who has also gathered support from his peers, is proposing the establishment of a ‘White Student Union’ on campus. A Towson University student wants to start a ‘White Student Union’ on the campus. Matthew Heimbach said that he is gathering support from other students who support the idea of the organization. The controversial idea was published in the University’s newspaper, where Heimbach alluded that the purpose of the organization is to replicate other student union organizations on campus by giving white students the same avenue to appreciate their history and heritage. Students and professors balked at the idea of divisive ‘white only’ proposed organization on campus. One student said, “We had to congregate together because we weren’t allowed to congregate with whites. There is a difference between a White Student Union and a Black Student Union based on the history of America.” According to reports for CBS Baltimore, Heimbach was also previously involved with an organization called Youth for Western Civilization, a group that caused uproar when messages of white pride were written across the Maryland campus. Richard Vatz is a communications professor at Towson University and a former adviser of the Youth for Western Civilization, who had this to say: “When you have a group that calls themselves the White Student Union, their only purpose is generally hostility towards those who are non-white.” What say you Bossip readers? Is it fair to deny these students the right to form this organization? How do you think a White Student Union would differ from a Black Student Union? Source
