Oprah: Injured Lifting Tyler Perry Birthday Gift!

Tyler Perry sent Oprah a bouquet of flowers for her 59th birthday Tuesday. Nice. Apparently it wasn’t a small one, because she injured her back picking them up. Perry posted a mea culpa on Facebook, under the title, “I Feel So Bad.” “I like to send really large flower arrangements to people for whatever occasion. Well, I sent one to Oprah for her birthday. She strained her back picking it up,” he writes. “No joke! Feel better Oprah. Happy birthday. Sorry. :-(” “Next year I’m sending her one rose. :-)” The day before, Winfrey shared on Twitter that she was spending her birthday with longtime sweetheart Stedman Graham. “Enjoying lunch with Stedman. No plans to leave p.j.’s all day,” she wrote. The following day, she posted a picture of her surrounded with flowers (presumably Tyler’s) along with the words, “Thanks everyone for your birthday wishes.” Perry was still feeling bad, she posted a message for him too: “@tylerperry no need to feel bad, love the roses and got an extra day in bed. Can you say #icepack” Clearly there’s no hard feelngs. Winfrey inked a multi-year deal with Perry, under which he will executive produce, write and direct two new scripted series for OWN.

Liza Morales – Lamar Odom’s ex-girlfriend and the mother of his children – has joined the cast of TLC’s Sister Wives Confidential . And on that educational program, Morales says of Odom’s wife: “I don’t know if she’s good maternally.” Ouch! Slam! Sort of! Morales is quick to add that she hasn’t “heard anything negative” about the way Khloe has been around her stepkids, so she’s pretty much just talking about of her rear end. As for similarities between Khloe and Morales? “I’m 100% Puerto Rican. I don’t see it,” Liza said. “We both have dark hair. We both have a cherub face. I don’t think we look alike, but I have heard it.” Kardashian, of course, has other concerns at the moment than what this Sister Wives cast member thinks. New reports claim Odom likes strippers ! This marriage is totally doomed.

Nicki Minaj Questions Motives Behind Grammy Snub

The Grammy Awards may feature many top acts on stage next Sunday, but the same can’t be said for the ceremony’s actual ballots. Justin Bieber is not nominated in any category. Neither is Carly Rae Jepsen. Or Nicki Minaj, for that matter. And the American Idol judge thinks she knows why… although she isn’t saying. “I think that the Grammys had a different reason, that I do not want to discuss … and that’s just between me and them,” Minaj said in a recent interview. “But I respect their organization and I’ll get a Grammy eventually. I’m not worried about it.” Minaj was nominated three times last year, including for Best New Artist and Best Rap Album. It’s unclear to what motive she is referring in the quote above, but Nicki insists she’s fine with this supposed snub: “I understand that artists and critics make a big deal over the Grammys. But when I go to my shows and I’m selling out arenas in London, and when I’m in Australia and Japan, there aren’t any Grammys there. There are human beings who I’ve touched. There are human beings who are inspired by me, who I love dearly. And that’s what my career is based on.”
