Stock Image by Getty White Airbnb Guest Sh*ts On Hosts Bed And Gets Sympathy Oh hell naw! There is a story circulating around Twitter from Black woman and writer who had a terribly disgusting experience with an Airbnb guest. The poor lady say she went through all the checks and stops to make sure her guests weren’t crazy but after a few years of using the app one recently slipped through the cracks and POOPED in her room. After coming home from a flight and realizing her usually closed bedroom door was ajar, Blue Telusma wrote that she discovered human feces in a chair and more dabbled on her things inside her bedroom. Her Airbnb guest, who stayed all the way in the BASEMENT admitted to “blacking out” and sh*tting on her stuff. After contacting Airbnb to have the man removed, Telusma says she was encouraged to wait it out. She waited and waited until she noticed a police officer nearby her house and let him know what was happening. The cop was also useless and let the poop perpetrator stay. WTF?!!? Update: when the new police arrived my @Airbnb guest played the victim & almost shed some tears. “What he did is nasty but not illegal” the cop said while sympathizing w/ the young white man. UNTIL I reminded them both that shitting all over someone’s home is defacing property — ☼Blue-nita Applebum (@bluecentric) November 2, 2018 White tears are something else! Eventually, the hostess got the nasty dude out of her crib after Airbnb removed her to a hotel and redirected him to another place nearby. You can r ead her full horror story here in her own words. What would YOU have done if you were in this situation???
JOHN MACDOUGALL/AFP/Getty Images A Former L’Oréal Executive Is Suing The Company For Discrimination And Other Issues A former marketing executive at L’Oréal is now trying to expose the alleged ugly side of the beauty brand in a new lawsuit. The employee, Amanda Johnson, is suing the cosmetics giant for discrimination along with claiming she endured a toxic work environment while employed with the company. Johnson claims that she was fired by phone after being promoted to assistant VP of digital marketing. She also says her boss Dan Bethelmy Rada would have “all-night benders and hotel parties . . . for which Rada expected Johnson to enlist ‘recruits,’ ” the suit explains, which was filed in New York federal court. Johnson is claiming that she witnessed a male executive watching porn during a business meeting, as well as sex-fueled parties at luxury European hotels during work trips, along with rampant racist hostility from management. The complaint also states that Johnson felt physically threatened by a fellow VP, Nicolas Krafft–she claims that she was fired after submitting an internal complaint to Rada. A L’Oréal spokesperson refuted the claims, calling them “baseless.” They told Page Six the following: “Amanda Johnson was fired for a pattern of unprofessional conduct that surfaced during her final months at the company, including what in our view was abusive and threatening behavior toward colleagues, serious lapses in judgment, and declining performance.” The rep added, “After she was let go, Ms. Johnson raised some alarming allegations about her manager and certain co-workers through a lawyer. We took her allegations seriously and investigated them all with great care, as they had not been reported to [HR] when she was with the company.” Johnson’s lawyers quickly fired back at this denial, saying, “L’Oréal’s public response to Ms. Johnson’s complaint shows that the company holds underrepresented minorities to a different standard in all respects. L’Oréal again has wrongfully tried to discredit and punish the victim, an African-American woman, by choosing to accept a false version of events as told by a few white employees on its payroll. L’Oréal’s so-called ‘investigation’ conducted ‘with great care’ did not even include asking Ms. Johnson for her side of the story.”
