Say It Like You Mean It: 50 Cent Goes In On Wendy Williams

More:

Source: Mark Sagliocco / Getty Wendy Williams was the target of 50 Cent ‘s latest online attack after she made comments about him on her show. Anyone that watches The Wendy Williams Show knows that she will say it like she means it, and that has gotten her in some hot water lately. This week, she criticized 50 for blasting his son, Marquise Jackson , on Instagram. She later asked her fans on Instagram what they think of 50’s apology for the spat between him and his son. As we know, 50 Cent has never been one to avoid confrontation. Keeping that in mind, it should come as no surprise that he immeadiately fired back at Wendy in two separate posts. Being that 50 never misses an opportunity to be petty, he commented on rumors that Wendy’s husband has been carrying on a long-standing affair. And 50 wasn’t done there. After commenting on her husband’s reported infidelity, he took a shot at her looks. Wendy has yet to respond, and we’re waiting to see if she claps back. Nelly: I’m Innocent, I Swear I Never Raped Anyone!

Time has not been kind to Nelly. And, if we’re to believe recent accusations against him, Nelly has not been kind to others in return. Early yesterday morning, he was arrested for allegedly raping a woman on his tour bus . He’s currently on tour with Florida Georgia Line, and the arrest happened a few hours after a show in Washington on Friday night. According to a statement from local police, a woman called 911 at nearly 4:00 AM and reported that Nelly had sexually assaulted her. After officers arrived on the scene and did some investigating, there was apparently enough evidence to make an arrest, and Nelly was taken into custody. There wasn’t enough evidence to hold him though, and a few hours later he was released. His lawyer then made a statement saying that “Nelly is the victim of a completely fabricated allegation.” “Our initial investigation,” he explained, “clearly establishes the allegation is devoid of credibility and is motivated by greed and vindictiveness.” “I am confident, once the scurrilous accusation is thoroughly investigated, there will be no charges.” The lawyer added that “Nelly is prepared to pursue all legal avenues to redress any damage caused by this clearly false allegation.” So far it’s obviously a pretty serious case of he-said, she-said, right? But now Nelly is speaking on his own behalf. Shortly after the news broke of his arrest, he hopped on Twitter to defend himself. “Let me say that I am beyond shocked that I have been targeted with this false allegation,” he began. “I am completely innocent.” “I am confident that once the facts are looked at, it will be very clear that I am the victim of a false allegation.” “I do want to apologize to my loved ones for the embarrassment and for putting myself in a situation where I could be victimized by this false and defaming allegation,” he wrote. Nelly also thought it was important “to thank my fans for their unwavering support.” “They know me,” he said. “I assure you I will be vindicated. And I assure you, I will pursue every legal option to address this defaming claim.” “Thank you.” And just in case you didn’t follow that statement his lawyer wrote for him, he added “In other words y’all know damm well I ain’t do no dumm S^*t like this..!! Love ..!!!!” About an hour after making those tweets, he logged back on to clear up an extra bit of confusion. “To be absolutely clear,” he wrote, “I have not been charged with a crime therefore no bail was required. I was released, pending further investigation.” At this point, it’s hard to say who’s telling the truth. Nelly and his team could be right, this woman could have made up this whole story. But then again, Nelly could be doing his best to cover up his crimes — let’s be real, it’s not exactly unprecedented for a celebrity to use his fame as a way to prey on women like this. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see how this plays out. View Slideshow: 21 Most Memorable Celebrity Mug Shots of All-Time

Iceland’s Government In Shambles After Prime Minister’s Father Tries To Clear Pedophile’s Name

OLIVIER MORIN/AFP/Getty Images Prime Minister’s Father Tries To Help Convicted Pedophile According to reports, Iceland’s government was in falling apart on Friday after a coalition party quit because the prime minister’s father tried to clear a pedophile’s name. The centrist Bright Future Party said in a Facebook post that there was “a serious breach of trust,” causing their withdrawal. Prime Minister Bjarni Benediktsson took office in January with his Independence Party, the Reform Party and the centrists. Benediktsson’s father, Benedikt Sveinsson, reportedly helped a convicted child molester apply for a clause in the country’s judicial system that allows those who’ve served sentences for serious crimes to “restore their honor.” The criminal in question is Hjalti Sigurjon Hauksson, who in 2004 was convicted of raping his stepdaughter almost every day for 12 years, and sentenced to five years in jail. Sveinsson made a statement claiming he didn’t know his actions would do anything beside helping a convicted felon get back on their feet. He said, “what was supposed to be a small gesture of good will towards a convicted criminal has instead turned into a continuation of the tragedy for the victim. For this I again apologize.”

