The topic of who should play Christian and Ana in the upcoming Fifty Shades of Grey movie has become an ongoing fantasy casting game. Young Hollywood fan favorites such as Ian Somerhalder and Lucy Hale have been rumored for the big roles, but who will direct the picture? Possibly one HUGE name you never saw coming. None other than Angelina Jolie is in talks to direct the movie, based on the best-selling erotic novel by E.L. James, according to Deadline. The Oscar winner has reportedly had “a conversation or two” about stepping up to direct Fifty Shades of Grey , which Universal Pictures bought the rights to. A close Angelina Jolie source denies these reports, saying the newly-engaged 37-year-old actress is “completely focused on her next film, Maleficent .” It’s hard to see Jolie tied to the film, but not because of her schedule – Fifty Shades is still a long ways off. That’s right, both Hayden Panettiere – who will show off her own singing voice on the upcoming ABC drama Nashville – and Ashley Greene walked the red carpet at the event, each looking pretty and each angling for your vote. By James Montgomery Ke$ha Photo: Getty Images It’s not exactly “balls-out irreverent rock and roll” — quite the opposite, in fact — but with one 40-second snippet, Ke$ha is serving notice that her new album is most definitely going to be a departure. On Wednesday (June 6), frequent Ke$h collaborator Dr. Luke gave fans a sneak peek at a song from her long-in-the-works new album, an all-too-brief preview that features her cooing about a lover’s prowess — “When you take my body to the stars/ I believe it/ Boy, this love is supernatural/ Can you feel it?” over a bed of shimmering synths and knotty bass that gradually builds to a twisting, rapidly contrasting electronic break. It’s the kind of high-gloss production she largely avoided on her breakthrough Animal album, and while we certainly can’t figure out how the track fits in with her other collaborations (she’s reportedly worked with everyone from Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne to Iggy Pop on the still-untitled new album), the new track certainly showcases her maturation. And thanks to Ke$h herself, at least we know what the new track is about: having sex with ghosts. Yes, just hours after Dr. Luke leaked the snippet, Ke$ha took to her Twitter account to mock-chastise her producer, writing : “You leaked my song about me having sexy time with a ghost, @thedoctorluke,” she wrote. “Now everyone knows I get it on with ghosts!” Somehow, that doesn’t surprise us. There’s still no firm release date for Ke$ha’s new album, which she began working on in February. But, from the sound of one snippet, at least, it sounds like things are progressing quickly. ‘Twilight’ star will play a frat brother in the Adam Sandler sequel, co-star Milo Ventimiglia tells MTV News. His character, Peter Petrelli, had the ability to leach powers from any other superpowered individual he encountered. Now, if those powers actually belonged to Ventimiglia in real life, he would be the proud owner of the most-talked-about abs in Hollywood — because he’s about to team up with “Twilight” hunk Taylor Lautner, on a comedy, no less. During our Sneak Peek Week presentation with the “That’s My Boy” cast , Ventimiglia spoke about his upcoming work on “Grown Ups 2,” the upcoming follow-up to Adam Sandler’s most successful comedy to date. The actor, sporting a bleach-blond hairdo, insisted that he’s not “just blond because I took up volleyball” but because he’s about to bro down with Sandler and the artist occasionally known as Jacob Black. “I’m going on to do ‘Grown Ups 2,’ ” Ventimiglia said during the live Q&A, all part of the lead-up to Sunday night’s MTV Movie Awards . “I’m [working] with Taylor Lautner. We’re playing fraternity brothers. I haven’t started [shooting] — I’m heading out the day after tomorrow — but I met him. He’s a sweet kid. A very, very nice guy.” Ventimiglia already has one Sandler film in the can, of course. The actor, next seen on Frank Darabont’s TNT drama “L.A. Noir,” delivers a shockingly hilarious turn in “That’s My Boy” as Chad, a hard-nosed military man with a secret passion for tickle times and jazz hands. With that movie hitting theaters June 15 and “Grown Ups 2” on the horizon, Ventimiglia said he truly feels like he’s part of the Happy Madison family that Sandler has established over the years. “I’m in the family now,” he said. “The first phone call I got from him, he said, ‘Hey, buddy, it’s going to be like summer camp.’ Summer camp?
