L.A will have Cost Cutting Plans Implemented

“There are no easy decisions or simple ways to solve this budget crisis,” Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa said. “But as the CEO of this great city, it is my responsibility to make these difficult, but necessary, decisions to steer the city out of this crisis and onto solid financial ground.” These words came L.A’s mayor who has announced Tuesday for a plan to shut down all city services — except for public safety and revenue-generating positions — twice a week beginning Monday in an effort to solve the city’s budget crisis. Day before this announcement, the Department of Water and Power said that they will not pay the city’s $73 million general fund. City Controller Wendy Greuel said, the city’s general fund will be negative $10 million on May 5 because of this. She called the situation “the most urgent fiscal crisis” in the city’s recent history. She urged the mayor to transfer $90 million from the city’s reserve funds so that she could pay city employees and the city’s bills. This is it . Duke vs Butler Game Time NCAA Championship Game 2010 TimeThe moment we have all been waiting for. It came down to a blowout and a 2 point win. What started out as March Madness, the Sweet Sixteen, the Elite Eight and the Final Four is now down to the Terrific Two. Ok, I just made that last one up, but either way, we’re down to the two top teams in the NCAA Mens Basketball Bracket. The NCAA Championship game will be between Duke and Butler. The Duke vs West Virginia game turned out to be a blowout with Duke rallying West Virginia 78 – 57. On the other hand, the Butler vs Michigan game came down to the last second with Butler pulling away from Michigan 52 – 50. The 2010 Championship game will be between Butler vs Duke. Is Walmart Open on Easter Sunday?

Most of Walmart stores will be open this Easter Sunday, you can still buy your Easter gifts and Easter dinner items. Some Walmart stores will be open on their normal operating hours, so Easter shoppers can still shop for the items you need. Try to call before deciding to leave just to be sure. But if you are still in doubt that a Walmart store near you might not be open, try to visit their website, www.walmart .com and click the “Store Finder” tab near the top of the page, just enter your zip code and state and that’s it, you can now verify if it’s open. Of course there’s no assurance if all Walmart stores will be open, it depends on what region it was located.  Here’s another thing, some of these stores will be open 24-hours, and some of them might close around 10 o’clock this evening. Adam Carolla goes on a rant on his radio show about Manny Pacquiao. It seemed like a comedic and normal radio commentary, but unfortunately for him, the Philippines didn’t think the same way. Apparently, many Filipinos found his rant very offensive and are demanding an apology from the comedian Adam Carolla. Adam Carolla spoke about Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao. Mainly, he spoke more about Manny Pacman Pacquiao. Examiner.com reports: Adam Carolla starts off his tirade by bashing Manny for not giving blood before a fight. He then proceeds to say that Manny is off “praying to chicken bones” and that you don’t have to respect him because he’s a “fu**ing idiot”. “Someone has to tell him that it doesn’t make a difference.” “Here’s how you know when your country doesn’t have a lot going for it: When everything is about Manny Pacquiao.” “Get a fu**in life as a country” “All you fu**in got is just an illiterate guy who happens to smash other guys in the head better than other people” “Really, you want some guy with brain damage running your country? Why don’t you get your sh*t together?” “All they have over there is Manny Pacquiao and sex stores.” “What happens when Floyd Mayweather beats him? Does your country go into depression?” It is unsure how the Philippines and the Filipinos will react to this as days come along. There is already a lot of online anger directed towards Adam Carolla. This Adam Carolla vs Manny Pacquiao or Adam Carolla vs the Philippines match has just started folks! And it seems like it’s going to be a long fight. We’re scheduled for 12 rounds with no being saved by the bell. Each round is one month long! Adam Carolla was the original host of “The Man Show” on Comedy Central alongside Jimmy Kimmel. Apple’s iPad Tablets Hit Stores Saturday

metro co Apple’s iPad  tablets hit stores Saturday.  Consumers are now eager to see for themselves whether the raved device is worth all the hot publicity. Some queued since 5am Friday. Some have it pre-ordered The iPad goes on sale at exactly 9 in the morning in more than 2oo stores in United States including Best Buys Stores. Wall Street is even curious about the device which was highly praised and touted as a bridge between a laptop and smartphone and stores will be monitored if it will have the same mass following like the iPhone. It was not revealed  about iPad supply numbers but analysts estimated that the compant will release a few hundred thousand tablets and probably 2 million by the end of September. According to the web site of a group called the Guardians of the free Republics wants to restore America by peacefully dismantling parts of the government. As of Wednesday, more than 30 governors were threatened receiving letters saying that if they don’t leave the office within three days, they will be removed, according to an internal intelligence note obtained by The Associated Press by the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security . Last week, Hank Johnson, Congress, said in reference that it is possible for a Guam tipping over incident due to overpopulation. Apparently, this statement created a huge buzz all over the internet world and the America. Hans Johnson, Congress, interrogates the Commander of the United States Pacific Fleet about the size of Guam and why they are putting more and more marine families on it. In a very intense discussion, Hans Johnson of the Congres s expresses his concern, he stated a reference on Guam tipping over as follows: “My fear is that the whole island will become so overpopulated it would tip over and capsize.” Robert Willard’s response, “We don’t anticipate that.” Hank Johnson of the Congress has this to say about his statement as published in his website. “The subtle humor of this obviously metaphorical reference to a ship capsizing illustrated my concern about the impact of the planned military buildup on this small tropical island.” So did Hank Johnson, Congress really think that Guam would be tipping over and capsize? A new website is giving people too much info, private info. Unlike Google, this new website, Spokeo.com, can aggregate and condense personal info from hundreds of different sites and place it all into one handy report. This is web stalking to the next level. The new website, Spokeo.com can even get info from social media networks like Facebook and MySpace. Even scarier, it can find your credit info and home address, as well as your phone numbers. It finds your info through other random sites with your business listings, housing listings, marketing surveys, phone bills, census information, phone listings and more. Since it’s online and new, there aren’t any laws that really limit it. So for now, we may be in danger of having too much info too readily available to ANYONE. Thought there is a way to protect yourself and your loved ones from the Spokeo.com free personal info listings: 1. Go to the new website Spokeo.com 2. Search for your own name. It’s possible to narrow down the search for yourself by adding your city and state. 3. If you get results, click on your own name and address in the list of all the results. Go to the info page that was listed for you. 4. Copy the long URL of that page. The URL is the page address of your unique name that comes up. It should be in your web address bar on the top of your browser and should start out with a look something like this – http://spokeo.com/search…… 5. Now you will have to open the site by clicking on the link that says “Remove from Spokeo” 6. Paste the URL of your own info that you found earlier into the space that asks for your URL. 7. You need to put in a valid Email address. This email will be used to recieve a message and confirmation from Spokeo.com with a link to complete the removal of your name. So it must be a valid email address. You can set up a new email address if you would like so as not to give your old one. 8. Enter the code that is given to you and then click the link that says “Remove from Spokeo” so that you will be removed from Spokeo.com. 9. Finish the process by checking your email for the email that was sent by Spokeo.com and click on the link provided by Spokeo.com. 10. Try searching for yourself again after about an hour.
