Justin Bieber: Who cares?

Part 2: Proof that the Canadian star is the most important person in cyberworld Having previously discussed his hair and nail polish, as well as an English comedian’s contempt (some might say jealousy) for  Bieber , maybe we should now take a look at his impact on society. Big seller: Bieber's hit single Baby If you’re still not convinced of Bieber’s massive impact, check out the recently lauded social networking index known as Klout . Yes, this San Francisco-based company has come up with some very complicated algorithms – using likes, tweets, pings, mentions on Google , LinkedIn connections, status updates and all that malarkey – to arrive at a number, 100, that tells us that Master Bieber has the greatest online influence. He’s way ahead of US president Barack Obama , the Dalai Lama and, amazingly, even the almost omnipotent Lady Gaga . I don’t pretend to understand the social media ranking system, but massive companies such as Disney and Virgin America have already taken note of Joe Fernandez’s website and used his services to identify the movers and shakers in social media. “Every lobbyist in Washington is coming to us for data. They want to know who is driving opinion,” said Fernandez. Well, Bieber definitely is. Not content with ruling the pop charts, he is quickly catching up with Lady Gaga as the most followed person on Twitter . He recently passed Britney Spears , too, to move into second spot behind the  Paparazzi singer. No hiding: Sorry, Johnny, we know you're a Bieber fan Surprisingly, you can add a very un-Hollywood star to the list of Bieber botherers. Star of The Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, Johnny Depp , was caught out at a recent Miami gig, even if he tried to keep a low profile. Bieber just couldn’t contain his excitement at having the Deppster at his concert, blurting: “Johnny Depp wants to hear  Baby .” I bet Mr Depp – who has contributed music to the movies Once Upon A Time In Mexico and Chocolat – was thrilled to bits at being outed as a Bieber boy. This revelation will do the overtly strange star’s reputation no good whatsoever. Johnny is better known for his passion for obscure artists such as Babybird , rather than diminutive stars – even refusing £5million for a spot in a Japanese soft-drink’s ad to get on stage with his favourites from Sheffield, England. Depp is supposedly working on a documentary about The Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards , so maybe in a few years we can expect a movie on his Bieberness? By the way, as I write this, Bieber ’s video for Baby has passed the 400million mark for views on YouTube . Laid back: Even Lady Gaga is struggling to compete with Bieber See, Bieber’s influence just keeps extending out into the world like a virulent disease. But it’s a sickness that millions can’t wait to catch. But, wait, the Bieber bug is already set to hit the big screen on St Valentine’s Day, when 3D tour movie Never Say Never is released. Is there anything left to do for this lad who doesn’t even turn 17 until March 1 of this year? However, not everything is going the way of the Eenie Meenie singer. Television musical hit series Glee has decided Bieber is not worthy of receiving a whole show based around his songs. Oh no, the rumours of his world domination are false. Kim Jong-il will be relieved. Maybe they can duet some day on If I Ruled The World . What do you think? Puppet movie Team America suggests the North Korean leader has a penchant for singing. I always trust Trey Parker and Matt Stone to provide the truth. But Ryan Murphy , the creator of Glee , reckons the theme episodes have to be reserved for “those artists with a big catalogue, a la Madonna and Britney , et cetera”. Fair enough. But even then, the wee crooner will still have one track included in an upcoming episode, so if he can pump out a few albums over the next few years, expect a Bie-Glee show. Part 3 tomorrow …

Michelle Williams Tit in Blue Valentine of the Day

Watching Michelle Williams get fucked in this movie Blue Valentine brings back really amazing memories of making fun of Jake Gyllenhaal’s sexual relationship with Heath Ledger to Jake Gyllenhaal’s face, before he had a rich bitch hissy fit that got me kicked out of the restaurant he was annoyingly crying for attention in…. Because I know that homo Gyllenhall hates this Michelle Williams bitch for stealing his man on the Brokeback set and getting knocked up with his baby that Jake’s only the godfather of, when he was meant to be the actual second father, before Michelle Williams got in the way of his dreams..leading to Heath Ledger’s drug overdose and Jake’s sexual confusion…..that cunt…that you can now see sex in a movie…. Here she is getting fucked…. Here are her shitty tits in the shower…. Here she is getting fucked and complaining…

