Usher, Chris Brown Tease Co-Headlining Tour Online

By James Dinh Chris Brown and Usher Photo: Robert Keshishian/ Newscom With their top-notch dance moves and tunes that make the ladies swoon, an Usher and Chris Brown co-headlining tour sounds like an idea made in R&B heaven. And according to producer Bryan-Michael Cox, it may just happen. This news comes just weeks after Breezy’s surprise onstage appearance during Usher’s set at Reggae SumFest. Speculation began when Cox revealed during Jermaine Dupri’s “Living the Life” YouTube show that the singers are planning to tour together. “Usher and the boy Chris Brown are going on tour, y’all know that, right?” Cox said. Dupri immediately replied, “They might not know that.” But after the cat was let out of the bag, Cox admitted, “I might’ve just gave y’all some exclusive sh–.” Once word spread that that Usher and Breezy might be planning a co-headlining tour, the trio took to Twitter to respond to the hype. Responding to a fellow songwriter, Cox seemed to backpedal his revelation when he tweeted , “@rchonore86 I was drunk. Lol. Talking crazy. I don’t know for a fact that THAT tour is happening. But it would be dope tho. Lol.” But the R&B heartthrobs kept the idea alive as they asked fans what they think of the possibility of an Usher/Brown tour. “What would you guys say if me and Usher went on tour?” Brown tweeted . An hour later, Usher’s Twitter message read, “If you could see Usher perform live with anyone – who would it be?” Reps for Usher and Brown could not be reached for comment at press time. Earlier this year, Brown’s U.K. tour plans were postponed because the singer was denied a work visa on the grounds that he is guilty of a serious criminal offense. Usher Gets Steamy In ‘There Goes My Baby’ Video

R&B heartthrob goes shirtless in sexy new clip released online Tuesday. By Jayson Rodriguez Usher’s “There Goes My Baby” Photo: LaFace/ Jive Usher has taken on critics who say he’s lost his swagger. And with a new video for his single “There Goes My Baby,” the singer continues to push back at detractors who dare to suggest he’s slipped. His last single, the Will.I.Am-produced “OMG,” is still riding high on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, currently resting comfortably in the #3 slot. And now, he’s pushing his next number with a video for the slow-burning ballad “There Goes My Baby.” Released on Tuesday (July 13), the clip features Usher and his leading lady trading sweaty moves under a desert sun. In the opening scene, Usher has his back to the camera as the sun rises just over his right shoulder. The R&B crooner, sporting a black tank top and dark jeans, slowly pulls his love interest closer toward him in the next scene, and then ditches his tee as he sings to her. “There goes my baby,” he sings on the chorus. “Loving everything you do/ Ooh girl, look at you.” As the song’s climax begins, the pair unite once again and exchange kisses as the sun fades. “There Goes My Baby” is the latest from Usher’s Raymond v. Raymond, which the singer recently announced would be made available in two separate extended editions next month. Versus will feature eight new songs, including “DJ Got Us Fallin’ in Love,” a Pitbull-assisted number that premiered on the singer’s website earlier this month. Usher will also release Raymond v. Raymond (The Deluxe Edition). That edition of the album will include tracks from Versus, as well as material from the original version of Raymond v. Usher Performs First Concert In China — And Sings In Chinese

Carter Wang Leehom and Usher Photo: 42 West For his first-ever show in Beijing, Usher paired up with Chinese singer Leehom Wang onstage to sing his hit “OMG.” They also joined forces on Wang’s “My One and Only” — which Usher even sang in Mandarin. Usher encouraged his fans to sing along. “I want you to have crowd participation, which is very odd in my Asian markets, because a lot of times, they don’t like to sing out of respect, but I don’t mind. I love for my audience to sing along with me,” Usher said, according to Rap-Up.com . “That’s the part that makes me really enjoy it and I hope it makes them enjoy the show as well.” It was Usher’s first trip to China, and he pulled in Leehom to perform with him because he wanted to give his Chinese fans a little hometown flavor. “I am really excited!” Wang said before the show. “It is a great honor to be able to perform with Usher who has had such a powerful role in developing R&B around the world. The audience in Beijing is in for a really special night.” Usher said Wang came to his attention earlier that year as he started preparing for the tour. “You know, in looking at the music in Asia, Leehom really stood out,” Usher said in a statement. “Like me, he started young and I’m impressed by his natural talent, plus he has written some great songs. Usher To Release Versus LP In August

