Breaking News: Oscar Pistorius Sentenced To 5 Years In Prison

Oscar’s day of reckoning is finally here… Oscar Pistorius Sentenced Bladerunner Oscar Pistorius is going to prison for five years for the death of his girlfriend Reva Steenkamp. Despite being found not guilty of premeditated murder , the Olympian was found guilty of culpable homicide. BBC News reports: South African athlete Oscar Pistorius has been given five years in jail for killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp. In court in Pretoria, Judge Thokozile Masipa also gave Pistorius a three-year suspended sentence for a firearms charge. Pistorius has now been taken to the cells. Prosecutors had called for a minimum 10-year term, and the defence argued for community service and house arrest. Pistorius was convicted of culpable homicide but cleared of murder. Defence lawyer Barry Roux said his client was expected to serve 10 months in prison, with the rest under house arrest. The BBC’s Andrew Harding, in court, says the parents of Reeva Steenkamp, Barry and June, tell him they are happy with the sentence and relieved the case is over. Hmmmm…five years for culpable homicide? Is that fair or foul????

Chelsea Houska & Taylor Halbur: Will They Shun Adam Lind When He Gets Out of Jail?

Teen Mom 2 cast member Chelsea Houska’s ex-boyfriend and baby daddy Adam Lind has had a contentious relationship with her from the start. When he’s released from jail October 3, that’s not likely to change. Lind, of course, has been two daughters while serving time in jail. His latest sentence stems from his (most recent) fiery car crash; Lind has no valid license and has thrice been arrested for DUI. He’s a stand-up individual. As for Lind’s second daughter? That would be Paislee, the child he fathered with Taylor Halbur, whom Adam started seeing when he dumped Chelsea. While Houska is gearing up for a custody battle with Lind, as you’ll know if you watch Teen Mom 2 online , things aren’t as rocky right now with Halbur. She says he’ll be a part of Paislee’s life when he gets released. “Taylor still wants Adam to be in Paislee’s life,” the source said. “Taylor thinks it’s important for them to have a relationship.” Taylor Halbur and Lind, like Houska and Lind, are not together, and both women reportedly think it’s a good thing in the long run that Lind got locked up. “Taylor thinks it’s good that Adam is owning up and taking responsibility for his actions,” the source said, even if Taylor will give him plenty of visitation. “Adam will get to see Paislee almost every weekend since that’s when Taylor works. Taylor isn’t worried at all about Adam being around their daughter.” Chelsea Houska may feel differently, since the derelict of society has now been in two accidents when he was supposed to be with their daughter Aubree. Tyler Jacob Moore as Hans on Once Upon a Time: First Look!

Judging by the colossal ratings for Once Upon a Time’s season premiere last night, audiences are being sucked into the world of Disney’s Frozen once again. Ever since it was announced back in spring that the show would feature storylines based on the animated musical smash, fan interest in OUAT has been at an all-time high. The casting of Georgiana Haig as Queen Elsa  in June generated controversy. (Most fans approved, but some had been pushing for Elsa lookalike and Internet celeb Anna Faith Carlson ). But we doubt producers’ decision to cast Tyler Jacob Moore’s as Hans will provoke will be the subject of much debate. Yes, People magazine provided us with our first look at Moore as Hans , and this dude certainly has the right look. It remains to be seen whether Moore will be able to capture Hans’ mix of sleazy charm and barely-contained rage, but we can’t imagine another actor looking more perfectly like the Prince of the Southern Isles made flesh and blood. In addition to the Ice Queen and Hans, the show’s casting directors perfectly nailed the Elsa’s sister, as well her parents King Agdar and Queen Idun – all of whom look pretty much exactly as they did on the big screen. Hopefully, the show’s writers will be able to rise to the occasion as well. Those Frozen fans can be tough to please. LC and William Tell exchanged vows on Saturday in an intimate California ceremony, insiders confirm to Us Weekly. They were surrounded by close friends and family members. “What a perfect way to start our lives together; surrounded by the people we love most,” Conrad and Tell said via statement. Conrad and Tell went on a Valentine’s Day blind date after being up by mutual friends in 2012. No pressure there, huh?!? Earlier today, Vivid Entertainment sent a press release to THG that said its chairman had seen a “teaser” for a video that claimed to feature the 24-year old getting it on with an unidentified male. Co-Founder Steve Hirsch said he believed such a sex tape would possibly outsell the iconic Kim Kardashian sex tape . Scarlett Johansson is a first time mother! The actress behind Black Widow and Lucy welcomed a baby girl with the great name of Rose today, as fiance Romain Dauriac was by her side for the delivery. Johansson’s rep confirmed this exciting news to The Associated Press, who reports that “mother and daughter are doing well.” The 29-year old kept a very low profile while pregnant, rarely making public appearances. She was married to Ryan Reynolds for two years until the couple divorced in 2010 and both moved on (he’s now hitched to Blake Lively.), with Johansson getting engaged again about a year ago. Well, we now know who will win American Idol Season 32… Carrie Underwood is pregnant with her first child! The singer confirmed the news herself in the cutest of manners, putting a different spin on the term Labor Day. “In honor of ‘Labor’ Day, Ace & Penny would like to make an announcement,” Underwood wrote on Instagram of her dogs. “Their parents couldn’t be happier …” Cue the following photo, the following shirts and Carrie Underwood becoming the latest person to  announce her pregnancy via her dogs . Husband Mike Fisher, a professional hockey player, then reiterated the good news on Twitter, giving a hint at one creative baby name in the process. “We haven’t picked names yet but it’s looking like Fly is gonna fly. #boyorgirl #flyfisher,” Fisher wrote.
