Granted, the Kanye West meltdown at last night’s MTV Video Music Awards was the most shocking development of the night. But this would be a close second: Ashley Greene and Adrienne Bailon showed up at the event – and both actresses were fully clothed! We kid because we care, but Greene and Bailon were each involved in nude photo scandals earlier this year. Fortunately, the young stars remembered to don a dress for the event, as evidenced below.

Beyonce was at the center of controversy last night – through no fault of her own. If you missed it, that jackass Kanye West decided to interrupt Taylor Swift at the MTV Video Music Awards, proclaiming that Beyonce was more deserving of Best Female Video after producing THE GREATEST VIDEO OF ALL TIME!!!!! To her credit, Beyonce was horrified, then reached out to Swift with a classy gesture after the incident. Yeah

Leave it to Lil Mama, whoever that is, to try to close out the already-strange 2009 MTV Video Music Awards with one of the oddest moments of the night. While it wasn’t as ridiculous or rude as Kanye West’s hijacking of Taylor Swift’s speech, the spectacle of Lil Mama climbing up on stage for no reason during Jay-Z and Alicia Keys’ VMA performance last night was still hilariously weird. For nearly five minutes, Jay-Z and Alicia Keys were performing “Empire State of Mind,” a number that was to close the always-memorable MTV award show.