The album, entitled Versus, features eight new songs, including the Pitbull collaboration “DJ Got Us Fallin’ in Love,” which recently premiered on the singer’s website . In addition to Versus, Usher will also put out Raymond v. Raymond (The Deluxe Edition) on the same day. The deluxe edition of the crooner’s chart-topping album will include all the tracks from Versus and the original version of Raymond v. Raymond. The singer’s latest album took the top spot on the Billboard albums chart when it debuted earlier this year, moving more than 300,000 copies during its first week of release. Before Raymond dropped, the hit-making heartthrob told MTV News that the album held special significance for him. “This album means so much to my career,” Usher said. “I think this is the one time where I’m able to put it all in, emotionally and the good times — super-freaky and then also super-emotional. The event takes place June 6 at the new Meadowlands Stadium, with Usher headlining a lineup that includes Drake, Nicki Minaj, DJ Khaled and Ludacris. Trey Songz, Juelz Santana, Fabolous and Reflection Eternal fill out the roster, with Gucci Mane — who is due to be released from jail soon — rounding out the bill. New York’s Summer Jam Lineup For headliner Usher, the top spot at the show is another feather in his cap for what is proving to be a stellar year, which has already included a #1 album . “This album means so much to my career,” Usher recently said told MTV News about Raymond v. Raymond. “I think this is the one time where I’m able to put it all in, emotionally and the good times — super-freaky and then also super-emotional. Raymond v. Raymond, artistically, is one of my greatest pieces of work, not only just because of the content, but also the people whom I got involved in it: T.I., Will.I.Am, Puff, Nicki Minaj.” The album also features “She Don’t Know,” a track with Ludacris, who collaborated on one of Usher’s biggest hits, 2004’s “Yeah!” And the video for the Will I. Am. collaboration “OMG” recently hit the Internet. The clip is all performance as Usher brings his dance moves to the forefront. “A lot of people may have felt like I lost my swagger,” Usher said. “Let me tell you something: I play long-balls, so now we back. This one is it: Raymond v. Raymond !” As always, you can expect some of the performers to bring out surprise guests — it’s a Summer Jam tradition. Some of the biggest names in the game have come out unadvertised for the concert. Just last year, Jay-Z set off his Blueprint 3 campaign by performing “D.O.A. Wednesday night’s American Idol not only featured the elimination of Didi Benami , but a performance from Usher and a cameo by Justin Bieber himself. Bieber stopped by to support his mentor Usher, who also coached the Idol aspirants this week, but also to tape his upcoming “Idol Gives Back” segment. Naturally, this being Justin Bieber , he caused flat-out pandemonium. After he was done, a ‘tween fan rushed the stage, prompting security to intervene with a secure bear hug before she could present herself to J-Biebs. Speaking of crazed fans, more than a few 13-year-old girls were so excited when Bieber came out to tape “Idol Gives Back” that they started crying. Leave it to protege Bieber to upstage mentor Usher … OMG : Usher performs on American Idol . After a lengthy process of getting him to the point where he could actually perform without the stage being ambushed, things went according to plan. Finally, Justin Bieber, who now boasts the #1 album in the U.S. as well as some amazing hair, took to the stage and performed “U Smile and “Baby.” When this performance actually airs on the Fox show’s annual “Idol Gives Back” special, we strongly suggest you find a hat and hold the f*%k onto it. American Idol Didi March 31 Diddy Dirty Money, Usher and Ruben Studdard

Diddy’s group, the Diddy Dirty Money entertains the millions of viewers and the crowds at American Idol but the real story is about how the 10 finalists to American Idol are now reduced to 9. They sang the song “Helo Good Morning.” Diddy, Diddy Dirty Money, Usher and Ruben Studdard performed at the Top 10 final for American Idol season 9. Didi Benami, who sang What Becomes of the Broken Hearted went home with a broken heart. She was always the weaker member of the crew and many expected her to go home. Though she did have a strong following of loyalists, it was her time. Simon Cowell gave Didi Benami the news. It’s quite a coincidence that the day Diddy and his new group the Diddy Dirty Money comes onto the American Idol stage, that it would also be Didi that would go home. Maybe Didi can join Diddy’s group and they can call it the Diddy Didi Dirty Money or Didi Diddy Dirty Money. I apologize for that lame joke and will keep my day job.