Justin Bieber ‘Never Say Never’ Ad To Air During ‘Glee’ Super Bowl 2011 Episode

Who says that young girls don’t care about Super Bowl Sunday? This year there’s a big reason for tweens, teens and non-football fans to get in on the action. According to The Hollywood Reporter, a new spot for Justin Bieber’s “Never Say Never” 3-D flick will run during the super special post-Super Bowl episode of “Glee.” The 30-second commercial is set to air during the February 6 episode of the hit Fox comedy. The film opens one week later, on Valentine’s Day weekend. THR further reports that the ad will be shown during “Glee” and not the Super Bowl proper since the film’s target demographic is more likely to tune in to the musical TV show than the big game. This is not the first time Bieber has teamed up with a major sporting event to support a release. During Game 3 of last year’s World Series, the teen pop star debuted a mini-music video for the unplugged version of his song “Never Say Never” to promote his acoustic album, My Worlds Acoustic. Bieber’s flick isn’t the only movie taking advantage of the Super Bowl’s massive viewership. Several blockbusters will air commercials on Fox sometime during the evening, whether it’s preshow, during the game or, in Bieber’s case, postshow. It reportedly costs about $3 million for 30 seconds of airtime on the big night. Variety reports that the movies “Transformers: Dark of the Moon,” “Super 8,” “Thor,” “Captain America: The First Avenger,” “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides,” “Cowboys and Aliens,” “Priest,” “Kung Fu Panda 2,” “Just Go With It,” “Battle: Los Angeles,” “Limitless,” “Rango” and “The Eagle” all will have commercials broadcast during Super Bowl Sunday.

Paul Rudd Talks Crocs, Beards On ‘My Idiot Brother’ Set

‘I’m going to shave tomorrow,’ he tells MTV News of overgrown facial hair he grew for the film, which premieres at Sundance. By Eric Ditzian, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Paul Rudd on the set of “My Idiot Brother” Photo: MTV News We’ll be honest: When we caught up with Paul Rudd this summer, he kind of looked like a mess. A Unabomber-esque beard had sprouted from his face, ripped-up shorts hung low on his hips and a pair of bright-orange Crocs hugged his feet. “They suck,” he said of the footwear. “I don’t like ’em. They’re not good, despite the fact that they look so cool.” No, Rudd was not down on his luck. He was still in wardrobe on the final day of shooting for “My Idiot Brother,” an upcoming comedy in which Rudd stars as an idealistic organic farmer who apartment-hops among his three sisters’ pads, sowing happiness and havoc in his wake. “I immediately go to jail for selling marijuana to a uniformed police officer,” Rudd revealed of his character, Ned Rochlin. “However, the character is not dumb. The character just kind of appeals to everybody’s higher angels and thinks that if he throws goodness out there, it will in turn come back.” But it’s just that it’s-all-good-bro sensibility that ends up causing so much disruption in his sisters’ lives. To begin, he stays with a career-oriented, overachieving sister played by Elizabeth Banks. Then it’s on to a sister, played by Emily Mortimer, who lives in Park Slope and has just given birth to a child. Finally he ends up in a Williamsburg, Brooklyn, loft with a sister, played by Zooey Deschanel, and his sister’s lesbian lover. “We shot a lot of In Williamsburg,” Rudd laughed. “People couldn’t tell if I was a hipster or a Hassid.” Directed by Jesse Peretz, “My Idiot Brother” premieres at this year’s Sundance Film Festival , which kicks off Thursday in Park City, Utah. By then, Rudd will have ditched the Crocs and the happy-hippie beard. In fact, he was planning on a much-anticipated shave as soon as production wrapped hours after we bid him goodbye on set. “I’m going to shave tomorrow. I’ll do it in segments,” Rudd said. “You can never just shave a beard off. You have to do it piece by piece. Usually, the first thing I’ll go for is the James A. Garfield or the Zachary Taylor. Just the chin shave. Actually, I don’t know if Garfield had that. I’ll have to Google it.” Check out everything we’ve got on “My Idiot Brother.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com . Ryan Gosling Still ‘Processing’ Meeting Bruce Willis