NeNe Leakes Faces Off With Porsha Williams’s Fans

Originally posted here:

Source: Gabriel Olsen / Getty NeNe Leakes is not playing with Porsha Williams ‘ fans, and she’s making sure they know that. The Real Housewives of Atlanta OG got into it with some of Porsha’s followers after posting a pic her having a good cackle with Marlo Hampton and Cynthia Bailey . She wrote in the caption, “When @marlohampton invites you to her Hampton’s Tea Party, you betta know it’s gonna be fabulous! The tea was poured, the victim will always play the victim, will always be defensive and will NEVER take accountability.” NeNe didn’t specifically mention Porsha, but Urban Belle reports that her fans caught the shade. Sensing that their fave had been royally tried, they addressed NeNe’s dig. “But why do you have a problem with Porsha,” A user named @lady_pixie asked. “Clearly you’ve had fallen [sic] outs with all the girls and as I recall at one time you lived for Porsha.” She went on to accuse, “You used her just like Phaedra did when your friendship with Cynthia was on the rocks, just as Phaedra did when her and Kandi fell out. But clearly your [sic] just being petty.” Before @lady_pixie could get it any more twisted, NeNe clapped back. “You have no idea what your [sic] talking abt. I’ve never used Porsha and she has never helped me with anything,” she replied. “The questions is, has she used me and if I have helped her? Now crawl back into your corner.” Obviously, NeNe was not backing down, but when has she ever? Those are some interesting questions to pose. Sounds like viewers better get their kettles and tea cups ready for RHOA season 10 because it’s shaping up to be a good one! Taylor Swift Just Crossed the Beyhive. Find Out How.

In her brand new song,  Taylor Swift takes aim at famous rivals such as Kim Kardashian, Kanye West and Katy Perry. But it’s a different A-Lister who now has a beef with the artist. Or, perhaps we should more accurately say, it’s a different artist’s fan base. On Friday afternoon, Swift unveiled a music video teaser for “Look at What You Made Me Do,” two days ahead of when the full video will premiere at the MTV Video Music Awards. You can check it out HERE . It doesn’t reveal very much. But it has revealed enough to severely anger the Beyhive, the loyal group of Beyonce fans who worship at the feet of the world’s most popular solo singer… … and who have now set their sights on Swift. Taylor Swift – “Look at What You Made Me Do” In one frame from her video teaser, Swift is dressed in a black leotard and fishnet tights while leading a group of male dancers who are all rocking similar looks. The footage appears to be set in an ornate ballroom. Critics, meanwhile, are pointing to  Beyonce’s Lemonade visual album as a comparison. In the video for the Beyonce track “Sorry,” the superstar and Serena Williams dance in the halls of a lavish Louisiana plantation… while wearing – you guessed it! – black leotards. Queen Bey also donned the look with a contingent of similarly dressed backup dancers during her performance of “Formation” at Super Bowl 50. One fan tweeted side-by-side screen shots of Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” teaser and video from Lemonade, captioning it “Lemonade and Minute Maid.” Ouch. That’s harsh. But is it fair? Added Beyonce fan added: “Taylor Swift wanna be Beyoncé so bad.” Taylor has received A LOT backlash for this new single, which many Internet users believe to be petty and simply not very catchy. It also has a very dark tone. Others, meanwhile, thought back to Swift’s infamous feud with Kardashian and West and accused the singer of “playing the victim.” This is a charge Swift has faced for years, having often sang about being wronged by ex-boyfriends in some way, shape or form. This is different, though. This is Taylor Swift daring to cross the Beyhive. We’d be a tad frightened if we were her. Are these criticisms justified? Do you think Swift really did copy Beyonce? Or is this just a coincidence? And it Swift receiving an unfair rap? Sound off below and also answer this question: Are you excited for her new album? Vermont Teen Charged With Spray-Painting “Dumb Ni**er” On High School Football Field

Recent South Burlington High School Grad Arrested For Spraypainting Racial Slur A recent South Burlington HS graduate is facing felony unlawful mischief charges for spray-painting a racial slur on the school’s AstroTurf field. 18-year-old Tyler Austin was identified as the suspect during a news conference Friday, according to the Burlington Free Press : “I hope that this will send a message, as have other actions we’ve taken in this community, that we take these things really seriously. Our entire community is offended by this type of behavior. It’s not acceptable,” Chief Trevor Whipple said at a news conference. Whipple chose not to speak on the exact slur that was painted and who it may have been directed at, saying, “”It’s my feeling that to repeat them, re-inflicts harm on someone and I choose not to do that.” Whipple also explained why the incident was not considered a hate crime. “Clearly the law was written to apply to an individual, a crime against a person, and in this case we have a crime against an object, that being the field, and the victim being the school district,” Whipple said. Racist graffiti found on South Burlington sports field https://t.co/BVBaYypINM pic.twitter.com/WhGoJYwIMh — MyNBC5 (WPTZ) (@MyNBC5) June 7, 2017 News of the incident broke last month on June 6, when the South Burlington Police Department received a complaint of vandalism regarding the graffiti in a field behind the high school and middle school during a school budget revote. While Whipple wouldn’t speculate about the motive for the slur, Seven Days VT reported that another 2017 graduate, Isaiah Hines was the target of the graffiti because he successfully led the push to change the school’s “Rebels” nickname. Seven Days profiled Isaiah Hines last month, highlighting his campaign to drop the “Rebels” team name from South Burlington High School. “I was horrified. Horrified,” his mother, Krishna Hines, said after hearing about the graffiti. “When the school called me to tell me what was written, I was in tears.” Hines says that despite graduating with Austin, he wasn’t familiar with the suspect at all. “I don’ t know him at all,” Hines said. “I never really had any sort of interaction with him.” Whipple also told the media that the investigation is still open and the prosecution has the option to add more charges after reviewing the findings. Austin has been issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court Criminal Division on Thursday, Aug. 24.