Photos by Steven Ferdman/WireImage Cardi B Responds To Nicki Minaj’s Queen Radio Read It looks like Cardi B had a free day in her booked and busy schedule to take a quick listen to Queen Radio, and she got an earful of everything Nicki had to say about their little red carpet scuffle during fashion week. First off, Cardi claims there are way too many “footages” out there of what really went down for Nicki to be pulling this tidbit about Rah beating her senseless out of her azz NOW. Also, she chides her rival rapper for claiming to be so gutter and ready for whatever, yet refusing to knuckle up when it came down to it and playing the victim after the fact. “You need to pick a side. Do you wanna be the victim or do you wanna be a gangster? You lie so much you can’t even keep up with your f*ckin lies. I know what there IS footage of, you up against the wall saying ‘I’m standing right here!’ Miss Chun-Li the Streetfighter. Get the f*ck out of here.” Oh, but it didn’t stop there. Cardi kicked back on the couch and debunked or addressed every sideways thing that’s slipped Nicki’s lips about her since the ball dropped on 2018. Hit the flip to catch Cardi going in on the “Motorsport” kerfuffle, Nicki saying she’s using “sympathy and payola” to jump start her career, leaked phone numbers, alleged bag-stopping, the whole nine… Sheesh. We’re starting to understand that shoe-throwing a bit more… Jackson Lee / SplashNews.com/Nancy Rivera/Bauer-Griffin/GC Images/Steven Ferdman/WireImage/Instagram
The continuing adventures of Florida Man have taken a grim turn. A vengeful ex-lover went to great lengths to find the new boyfriend of his ex-girlfriend. He hit the man over the head with a tire iron, carved his initials into the man’s leg, and then cut off the man’s penis . The Chicago Tribute reports that, on a judge’s orders, Florida man Justin Foster is being held on $1 million bond. Foster is a Tallahassee resident, but he made the trek to Atlanta before flying to Chicago. In Chicago, he rented a car and drove to Des Plaines. It was in Des Plaines that the alleged crime went down. Foster apparently approached the 26-year-old boyfriend of his former lover before the violence began. According to police, after Foster approached the victim, he struck him over the head with a tire iron. The victim was then rendered unconscious, but Foster was allegedly just getting started. He is said to have then carved initials — which initials are unclear, but many have assumed that they were his own — into the victim’s leg. Foster then allegedly cut off the man’s penis. Every single part of that is horrifying. According to detectives, Foster then tossed the penis over a fence. The victim was then dragged behind a parked car. It is there that Foster allegedly left the victim in a growing pool of his own blood. The victim was found by someone who was passing by. Emergency services were contacted and he was rushed to the emergency room. In the mean time, Foster boarded a flight back to Atlanta. Foster was arrested on August 27. He was extradited back to Illinois in September. He has been charged with attempted murder, which is appropriate since his assault could have easily claimed the victim’s life. There was more to it than the horrific mutilation. The victim received permanent brain damage from the tire iron blow to the head. Whacking someone over the head with a heavy object isn’t like what you see on television, folks. Hitting someone hard enough to knock them out means hitting someone hard enough to damage them or even to kill them. This is a truly gruesome case on every level. Based upon what we know, it appears that the sole motive was that the victim was dating Justin Foster’s ex-girlfriend. This goes above and beyond most of the horror stories about jealous exes that we’ve ever heard. It sounds like Justin Foster may be the worst incarnation of Florida Man. For now, anyway. … View Slideshow: Florida Man: 21 Ways in Which He Actually Got Arrested
Last month, fans were stunned by the news that Justin Bieber and Hailie Baldwin had gotten married in a small, private ceremony in New York City. Just weeks later, Justin’s most famous ex, Selena Gomez, suffered an emotional breakdown that resulted in her hospitalization. Fans unfairly blamed Baldwin for Gomez’s breakdown , and while such criticisms are patently absurd, the timing of the two headline-making events makes it difficult to argue that there’s no correlation. Now, sources close to Gomez are confirming that Bieber’s abrupt engagement and marriage did play a role in her fragile mental state — but that’s not the whole story. “Selena can be a delicate flower, especially because she has had constant medical struggles, but Justin’s engagement and quick marriage threw her off guard and hit her hard,” one insider tells People magazine. “She and Justin have been on and off for years, although they were so young when it all began,” the source adds. “Justin was her first big love, and she isn’t over him.” Fortunately, the insider confirms that Selena’s condition is improving, and she’s fully committed to the hard work of recovery. “Selena is feeling better,” the source tells People . “She is getting the help she needs.” As for Justin, he’s said to be having a tremendously difficult time and is deeply concerned with his ex’s well-being. “This was his first great love, and while he was young and traveling around the world as a superstar, he learned a great deal from her,” one insider says. “He was extremely upset over what has happened to Selena,” adds the source, who People identifies as a figure in the Miami music scene. “He feels like she is part of his life and he wants her to be happy and healthy.” Asked if Selena’s issues could have a negative impact on Bieber and Baldwin’s relationship, the insider admitted: “It could be a problem down the road.” Just when you thought the Justin-Selena drama had permanently come to an end. We guess these two will remain inextricably linked in the minds of fans until the end of time.
