Cardi B Speaks On Why Video Vixens’ Stories Of Sexual Harassment Aren’t Taken Seriously

Source: Steve Granitz / Getty Cardi B  is someone we can always count on to give us the real, and that’s exactly what she did in her recent interview with  Cosmopolitan . On Monday, March 19, the magazine unveiled their full cover story with the rapper, where she decided to speak out on video vixens being completely left out of Hollywood’s #MeToo movement. She also talks about her own experience with dealing with sexual harassment in the industry. She explains her experiences saying, “A lot of video vixens have spoke about this and nobody gives a f**k. When I was trying to be a vixen, people were like, ‘You want to be on the cover of this magazine?’ Then they pull their d****s out. I bet if one of these women stands up and talks about it, people are going to say, ‘So what? You’re a ho. It don’t matter.’” Do you think Cardi’s story has some truth to it? So Sad: Boy Shoots His 13-Year-Old Sister Dead Over Video Game Controller

Source: Bence Barócsi / EyeEm / Getty Tragedy hit a Mississippi home on Saturday when things got out of control over a video game. A 13-year-old girl was killed by her 9-year-old brother after she refused to give up her video game controller. Monroe County Sheriff Cecil Cantrell said the girl was shot in the back of the head and she later died from her injuries at Le Bonheur’s Children’s Hospital on Sunday. Authorities still don’t know how the 9-year-old had access to the weapon or how much he knew about the dangers of the gun. “This is all new ground for us, we’ve never dealt with a kid shooting a kid at age 9,” Cantrell said. “We don’t know yet what kind of charges or if charges will be pressed. We want to make sure we’re doing everything correctly.” The sheriff said the investigation will not be rushed and they hope to keep the identities of the family under wraps, according to Clarion Ledger . We’ll keep you updated if more major info surfaces.

Why The Death Of Rapper Craig Mack Scared Me [Op-Ed]

Source: Johnny Nunez / Getty   Let’s get straight to it. This is why the Craig Mack death spooked me. I’m 36. 10 years younger than Mack. I work in an industry that may be fun, you meet a lot of people, get free shit at events (food and drinks be love) but it puts a lot of wear and tears on your body. Listening to mogs talking that “No Sleep till I’d dead” shit will have you dead, early. I remember feeling like I had to put in a lot of work to get to where I wanted to go and overworking myself to the point I was in the hospital. I prided myself on never having to get an IV in me let alone have a hospital stay and my ass was in there ashy as hell. At that point, shit changed… Now I got a family. READ:  Rap Pioneer Craig Mack Dead At 46 And my ass was almost in the same position with a monitor on my chest to see if anything was wrong with my heart. I’m good though, thanks for asking. But I do wonder if all that partying and no sleep shit may have taken a toll on me that would catch up eventually. Then Phonte dropped an album with a song talking about the same shit. The Mack dies at 46 due to Heart Failure… 46. I eat a lot better. That might be the biggest blessing being away from Chicago cause between Harolds, Remus, El Gran and my moms, I’d be 320 pounds again. I walk a lot. Go to the gym in my complex now (cause its dope). I am working on it. Try not to let shit stress me out (NOW THATS THE HARD ONE). But I’m not trying to leave my family soon at all. 10 years away from 46. Men, make sure you go to the doctor. Get your sleep. Eat right. I remember growing up in Chicago in the 90’s trying to make it to 18. Now, I’m trying to live to see my grandkids and great-grandkids grow up.
