Source: seksan Mongkhonkhamsao / Getty Rodney King Jr. Charged With 10 Felonies Within 21 Minutes Crime isn’t exactly a talent, but it certainly appears to be a skill set based on this crazy a$$ story on Fox8 . 29-year-old Rodney Edward King Jr. has been indicted on 10 felonies and 2 misdemeanors in Franklin County, Ohio for terrorizing the community on August 6 between 9:54 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. says Prosecutor Ron O’Brien. “During a half-hour time span, this man went from one location to the next, within a one block radius, committing multiple felonies against seven different victims,” he said. The indictment alleges he robbed five random homes, attempted to enter a cab and threw a rock at the vehicle, causing damage. From there, he got on a bus, pulled out a screwdriver and swung it at the driver, hitting the driver in the foot, O’Brien said. Charges against King consist of aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery, felonious assault and aggravated menacing. If only Rodney put his super powers to use for good.

Source: Alexandra Krull / EyeEm / Getty Multiple outlets are reporting at least nine Philadelphia police officers were injured, six of whom were shot during what officials called “an active firefight” in the Nicetown neighborhood located in North Philadelphia on Wednesday. A seventh officer was also injured in a car accident while responding to the scene and at least one suspect is in custody. The alleged gunman, 34-year-old Maurice Hill , surrendered to police after releasing two officers who were hostages around 11:20 CST on Wednesday night. Hill has a history of drug-related offenses dating back to 2003. “The shooter fired multiple rounds. Officers returned fire – many of whom had to escape through windows and doors to get [away] from a barrage of bullets,” Philadelphia Police Commissioner Richard Ross said. All of the officers are expected to survive, according to officials.

Plus-size retailer Avenue announced it will close all of their stores, according to a press release via liquidation company Hilco Merchant Resources. This plus size store is a staple for size 14+ women looking for moderately priced, everyday work clothing, dresses, bras, and more. Avenue has 222 stores located in 33 states within the U.S. The store was founded in 1987 and is headquartered in New Rochelle, New Jersey. In 2007, the company was purchased by Redcats USA (who is part of the Kering company). In 2012, the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and was purchased by Versa Capital Management. Now, the company is liquidating all of their locations. What does this mean for you and their plus-size customers? It’s time to shop! According to Colin Kaepernick ‘s camp, that may be the case. After news broke on Wednesday that Hov signed a new partnership with the NFL , folks automatically assumed that the rap mogul was undercutting Colin Kaepernick’s kneeling protest. However, Jay discredited the claims during a meeting with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell at Roc Nation’s NYC offices, saying: “There’s two parts of protest: the protest, and then there’s a company or individual saying ‘I hear you, what do we do next?’ For me it’s about actionable items, what are we gonna do about it?” Both Jay and Goodell also claimed to have spoken to Kap before inking the deal to help the NFL with entertainment and social justice issues. But according to Kaepernick’s attorney, Mark Geragos, the rap mogul did not talk to the former NFL prior to signing the deal. We probably don’t need to tell you that the Kardashian-Jenner clan is not your typical family. For example, most moms probably wouldn’t be too thrilled with a guy who got their daughter pregnant three times, refused to marry her, cheated on her repeatedly, and is now dating a woman literally half her age. But for reasons that aren’t entirely clear, Kris Jenner is still a big fan of Scott Disick. In fact, she’s so tight with former pseudo-son-in-law that Kris and Scott produced a reality show together . Unfortunately, Sunday night’s season premiere of Flip It Like Disick wasn’t exactly a smash hit. It’s almost like there’s already 47,000 house-flipping shows on basic cable; TV audiences are pretty much over the Kardashians, and they especially don’t care about Scott now that he’s no longer with Kourtney. Weird. Anyway, it’s a testament to Kris’ clout at E! that she was able to get execs to bankroll such an obviously ill-fated project. And it’s a testament to her work ethic that she’s still trying to figure out a way to get it picked up for a second season. Kris has been in this game a long time, and she likely knew from the start that viewers would be tuning in more to check in on Scott’s personal life than to see if he’ll be able to turn a profit in the real estate game. And so, her answer to the show’s dismal ratings is to drum up some interest in Scott’s relationship with Sofia Richie. Scott and Sofia have been dating for almost two years, which is more than a little gross, considering she’s 20 and he’s 36. Anyway, despite her youth, Disick and Richie are reportedly considering marriage, and apparently, Kris is pushing him to act now, so as to score some free advertising for Flip It . “Kris is trying to push Scott to propose so that they can capture it on camera, and he is not having any of it,” a source close to the situation tells Radar Online. Yes, its seems that Kris sees this as a “two birds with one stone” situation, but Scott’s not sharing her somewhat cynical perspective: “He wants to do this under his terms, and everyone is getting really impatient,” says the source. “Scott loves Sofia, this is obvious, but he refuses to be forced into anything.” And it seems Disick might be feeling the pressure from more than one source: “Sofia is getting very impatient,” says a different source. “She has been trying to remain confident that he will want to marry her, but her hope is starting to dwindle.” We can understand why Scott would be reluctant to propose, but he has no one but himself to blame for this situation. There are two old adages that one should always keep in mind: 1. Don’t date a teenager and expect them not to act impulsively, and 2. Don’t launch a business venture with Kris Jenner and not expect to give up your right to any sort of personal privacy. Words to live by.