After Kanye West’s bizarre Oval Office visit in which he doubled down on his support for Donald Trump, his former fans are scratching their heads. But a former Scandal actor believes that he can explain Kanye’s strange behavior. Columbus Short accuses Kim Kardashian of using witchcraft to torment and control her husband. Disgraced former Scandal actor Columbus Short took to social media, sharing an image in which Kim smiles for the camera while Kanye stares into the distant. “I post this picture for one reason and one reason only,” Columbus writes. He then writes that his purpose is “to expose witchcraft.” Yes, you read that correctly. No, this is not an early Halloween prank. “This,” Columbus claims. “Is what it looks like.” We guess that about half the students in any early morning math class anyone’s ever taken are also under the thrall of witches, then. “Its [sic] a unaddressed issue but real and present right now,” Columbus continues. He goes on to claim that: “Both men and women all over the WORLD are unknowingly being tormented by witchcraft.” “And this,” he says. “Is what it looks like.” “You can call me crazy,” he very correctly states. “But I suggest you guys do your research.” Obviously, no amount of actual research is going to validate his claims. There are plenty of people whose personal spiritual practices can be described as witchcraft. They come from a number of faiths or may not subscribe to any religion. But they are very much not mind-controlling anyone, least of all Kanye West. Some might say that a little mind-control would do Kanye some good right about now. Easily the best thing about Columbus’ witchcraft theory is the replies. Sure, some of them are people agreeing with him and warning that they fear for his life since he’s “exposing” this “truth.” One person tweeted: “You Already Know What’s going on in The Devil Illuminati Industry,” which is one hell of a sentence. Others are arguing with him … saying that it’s not witchcraft mind-control, but MK Ultra mind-control . Social media is amazing. This is a little like when Flat Earth “Theorists” start espousing their views, only to get arguments from Hollow Earth theorists . To the rest of us, one theory seems about the same as the other. But that’s because two concepts, each equally divorced from reality, seem equally absurd. To those who really believe them, however, it makes all of the difference in the world. It seems that Columbus really, truly believes that Kim has hexxed Kanye. On a more serious note, Columbus referring to “torment” by “witchcraft” brings to mind his arrest warrant from just last month. The warrant was issued in September after he failed to appear in court for a divorce proceeding. His divorce from Tuere Tanee Short began all the way back in 2014, around the time of his arrest for domestic violence . She filed for divorce after he threatened to kill her and himself, and she was granted a temporary restraining order at the time. He has also been accused of other acts of violence, including violence against another woman’s child and threatening to kill Jamie Foxx for some reason. It is unclear if he believes that his life setbacks are the results of sabotage by witchcraft. They are clearly his own fault. Kanye’s behavior has been worrisome to a lot of his fans, and people seem desperate for an explanation. Some think that Kim is just not good for him. Others choose to blame mental illness, as if there aren’t millions of people with mental illness who manage to not be terrible. Now, an accused domestic abuser thinks that Kanye is under a witch’s mind-control. When, we wonder, are people going to stop making excuses that turn Kanye into the victim. Maybe Kanye West is just … bad. And maybe he has been bad all along, and people can no longer find easy excuses to ignore it. Jenna Cooper and Jordan Kimball’s Bachelor in Paradise cheating scandal didn’t end when they broke up. While Jenna has fired back, saying that she’s a victim of fraud, Jordan has all but accused her of blackmailing him through her attorneys. Now, she is hitting back even harder, and accusing Jordan of having faked the text messages for publicity’s sake. Over the weekend, Us Weekly spoke to Jordan Kimball about this entire situation. “It is what it is,” the model states simply. When it comes to the emails he shared that he clearly viewed as a blackmail attempt , he says: “I said nothing about it.” “The email was sent to me,” Jordan explains. “I got phone calls from the firm.” “It was an attorney representing her,” Jordan says, who told him to publicly exonerate Jenna or the firm would go public with what they know. Jordan says that he’s heard from her attorneys, but that’s about as personal as it gets these days. “I’ve heard nothing back” from Jenna, Jordan says. “And her family stopped — I guess you could say bashing me online.” “They have said nothing,” he says. “She has said nothing. It’s behind us.” “I no longer feel I need to defend myself,” Jordan claims. “It is what it is.” But … is