At their church in New Jersey on July 13, the NFL all-star and his longtime girlfriend were hosting a “baby dedication” for their young daughter Kennedy. Victor was leading a prayer for friends and family before the group ate … when he got down on one knee and pulling out a huge diamond ring for Elaina! People are really about that life come playoff time Fan Fight Erupts During Game 2 Of OKC Thunder Vs. San Antonio Spurs Playoff Series Apparently there was a drunken brouhaha during last night’s Western Conference Finals game between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the San Antonio Spurs when an overzealous Thunder fan decided to do some early celebrating. In the day and age of everyone having a video camera on their phone we are able catch what the TV cameras did not air. Here is what an eyewitness to the story had to say. According to BlackSportsOnline : “OKC fan was waving a KD jersey in the air right before the 4th quarter when a drunk Spurs fan from a row behind us walked down and grabbed it, then threw it. OKC fans obviously was pissed so he walked up and punched Spurs fan. OKC’s girlfriend got involved. Spurs fan hit the girlfriend and choked her. Cops came. Meanwhile, another Spurs fan sucker punched OKC fan. OKC’s girlfriend jumped on Spurs fan. Spurs fan No. 2′s mom then whaled on OKC’s girlfriend in the blue with Louis bag on her shoulder the whole time. Poor older lady next to sister, who I was trying to drag out of harms way, got trampled. So did my sister.” Hit the flip side to peep the cell-phone video of the fade. Nike NFL Uniforms: Hit or Miss?

The world of fashion met the world of professional sports in Brooklyn today, as some of the NFL’s biggest stars gathered with representatives from Nike and Commissioner Roger Goodell to unveil new uniforms for the league. Dubbed the Nike Elite 51, the shirts and pants are meant to be more elastic and lighter. As you can see by this Chicago Bears mockup, the actual look varies little: “The performance is so important for the athletes,” Goodell said. “What we tried to do is innovate. Even if the look doesn’t change, there’s innovation… There’ll be more to come.” Ben Roethlisberger of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Ray Rice of the Baltimore Ravens, Alex Smith of the San Francisco 49ers and Wes Welker of the New England Patriots were among the stars who modeled the new uniforms on stage. Said Super Bowl hero Victor Cruz of the Super Bowl of the champion New York Giants: “They’re tight. You can’t get pulled or snagged on. That’s the biggest thing for me: making sure that I’m sleek and I’m fast and I can’t be grabbed or held.”

Rocsi learned the hard way that it is important to do a little research before interviewing guests.  During a live interview, Rocsi asked NY Giants Wide Receiver, Victor Cruz if his father would be present to watch him play in the Super Bowl, only problem is, Victor’s dad has been dead for 5 years… In her defense, it was probably an honest mistake. Being in this business, I know how fast things can move. Sometimes we get thrown into situations and make assumptions that we shouldn’t. I give VC props for being so polite when he responded to her question. Rocsi also had a good comeback when she said “He’ll be with you in spirit…” Check out the video:

His first child was born on January 9th, and she was named Kennedy. Elaina Watley, the longtime girlfriend of Victor Cruz, is the mother. About his daughter, Victor Cruz told said , It’s amazing just to see her and to hold her in my arms. It’s been an amazing feeling, and I can’t wait to raise her and teach her all the good stuff … Every time I’m out there, I’m out there running around for her and catching the ball for her, so she’s always on my mind.” Victor Cruz and the New York Giants will play the Green Bay Packers tomorrow (January 15th) in the NFL playoffs.
