Source: Jordan Lye / Getty Woman Is Suing After Having To Deliver Her Own Baby In A Jail Cell According to CBS Denver , a woman who gave birth alone in her jail cell is suing after deputies and nurses reportedly ignored her cries for help during her five hours of labor. Surveillance video shows Diana Sanchez lying down on her cell bed, crying out in pain before she pulls off her pants and delivers a baby. In a federal lawsuit, Sanchez states that she first alerted jail staff that she was experiencing contractions at 5:00 a.m. The lawsuit also says that Sanchez spoke with Denver deputies and Denver Health nurses over eight times that morning, informing them every time that she was experiencing contractions. Three hours later Sanchez’s water broke, at which point she again attempted to alert staff. An absorbent pad is slid under her door for her to put on her bed about 45 minutes before she gave birth. After she gives birth, a nurse walks in and picks up the baby. The federal lawsuit says that jail officials “cruelly chose convenience over compassion” by not calling for an ambulance after Sanchez’s water broke and she was bleeding.

This week, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills finally cast a black woman , making some long overdue history. But when the cast list was released, one name was conspicuously absent. Camille Grammer was nowhere to be seen. Now Camille is telling her fans that they can lay the blame for her firing at one person’s feet: Kyle Richards. A lot of fans are happy to see Garcelle Beauvais and Sutton Stracke join the show, even if it’s just to shake things up. Sutton’s casting is extra good news for Lisa Rinna, as the two women are BFFs. And, again, it’s nothing short of shameful that RHOB had not previously cast a black woman. Now, a lot of fans had been ready to see Camille leave the show after the Reunion special . But actually seeing her name left off of the cast list came as a shock. “Wait, where are you?” one fan on Twitter demanded of Camille when her name was conspicuously absent. “I wasn’t asked back,” Camille revealed. “It’s fine.” “I did my time on the show,” she added, as if it were some sort of prison sentence instead of a coveted and well-paying gig. “And,” Camille characterized. “It’s Kyle’s show.” If you think that she’s not explicitly laying the blame at Kyle’s feet yet, know that she’s just getting started. “It was up to Kyle,” Camille claimed. She insisted: “I’m really fine.” “After the reunion,” Camille says. “I didn’t want to come back.” She reports: “It was an awful experience.” That may be true (especially the part about being miserable), but it also sounds like a way to save face. “Well you’ll be missed,” one fan assured her. “Seems like a bit of a slap in the face to you tbh after being an amazing ‘friend-of’ for two seasons,” the follower opined. The comment concluded: “Think they should remember who the OGs are.” “I agree, but they don’t,” Camille replied. “It’s a tough business,” the former Housewife characterized. “They eat you up and spit you out.” Hardcore fans of Camille Grammer — and yes, they exist — were not willing to accept that answer. They may not have the power to force Bravo to hire her back, but she told them exactly whom to blame. Fans bristled at the idea of one Housewife having that kind of influence over the others — whether it’s true or false. One fan wrote back furiously: “it will never be Kyle’s show.” That sounds like an outcry that could have negative consequences for Kyle and for Bravo. Or, of course, it might just fizzle out. Earlier this month, the world learned that it's over between Brody Jenner and Kaitlynn Carter . But when this sneak peek clip from The Hills: New Beginnings was filmed, they were still a couple and shooting down relationship rumors. To their shared frustration, a rumor cropped up that they had once been polyamorous. Is it true? In this sneak peek from The Hills: New Beginnings , Kaitlynn's friend Liz Facetimes her to warn her. Stephanie Pratt has been gossiping about her, Liz cautions, saying: “She’s just, like, asking about your relationship.” According to Liz: “She’s like, ‘I don’t know. Isn’t there someone else, like, involved?’” “What does she mean by that?” Kaitlynn asks, looking amused if anything. Liz reports: “She thinks you guys are like in this, like, polyamorous relationship.” Liz sort of stumbles over the word “polyamorous,” which is a good reminder that some of us use that word more often than others. If you need a reminder, a polyamorous relationship usually involves more than two people in an often romantic relationship. It can mean one person in a serious relationship with two others who know about each other. It could mean eight people who all date all of the others. Brody hears this theory and quickly interjects. “That’s none of her business,” Brody asserts. He continues, saying: “You know, we just, we like what we like.” Kaitlynn then uses the confessional camera to explain to viewers what gave Stephanie this idea. “When Brody and I first were together,” she recalls. “We were young, we were crazy.” “We were, like, you know, basically just trying to have the time of our lives,” Kaitlynn continues. “So,” she informs the viewers. “We did a lot of things in our relationship.” Oh? What kinds of things. Kaitlynn explains that these were hings “that, you know, I certainly wouldn’t say I regret.” Good. Regrets serve little good, especially if you were having fun at the time. But her words could mean polyamory. It could also mean that they had an open relationship or had a lot of threesomes, foursomes, or “moresomes.” Apparently they were content to leave that up to everyone's imaginations. “But,” Kaitlyn expresses. “The level of gossip that I feel happens in the group — it just makes me angry.” That's very fair. On August second, Brody and Kaitlynn announced their shocking split. “Brody Jenner and Kaitlynn Carter have decided to amicably separate,” their representative announced in a statement. “They love and respect one another,” the statement affirmed. “And know that this is the best decision for their relationship moving forward.” Though the two held a well-publicized wedding ceremony in June of 2018, they were never legally married. That makes Caitlyn Jenner's inability to attend her son's “wedding” a much smaller deal. (Also, if he wanted her to attend, he shouldn't have scheduled his last-minute ceremony during Pride Month) About a week later, Kaitlynn was seen gal pal-ing around with none other than Miley Cyrus. “Brody and Kaitlynn separated on good terms and are still close friends,” a source insisted at the time. “Brody is in a great headspace right now,” the insider reported. “And really isn’t bothered by Kaitlynn and Miley’s relationship.” Miley and Kaitlynn have not been trying to hide what they have going, either on social media or at major awards shows like the VMAs. It's interesting, but not necessarily signiificant, that both now-split couples were friends before things fell apart. And Miley and Liam were rumored to have struggled with whether or not to be an open relationship. This clip and this episode are likely not going to do anythign to discourage rumors.