it? Because Jenna released some evidence for the entire world to see. When other Bachelor ladies rallied to Jenna’s defense , Lauren Burnham assured the world that she’d seen proof that Jenna wasn’t a cheater. It’s not that people realistically believe that Reality Steve fabricated text messages out of thin air. Instead, people believe that someone close to Jenna, someone who knew her texting style and phone number, faked them and sent them to him. And Jenna’s electronic devices got a clean bill of health — with an examination that proves she never cheated . “A comprehensive forensic examination of Jenna’s devices by an independent third-party expert, Jenna’s publicist Steve Honig begins. Honig continues: “has definitively confirmed none of the text messages in question came from Jenna’s phone.” “Given the conclusive findings of the forensic report,” Honig says. “Jenna’s team is considering all options available to Jenna relating to the fraudulent texts.” Jenna’s publicist’s statement continues, and begins to paint a troubling picture of her former love. “After the cameras stopped rolling, Jordan’s demeanor toward Jenna changed dramatically,” Honig reveals. “He let it be known there was only room for one celebrity in the relationship,” Honig says. Jordan reportedly made it clear that “he was more successful and famous than her, she would never make as much money as him or amount to anything in life.” “She was belittled and made to feel insignificant and worthless,” Honig says. “He continues to disparage her to this day.” “As painful as this has been for Jenna,” Honig concludes. “She is glad he showed his true colors before they were married and began building a life together.” Protus3 is a Raleigh-based security service to which Jenna turned to prove her innocense. They examined her iPhone, iPad, and iCloud storage. “An analysis of the messages and data ranging from June 11, 2017, through September 18, 2018, on all devices,” the Protus3 report says. The report continues, revealing that the test “did not reveal any of the text messages alleged to be created by Ms. Cooper.” As we mentioned, the analysis would have turned up any messages, even deleted ones, that she sent on any of her devices. Protus3’s analysis also showed that certain keywords showed up in Jenna’s messages to Jordan and in the allegedly fabricated texts that make her look like a cheater. Protus3 just reports as a third party on the contents of the examination, but Jenna’s attorneys have made their theory clear. They believe that Jordan faked the texts and then sent them to Reality Steve with enough details about Jenna to make the texts look authentic. But, as Protus3 notes, screenshots — no matter their source — cannot be authenticated with the level of certainty that comes with screening a device. It’s not clear what they believe was Jordan’s motive. Was he allegedly trying to milk the Bachelor Nation for sympathy that could carry him forward in his reality career? Was he just trying to end their relationship without appearing to the public as “the bad guy?” Or is Jordan just another victim in all of this, and the texts were fabricated by someone else? A ll three of the nation’s Black senators won a victory Thursday in the ongoing battle to criminalize lynching -related offenses for the first time in American history. The Senate Judiciary Committee unanimously voted to advance the Justice for Victims Of Lynching Act of 2018, a bipartisan bill introduced by Senators Kamala Harris , Cory Booker and Tim Scott . RELATED: The New Lynching Memorial Remembers Black Women Who Were Also Killed By Lynch Mobs Harris and Booker, who announced the bill in June, took the opportunity to speak about their mission to stop hateful acts of violence. “Lynching is a dark and despicable part of our country’s history,” Harris (D-CA) said in a press release from her office. “These were acts of violence, needless and horrendous acts of violence that were motivated by racism. And we must acknowledge that, lest we repeat it. These were crimes that were committed against innocent people. These are crimes that should have been prosecuted. There are victims and their families that should have received justice and did not. With this bill, we have a chance to speak the truth about our past make clear that these hateful acts should never happen again.” Senate Committee to Take Up Election Interference, Anti-Lynching Bills https://t.co/pHMX0yB3w5 pic.twitter.com/BjoafEahrj — Countable (@countable) October 11, 2018 “After more than a hundred years of failed efforts, we are now one step closer to finally making lynching a federal crime and putting an end to a long period of Congressional inaction and indifference,” Booker (D-NJ) said. “This bipartisan legislation is a painful – but necessary – acknowledgement [sic] of our nation’s horrific past, stained with the terror of racialized violence committed with near impunity. It sends a very clear signal that we as a nation will not tolerate bias-motivated violence in any form.” Scott