The jury’s still out on whether the upcoming stoner comedy/medieval adventure Your Highness is actually funny, but the promotional wizards behind the film are really pushing the nudity, so we’re willing to give it the benefit of the doubt. Natalie Portman will be bringing the crazy tomorrow when her Oscar-winning film Black Swan comes to DVD, but we’re far more excited about Natalie bringing the sexy in the upcoming comedy Your Highness . Natalie plays hard-as-nails warrior Isabel in this bizarre blend of stoner comedy and medieval epic, but she shows her softer (back) side bathing in a thong in one glorious scene. The new restricted trailer for Your Highness features more nudity than your average PG-13 action epic, with a longer look at Natalie’s seat meat and some mam orable topless nymphs: Skinterestingly, Natale’s butt was virtually clad in CGI bikini bottoms in the “general audiences” trailer, confirming that this nubile nymph is just too hot for general consumption. Insiders behind the upcoming Superman: Man of Steel have confirmed that gorgeous ginger Amy Adams will play Lois Lane in the franchise reboot, which will be shooting in Chicago this summer. Director Zack Snyder said in an interview with the LA Times that Lois Lane was a “linchpin” to the film and that the Depression-era character would be updated for 2012, adding: “There was a big, giant search for Lois. For us it was a big thing and obviously a really important role. Atlanta’s own Ludacris has signed on to play a cop in the upcoming film New Years Eve . The movie will serve as a sequel to the romantic comedy Valentines Day . The film will follow a group of people as they prepare for the upcoming holiday. It is slated to open on December 9th. Former teen queen Evan Rachel Wood will bare some retro rackage in the upcoming HBO adaptation of Mildred Pierce . Evan Rachel plays Veda, the spoiled brat daughter of hardworking Mildred ( Kate Winslet ). For the remake, set in the 1930s, she made the thoroughly modern decision to go full frontal: “I hadn’t made my mind up if I was going to go full until we were rehearsing, and I was talking to Todd [Haynes, the series’ writer and director] – like ‘What do you think?’ – and he was like, ‘I think we’re going to be chickening out if we don’t just go for it.’” At a New York press event for Mildred Pierce , Evan Rachel said she was encouraged by costar Kate Winslet , who famously sent men rushing to the library with her FFN in The Reader (2008) : “I looked at Kate and she was like, ‘You’ve got to do it. Trust me, it’s so brave. Put a merkin on and you’ll be fine.’” On the topic of her muff flap, Evan Rachel quipped: “Let’s just say, I had to wear a wig because it was in the ’30s, and everything had to look like it was in the ’30s.” Next time, Mr. Skin suggests method shaving. She is, after all, halfway to her EGOT (winning an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony award), but when the Oscar-winning star of “The Queen” takes the stage for the first time April 9 as the host of “Saturday Night Live,” she’ll have some help from a group of “SNL” veterans. She’ll be joined by six-time musical guests the Foo Fighters , who will be promoting their upcoming album, Wasting Light , which hits stores just a few days later. The Foos are still riding high and in the running of MTV’s Musical March Madness , trying to retain their #1 ranking as they face off against Disturbed in the second round. Mirren will be promoting her upcoming remake of “Arthur,” which stars Russell Brand as the title character memorably portrayed as a shambling, careless drunk by the late Dudley Moore in the 1981 version. She won’t be the only Oscar winner to grace the “SNL” stage next month either: Fellow British entertainment royalty Sir Elton John will both perform and host the show on April 2, marking his first musical visit to “SNL” since 1982. John will be joined by his musical pal and creative partner Leon Russell, and the pair are expected to highlight cuts from their acclaimed joint album, The Union . John inducted Russell into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last week, and both artists have been enjoying a bit of a musical renaissance thanks to the album.