At Golden Globes afterparty, MTV News pressed the ‘Blue Valentine’ star for details moments after his exchange with the action hero. By Kara Warner, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Bruce Willis and Ryan Gosling meet for the first time at the Weinstien Golden Globes afterparty Photo: MTV News One of the best things about covering awards-show red carpets — in addition to all of the glamorous fashion — is getting to watch all of the celebrity-on-celebrity interactions. A particularly exciting exchange went down at a Golden Globes afterparty hosted by the Weinsteins, where MTV News looked on as A-list actors Bruce Willis and Ryan Gosling met for the first time. We were lucky enough to chat with Gosling moments after the big introduction so, of course, we had to ask what he and Willis had discussed, whether the seasoned action star imparted any wisdom to Gosling and so forth. “I can’t talk about it,” Gosling quipped. Sensing that the “Blue Valentine” star was holding back but secretly wanted to share some exciting tidbit with us, we pressed further, asking whether he was able to secure a part in “Die Hard 5” during their brief conversation. “No comment,” Gosling responded with a smile. Fair enough. We ceased our probing and instead asked Gosling if it was in fact the first time he’d ever met the veteran actor. “[That was the] first time I ever met Bruce Willis,” Gosling confirmed. “I know, it’s nice. I haven’t had time to process it because I’m trying to talk about him. I don’t know how I feel about it.” In spite of making introductions with numerous photographers and TV crews present, Gosling said he thought the exchange, though short, went well. “I do feel good [about it],” he said. “I wanted it to be more private. In my mind, it wasn’t in front of all these people.” Check out everything we’ve got on “Blue Valentine.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com . Ryan Gosling Had ‘No Nerves’ Going Into The Golden Globes

‘We were in no danger of winning,’ the ‘Blue Valentine’ star tells MTV News of his Best Actor in a Drama loss. By Kara Warner, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Ryan Gosling Photo: David Livingston/ Getty Images The last few interactions MTV News has had with Ryan Gosling have been interesting, to say the least. Going back to January 2010, when we first had the opportunity to sit down with him and “Blue Valentine” co-star Michelle Williams, what should have been a serious conversation about a serious movie ended up introducing us to a new term: “cranking.” “It’s when you cry while you masturbate,” Gosling explained at the time. Now, ever since that fateful interview, it’s become a running joke, and we bring it up every time we encounter the Golden Globe-nominated actor. Case in point, the Weinstein Golden Globes afterparty, where we asked Gosling if he would be dealing with his loss in the Best Actor category to “King’s Speech” star Colin Firth by cranking. Gosling scoffed at that suggestion and insisted he has never cranked. “I never did crank,” he said. “I know you think that I did, but I didn’t.” Fair enough, Ryan. So in all seriousness, how did he handle the pressure of being nominated and then not winning? “We were in no danger of winning,” Gosling said. “So there were no nerves, no speeches to plan. Just [going] to have a nice night. I had a nice time — did you?” Gosling asked of “Valentine” writer/director Derek Cianfrance. “I had a very nice night, yes,” Cianfrance responded. “There was nice cucumber sandwiches on white bread. Little rectangles, finger sandwiches, I think. That was a good time.” “There was a menu,” Gosling added. “But no evidence of what was on that menu ever appeared.” We’ve got the Golden Globes covered!