also offered words about what he feels the bill means for the nation. “This is an important, long overdue bill that sends a strong message that we will not allow those who spew hate to divide us as a nation,” the Republican senator from South Carolina said. Before the bill, Congress had failed time and time again to pass anti-lynching legislation. There were 200 failed attempts from 1882 to 1986, according to the release. Lynching has long been a tool of terror that has targeted African Americans and led to countless deaths fueled by racist hate. In examining the painful history surrounding lynching, Booker, Harris and Scott, along with the NAACP and other civil rights organizations, hope the bill is a knock-out punch against the horrifying act. S imilar to 1989’s “Do the Right Thing” or 2009’s “Fruitvale Station,” “The Hate U Give” is the kind of movie that comes along once every few years. Relevant and haunting, the George Tillman Jr.-directed film powerfully speaks to our country’s cultural war from an unapologetically Black perspective. If you are a Black or brown person in America, it’s nearly impossible to not relate to at least one of the characters in the film. Moreover, this is a movie every American should watch, but it’s especially one every young person should see. SEE ALSO: Texas Cop Shoots Unarmed Black Man For Entering His Own Truck Amandla Stenberg has been a working actress in Hollywood for years, but “The Hate U Give” is the 19-year-old’s breakthrough, Oscar-worthy role. She delivers a stellar performance as Starr Carter, a teenage girl who navigates two worlds, her white private school and the Black neighborhood where she lives. Based on the novel of the same name by Angie Thomas and adapted to screen by Tina Mabry and Audrey Well , the film flawlessly tackles the implicit and explicit struggles of white spaces, perfectly setting up the moment that will change Starr’s life. Khalil, played by up-and-coming actor Algee Smith , a lifelong friend, is shot and killed by a police officer. This gut-wrenching, graphic and triggering scene is a punch in the gut with Khalil symbolizing countless other Black men, women and children. While this is a story many of us know well and have seen play it out in media— as we are witnessing right now with LaQuan McDonald in Chicago —it’s haunting to watch each moment play out on screen, from the media’s depictions of the victim’s neighborhood to blaming the victim who cannot defend himself to insincere white, liberal protests to interactions with cops and Black communities. As each frame passes, it’s nearly impossible to not get emotional as you think of Philando Castile , Tamir Rice , Botham Jean , Antown Rose , Walter Scott , Michael Brown and so many others. “The Hate U Give” is cathartic, a release in this trauma-inducing 24 hours news cycle of Black people killed by police with no justice. The film includes an all-star cast of Regina Hall as Starr’s mother, Common as Starr’s uncle who is also a police officer, Issa Rae as an activist and lawyer and Russell Hornsby as Starr’s father. There is also a flock of new actors, completing a powerful cast. Directed by George Tillman Jr. , known most for the “Barbershop” franchise, “The Hate U Give” is not just a movie, it captures a moment in our history, turning the mirror on ourselves and asking if this is the country we want to be. Reminding you that you or someone you love could be the next hashtag. The film is released with the crucial midterm election just next month. After watching, hopefully people will be inspired to vote ( register here ) to stop the hate that is currently being given to us every day by the Trump administration. “The Hate U Give” opens in select cities today and nationwide on Oct. 19. Unarmed Man Paralyzed By Police Wants Charges Dropped A black man who was unarmed when a police officer shot and injured him causing paralysis wants all charges dropped against him. Edward Brown of Phoneix, Arizona says he was racially profiled and the victim of brutality after he was shot in the back. According to ABC 15, on August 5 police responded to a suspicious call about “possible drug activity” in an alley and Brown ran away because of a felony warrant. A chase ensued and an officer claims that he caught Brown trying to hop a fence before he began to walk towards him and then “charged at him.” The officer alleges that Brown made a “swipe for his gun to grab it,” and claims he “felt the tip of his gun get grazed.” Brown says, however, that’s untrue and is using the bullet that was lodged into his back as proof. “If Edward had been trying to take a gun away from the police officer, as has been alleged, as it has come from the police department, he would’ve been shot in the front, not in the back,” said Brown’s lawyer. When Brown was questioned by police at the hospital, he said his back was toward the officer. His family has since launched a GoFundMe to help with legal fees as he fights the case and sues the department. Click HERE to see it.