Blac Chyna: Don’t Let Revenge Porn Happen to You!

Ever since Rob Kardashian’s social media tantrum against Blac Chyna in the sort of out-of-control early morning rant that we usually associate with a man much older and more orange, Blac Chyna’s been getting a lot of attention. Surprisingly, she’s been pretty selective about how much she’s spoken to the public, but she does do interviews from time to time. In her new interview, she’s trying to focus  Blac Chyna has spoken about this before, first breaking her silence on Good Morning America after her nudes were distributed without her consent. Now Blac Chyna sits down with People and speaks about moving forward from the Rob Kardashian scandal . First, she speaks about moving forward. “I’m not going to take something that happened to me in the past into my future.” Good luck with that. Like, that’s the dream that everybody who’s been through a bad situation has. But it’s not always possible. The specter of this will follow her for a long time, unfortunately. (Though we suspect that she’ll make the best of it) “First and foremost, I’m going to make myself happy because once I’m happy, then Dream can be happy and then King can be happy and then everybody else around me can be happy.” It is good that she’s talking about her kids, King Cairo and Dream, who are both super adorable. Blac Chyna says that she and Rob broke up in late 2016, so they’ve been coparenting for a long time. Amazingly, Blac Chyna still wants to coparent with Rob , as if he would be a good influence on Dream! But some people hold onto the idea that kids need both parents. Blac Chyna also addresses the lingering topic of revenge porn. (As we’ve mentioned, Rob Kardashian could face revenge porn charges — though Blac Chyna may want to work out an out-of-court deal) “Words are words, but once you start posting actual pictures, then that’s just not right. It’s actually against the law.” She’s absolutely right in that revenge porn photos are illegal. But we shouldn’t dismiss words, especially from celebrities over social media. Words have a lot of power, too, and can do a massive amount of harm. She then goes into something that we’ve all talked about before — that the issue here isn’t nudity, but a lack of consent. “If I [were] to go and do a very artsy, high-end photo shoot exposing my breasts, that’s my choice. This is my body. It’s my right.” She’s absolutely right. Revenge porn would be still be illegal even if she were a porn star, folks. Just like how deciding to spend or donate money doesn’t make it okay for someone to steal from you. It’s not complicated. “Once somebody else does it, it’s just not right. I’m hoping that somehow, some way, this will let [more people] know, ‘Don’t do it.’” True — it’s pretty clear that Rob Kardashian wasn’t thinking when he went on his social media tirade. Just like he wasn’t thinking when he tried to slam Kris Jenner with a transphobic tweet about Caitlyn Jenner. (Rob Kardashian is so gross, you guys) Maybe putting a spotlight on this bad situation will make some other people think before they upload, you know? Blac Chyna talks about why she’s come forward to discuss her experience. (You know, aside from the obvious “well everybody keeps asking” thing) “I just want to voice my story — voice what’s real — because at the end of the day, the person next to me could possibly be going through the same thing.” That’s the weirdest thing about stories of victimization. When one person talks about revenge porn or sexual assault or abuse, you never know who else in the room may have gone through the same thing. “For people to actually look up to me really means a lot. These types of things, they happen every day.” She’s right about how often it happens. Remember, there was that whole revenge porn epidemic that the FBI itself struggled to combat. It wasn’t until 2013 that new laws were written to address the specific, vile phenomenon. Because for everyday men to distribute an ex’s photo to so many people.just wasn’t possible before the existence of the internet. “A lot of women, they don’t address it.” That’s true — some try to move on without ever calling out the person who wronged them. But she has some advice for people who go through the non-celebrity version of her experience. “See it, recognize it — but don’t be tainted by it. Just be strong and positive.” That’s bland advice … but it’s also good advice. If we listen to what Pilot Jones has said about Blac Chyna , we might assume that Blac Chyna is just playing the media for sympathy. But … even if she is some kind of manipulator, she didn’t make Rob Kardashian do what he’s done.  All of that really did happen. So … we’re not going to pretend that Blac Chyna is sweetness and light. But that doesn’t mean that she wasn’t the victim of something awful. It’s hard to resent her for doing what she’s doing now — making the best out of a bad situation. View Slideshow: Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian: A Turbulent Timeline of Doom