This is Us is a mega, gigantic, super hit on NBC for one reason and, really, one reason only: It features characters viewers know and love. And yet: Thee Seeason 4 trailer featured on this page makes it clear that upcoming episodes will give us a look at character we don't know — and maybe won't love. Indeed, NBC has now confirmed that This Is Us Season 4 will introduce fans to 10 new characters, many of whom will be played by very familiar faces. “It’s so strange, isn’t it? How just like that a complete stranger can become such a big part of your story,” Mandy Moore‘s Rebecca Pearson tells future husband Jack, played by Milo Ventimiglia, early on in this video. “It’s actually kind of terrifying, you know, how a single cross with one person you’ve never met can change everything,” she adds … as glimpses of new characters appear. So… who are these strangers? And how will they impact the This Is Us universe we've been watching for years? Most details are being kept under wraps, but we do know who they're played by: Asante Blackk Marsha Stephanie Blake Omar Epps Bahara Golestani Jennifer Morrison Timothy Omundson M. Night Shyamalan Julian Silva Auden Thornton Nick Wechsler Morrison is set to make her debut on the drama as a military woman, this much we know. We're also gonna guess that Shyamalan makes a cameo as someone working Kevin on his the latter's movie after he landed a role in a Ron Howard World War II movie co-starring Sylvester Stallone. But, again, this is just a guess. Epps, we can also confirm, will play a mechanic. “I would say that there’s a lot of secret new cast members who are going to be a big deal, coming up,” co-creator Dan Fogelman recently said about the guest actors joining the show. As for other non-series regulars you can expect to see on Season 4? Griffin Dunne will return as Nicky, Jack’s little brother who had a traumatic time while serving in the Vietnam War. Elsewhere, Ron Cephas Jones will beb ack as Randall’s dad in flashback scenes… Elizabeth Perkins will appear in the season premiere as Rebecca’s mother … and Phylicia Rashad returns as Beth’s mom. “If you think you know what’s coming next you don’t know us,” this trailer teases Season 4 of This Is Us premieres on Sept. 24 at 9/8x on NBC. Neal Strassner was passing through TSA when a woman in uniform passed him a note that read “You ugly”. At first Neal shrugged it off, then in true white man fashion, decided to drop dime on ol’ girl. It’s great to be able to lean on family in trying times. That’s exactly what Joy-Anna Duggar is doing in the wake of her heartbreaking miscarriage . This week Jana Duggar pulled a classic move to help Joy-Anna unwind and beat the blues. That’s right, it’s a Girls Day, Duggar sisters style. On Wednesday, Jana treated Joy-Anna to a salon session. Joy was sure to post the outing on her Instagram. The 21-year old had taken a moment of social media silence after the miscarriage but she’s recently resurfaced , showing fans that she’s hanging in there. Both of the girls look cheerful in Joy-Anna’s post. The sisters are smiling for the camera and sitting back in big, squishy salon chair. It would be hard not to feel perked up in a room so brightly lit and full of potted flowers. “She took me to lunch, nails, coffee, & shopping!” Joy exclaimed in the caption for her post. She included a few emoji to help illustrate the story of her day: a salad, nail polish, a coffee cup, and a shopping cart. Joy was clearly grateful for the good time, and thanked Jana and Anna in her caption for helping to make it all happen. “Thank you, @janamduggar for spoiling me today!” She captioned. “And thank you @annaduggar for keeping Gideon!” She added. One of the perks of a big, tight-knit family is the built-in daycare service. Finally, Joy closed out her post with some hashtags: #greattimegreattalks, #iloveyou, #shespoilsme These sure sound like the words of someone who had a wonderful day, and really needed it. Joy’s fans and friends got the same impression, with many writing in to voice their love and support. “Aww, Joy,” Jana wrote back, “You’re too kind.” “I love you so much!” she added, with a kissing and heart emoji. It sounds like thing went really well with Anna back at home, too. “Y’all need to do this more often!” Anna wrote in the comments. “Gideon is the happiest little boy ever!” she exclaimed. She added, “We had a great time with him!” along with some pink hearts. Another comment came from Lauren and Josiah Duggar’s joint account. “Sister dates are the best!” they captioned. “So glad y’all got to do this!” Josiah and Lauren have a better idea than most what Joy must be going through. The couple experienced a devastating miscarriage of their own last October. We’re so relieved to see Joy-Anna out on the town with loved ones. We know she’s been handling the aftermath of her miscarriage about as well as anyone could hope. Anyone would be depressed and heartbroken after losing a child. Joy clearly finds a lot of strength from her devout faith, but she’s fortunate to have a great support network in her family too.
